House holiday rentals in Upstate South Carolina

We had a great week! Beautiful view, spacious condo and very comfortable! The kids loved the pool and lake access both within walking distance. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and nearby hikes! Definitely recommend- we will be back.

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

Our family felt right at home at Michael's A-frame. My husband commented that it felt as though we had stayed there before, and it really had. It has every amenity and creature comfort you could want or need, including a nicely stocked spice cabinet, plenty of linens, board games and puzzles, and a place to do laundry. Michael was friendly and helpful. Our family had an awesome time, and we hope to be back to enjoy the property in the summer months!

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

This home was beautiful, spacious and meticulously clean. The host's accommodating nature was evident in the fully stocked kitchen, equipped with everything a guest might require. Phone chargers were thoughtfully provided in every room. The backyard was beautifully maintained. If I return to this area, I will certainly book this property again.

We had a great stay! We got to enjoy the pool one day, although I think we scared off the person staying in the suite. The house was very clean, there was plenty of room. We loved the swings on the porch and in the yard. Would stay again! The hosts were also really nice and didn't yell at me when my brother-in-law ran over their mailbox with his car.... despite them having a sign that says, "Stop, don't hit my mailbox" 🤦‍♀️

Very homey, well stocked, roomy, in-law apartment in a quiet, country setting. Garage parking with direct handicap ramp entrance from inside of garage to the apartment.

The view was amazing, and the whole reason I specifically booked this house, and I was certainly not disappointed. The house was as listed, felt very comfy, was clean, everything as expected. I would highly recommend this rental and plan on coming back.

Wonderful place with amazing hosts and great views! Everything said in the listing is understated! Our expectations were greatly exceeded. Surprisingly clean and pest free for a lake house, this property has true unobstructed views of the lake and a great outdoor and dock area. This place has everything you need to enjoy a nice, relaxing stay in the country at lakeside. It reminds me of everything we love about Upstate SC!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spotless and cozy, with everything we needed—and more. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, and we were pleasantly surprised to find all the makings for s’mores waiting for us. The view was absolutely beautiful, the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. One of the highlights was definitely the adorable farm animals—they added such a charming and fun touch to our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing escape with a few delightful extras!

Todd has always been very quick to respond, very complete in the answers. House is quiet, easy to access- country feel yet close to town. There are two big grocery stores within 5 minutes as well as a number of great restaurants. The house has always been super clean including bedding, kitchen,bath etc. I have stayed here now 2 times and am trying to make it the "go-to" when I am in the area. The home is clearly of some age by design but very modern, well kept, and up to date. This is clearly a well maintained property. I come to town and have generally 4-5 days intense meetings and the quiet of the home, the privacy, and the comfort make it a place I seek on all return trips. It is well suited for an individual and a couple perhaps. The one bedroom design is perfect for me- I don't feel like I am forced to rent "extra" space just to not be in a hotel. This home fits.

We had a fabulous stay in this amazing place! We felt right at home and the amenities were top-notch. Everything felt super luxurious and the space was beautiful. What a great experience! Such a fun find!!

We were in town for a tournament at Erskine, so hardly in the house. However, our stay was wonderful. The house was so comfortable and cozy. It was very clean. There was enough room for our family to spread out and relax. Also, there were so many blankets to choose from. That may sound weird, but we definitely appreciated it! Oh, and a spider swing! My 9 year old loved that! Overall, our stay was great. Would stay here again.

We had a great weekend staying at Jeff's house. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of supplies on hand. The pond has frogs, geese, and plenty of fish. We love the afternoon sounds of the bullfrogs. A very peaceful place to be. We will definitely return in the near future!

This property is just as it is advertised. There are floor to ceiling windows that capture a stunning view of the mountains or you can sit outside to enjoy them! The house is well equipped, beautifully decorated, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and there are air conditioning units in each bedroom that can be set separately. The TV can easily hook up to all the major streaming services and the hosts leave an informative instruction book for guests which is really helpful with great recommendations. We lived our time here and would come back again. Our AWD Honda did well getting up the steep drive.

I stayed here with my bridal party for my wedding celebration. It was definitely a relaxing experience getting ready and having all the space the Airbnb offered. I loved all of the natural lighting and the beautiful breeze you get sitting out on the patios. I didn't get to enjoy every part of the property as I had hoped, but that was due to the business of getting married that weekend. The neighborhood felt safe, and it is still in an area where you're near nice restaurants and stores. Adam was awesome as a host, always quick and responsive, and proactive with helpful things to know during the stay. I'm so grateful I randomly came across this place for my wedding weekend. It did not disappoint! Thanks so much Adam!

Great stay in Highlands! A few things to note - the mile drive after you get off the main road is gravel and there’s no service. There was also no Uber/Lyft but we were driving so no issues there. Just a couple things to plan for during your stay! Overall, amazing place, extremely clean, & great communication with host. Would 100% stay here again!

CONVENIENT FOR OUR VISIT WITH NEARBY IN LAWS. VERY NATURAL, PRIVATE AND SERENE. COMFORTABLE, CLEAN ,WELL FURNISHED. WE'D DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN IF IN THE AREA. ONE CAVEAT, MOST RESTAURANTS ARE CLOSED ON MONDAYS AND BRING YOUR OWN PROVISIONS.

Wonderful place to stay right outside all of the downtown Asheville fun! I will absolutely be staying here anytime I visit the area!

This spot is something special, and the accommodations are second to none. Would recommend this spot to anybody looking for something special. You wont even want to turn on the tv with windows like these.

We unfortunately did not get to stay at the property as we flew in morning after Hurricane Helene, having no idea the devastation we were driving into: downed trees/powerlines, poor cell service & limited GpS, blocked access to roads, limited access to fuel & food. The only way to communicate with our host was by phone call thru AirBnB. They were amazing to deal with & Susan handled our unfortunately, unique situation quickly with kindness & fairness. We hope your property faired well thru the storm and hope for the day when we can get back and actually get to stay at your beautiful home. Thank you Susan & AirBnB
