House holiday rentals in South Carolina

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

This is a nice house with a lot of really great perks. The golf cart, kayaks, fishing rods, beach equipment, and more made it easy to enjoy the week. The location is peaceful and ideal for fishing but not perfect for swimming or waves; we went to adjacent Hunting Island State Park for the kids to ride waves (a state park pass is included by the host). We enjoyed our week!

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

The entire home was very clean and comfortable. Its like going to stay at your moms house, down to the comfortable sheets. Alot of extras make this home a 5 star including bath salts for the master bedroom, pool towels, mosquito candles, throw blankets, and seasonings. This place is in a good neighborhood with a grocery store, steak house, Walmart and alot of other places within 10 mins.

This was our first family beach vacation and staying at the Lucky Duck made it spectacular! We loved being just steps from the beach and being able to walk to restaurants and the pier! The private shaded pool was very well kept and the lounge chairs were perfect! We loved that each room had its own bathroom, and the balcony off the two rooms was a plus! I cannot recommend this place enough!! We look forward to staying at Lucky Duck again!

The home was absolutely perfect for our large family gathering! It was so nice to have plenty of space with wide open rooms. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking meals for the large group and then a wonderful huge table to eat together. The pool was perfect for the younger ones while we all got to visit. We've stayed in many short term rentals and this is our favorite!

Jeramy was a great host! The home was immaculate. The garage had room to park in and was just what we needed for extra storage like beach items. The bikes are a lovely amenity, and the kids loved biking the neighborhood, which was quiet and very safe. There was an issue with the dryer apparently noted by the previous guest. Jeramy called to notify me and ask permission to fix the issue the day after we arrived. I was grateful for not only his being proactive in fixing this issue, but he was very polite in offering solutions so as to not interrupt our stay. He even offered suggestions for restaurants and outings if we needed. When any issues arose, he was very courteous and respectful and always responsive, which not all hosts can be credited for. We would definitely recommend staying, but note: the beach is closer to a 45 min to hour drive away. We never minded because of what we got to come “home” to. 😃 the pillows/beds are the best of any vacation home I’ve ever stayed in! ❤️

Great place to stay in every way… We “highly recommend” staying here if you desire a hassle free vacation on the water! Not only is the home beautifully decorated and extremely clean, it has everything ‘extra’ you may need as well… such as electronic device charging stations, extra blankets, comfortable seating indoor and outdoors, game room, toys, games, baby/toddler amenities, life vests, fishing rods, kayaks, and the list goes on and on. Kitchen is totally stocked with any utensil you could imagine, pots & pans, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and many thoughtful things such as a snack bar, coffee and amenities. Beds were comfy and bathrooms had extra toiletries such as shampoo, body soap, Qtips, extra tissue, blow dryer, curling iron, etc. Honestly all you need to bring are your personal belongings and groceries! This has been the “Best” place we’ve stayed thus far and it was such a fun experience! The hosts were also great, and very responsive. Don’t miss out on this one!!!

Totally enjoyed our stay at The Wright Place. The house is beautiful and well equipped. The pool with wonderful and we used it so much! Loved the outdoor porches with nice tables and sitting areas! We would definitely recommend to a larger gathering!

Kendall’s spot was an excellent choice for our family vacation. Beautiful views, spacious, and relatively close to anything you could want to do while on the lake. We especially appreciated the seemingly endless amount of balcony and dock space to hang out on. We’d absolutely recommend the place to any family looking for a peaceful lake house getaway!

Not a great beach for swimming but a really pretty spot for relaxing..left us nice toiletries..had everything we needed to cook all of our meals..bring swim shoes..get up early for the awesome sunrise 😊

We were visiting for my son‘s graduation. We used to live in South Carolina a few years ago, we’re military and this home reminded us so much of our previous home we had. This house was just what we needed as a reminder to retire and move to South Carolina. Traveling can sometimes make you homesick and this home made us feel comfortable, like we were home ourselves.

We loved the place! The waterfall and private cove were great! We were slightly confused about where our rental ended and others started and what the common areas were. Once I asked, everything was clear. My wife loved the Happy Anniversary card when we arrived. The amenities were perfect and up to date. The bed was very comfortable with the new, adjustable mattress and base. We loved the 2 head shower, although the time it took to get hot water was a little long. Thank you for hosting and sharing this beautiful slice of heaven to get away from "civilization"!

I have to say this property is beautiful. Camille has thought of everything and takes good care of her property. My family and I felt right at home from the fabulous Game Room to the Games and Fire pit outside. The property is amazing. The place was spotless and smelled beautiful. Kitchen has everything labelled. She is a great host even with a mishap of one of my elderly relative that came from far she was very understanding and helpful. I would recommend this home to any and everyone looking for a home owner that has put alot love in their home. She thought of everything that makes it feel like home.

Even with some rain, we had a great stay. We still enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, fishing, canoeing, and hiking, in addition to lots of games for the kids. The place was cozy and clean, and the host was quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely come back.

Our stay was so relaxing and the natural scenery on all the grounds was so beautiful. No fish but trout fishing in the mountain stream was fun! The house was so clean, and the hot tub, sauna, and outside kitchen were big hits. Our Host was so friendly and helpful. Hope to go back again.

This place has everything you could want for a beach trip. A wagon, beach chairs, boogie boards and even beach towels. The 4 block walk to the beach is easy but the golf cart made it much more fun. Public beach access with golf cart parking available on 17th and 21st. If you don’t like the sand, the pool and hot tub are enough. Even board games for rainy days. The only thing that could make this house any better is if it were oceanfront. Thanks again for the nice house to make more memories together.

Cute house with an amazing porch. Being right on the water was so convenient. The floating dock was my favorite place to sit and bird watch!

Exactly as pictured!! We had an amazing time! Be careful of the steps as they are uneven(We had a small incident) but other than that great place! My family had a blast and we were all sad to leave! My family and I have already discussed that we will be returning! (Wish we were still there)

Can’t say enough good things about the place. My kids had a blast (almost 6 and 8). When i say they loved it, the LOVED it. The TV “room” upstairs is to die for. Must be a 100 inch tv on the wall. The pool is amazing, hot tub, pool table for the adults, awesome dock (neighbors that can deliver a boat for rent right next door - also super friendly) and great little arcade game set up (my son became quite infatuated with the golf game). Bonus to get to bring my pup who also enjoyed. Truly can’t say enough good things about this place. Plenty of beds (especially if your spouse leaves his CPAP at home). Could easily fit 2 families of 4/5 very comfortably. 10/10. Kids were ready to move.

Was a wonderful home. Loved the location was so close to barefoot landing. Would definitely come back again! Two pools were super nice. Easy drive to the beach. Only complaint was the WiFi was so slow there is no way anyone would be able to work remotely.

Wow! I can’t thank Derek and Lauren enough! They thought of every little thing a family would need for a wonderful beach vacation! You don’t need to bring anything just yourself! The house was gorgeous and tucked away in a wonderful neighborhood. Derek recommended great places to check out due to this being our first time in Surfside Beach! If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would! We can’t wait to be back! The house, amenities, and walkability to the beach was awesome!

Great location! We had so much fun staying here, caught a pretty big bass on the lake, had a lot of fun on the paddle boat, home was beautiful and perfect sized for 2. Kitchen was stocked with goodies and had a variety of appliances to cook with. And Dustin was quick to reply anytime we had questions or needed anything. Would recommend and stay again for sure!!
