Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Upstate South Carolina

Was a beautiful home, and we would happily stay again. We arrived right after storms had passed through and had no power for for first few hours. Hosts were very accommodating in making sure house still got cleaned and ready even without power. They offered to refund our first night if wanted to delay coming, and were keeping me posted almost hourly of updates. Was no fault of theirs, just Mother Nature. Loved the kayaks and all the board and card games. The deck and views are worth the whole place. Even provided s’mores supplies to make. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! Could not have asked for a better get away. Would love to return!

Absolutely perfect. We stayed for the week with our five kids (6,4,3, & 1 year old twins) and had an amazing family vacation. The space worked perfectly for our needs as a large family with small kids and the beach area was especially perfect for toddler playtime. The waterfall across the way was stunning and we loved boating around, fishing, swimming, fires by the lake, and rainy evenings in the hot tub. Such an amazing place for families!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The location was perfect—just a short walk to town, which we took advantage of multiple times a day. We explored nearby gems like Black Rock State Park, Tallulah Falls, Brasstown Bald, Minnehaha Falls (the drive there around Lake Rabun was stunning), and both Panther and Angel Falls. After long days of hiking, it was such a treat to soak our tired legs in the stream and then unwind in the hot tub. The beds were incredibly comfortable, probably the best I’ve had at an Airbnb. We’re so glad we chose this spot!

Wow this place was absolutely amazing the pool and the hot tub were definitely the highlight of the stay but the house was also very homey and clean and it’s was a fun time

Awesome oasis in tree-covered canopy! We stayed at the airstream more then we ventured out! We loved the outdoor area and even took a nap on the sofa! We took numerous dips in the hot tub and grilled out! We loved the tree-lighted areas indoors and very detail has been thought out! Thank you for a wonderful getaway and would definitely recommend to others! Loved tubing with Brevard Tubing .3 miles away! Hiked to waterfalls in DuPont State Park. Well worth it! Beautiful! Walked in downtown Brevard to shop. A must!

Absolutely loved the time we spent there! Although it was only two days, it was an amazing two days! We will definitely be back sooner rather than later! The home was amazing and everything was perfect!! Would highly recommend!!

The house is beautiful, spacious, and relaxing, with an amazing view of the lake and surrounding wildlife. Spotting bald eagles, blue herons, and hawks was a special treat.

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home with its incredible views of Chimney Rock and Hickory Nut Falls from the deck & patio! Lisa & Johns place is close to town, yet it is in a gated community up the mountain so its totally private & peaceful with it's awesome mountain views by day and a million stars at night! We spent time in Chimney Rock, Lake Lure, Asheville, The Biltmore, Black Mountain and more, everything was easy to get to. I highly recommend this home!

We celebrated my boyfriend’s 30th at Julie’s and absolutely loved it! Very private and secluded. The views are incredible. We loved sitting in the hot tub at night under the stars! This was exactly what we wanted for his birthday. Julie was super responsive and answered all our questions very promptly. Awesome host and would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a romantic getaway!

Alex & Josh were great host! Communicated clear & easy check in and check out instructions and were check in with us throughout our stay. The cabin itself was beautiful and clean, it was stocked with everything we needed pretty much in the kitchen and bathrooms. There were little chocolates on all the beds when we arrived, there were all different types of towels, to bathe, pool towels even make up towels which was , little thoughtful details we appreciated. The location was really great! My boyfriend and I were able to do a bunch of hikes near by but also be close enough to enjoy the downtown Asheville area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, would definitely return!

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great stay in Lake Lure!

This place exceeded all the high expectations we had going in. The view cannot be done justice with the photos. We have stayed in a bunch of places in the NC mountains and this was by far the most beautiful view we have ever seen. We also didn’t realize just how great it would be to have access to the lake club facilities just by staying in the reserve. Aurelia was super responsive, friendly and helpful. If it’s available, we hope we can stay again next year!

This place was everything we didn’t know we needed. Tucked away in the quiet beauty of Lake Lure, it felt like our own little escape. The house was clean, cozy, and had so many thoughtful touches. We started each morning with coffee on the deck and ended each night under the stars—it was peaceful in a way that’s hard to put into words. Our family made real memories here, and we’re already talking about coming back.

Eric was always quick to respond to my questions. Was willing to give genuine suggestions. Was very easy to talk to. Loved the location and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

My family enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend at Craig's Encore at the end of Lake Nantahala. We have stayed in many places, and this home was truly exceptional with every detail considered. We enjoyed watching Lake Nantahala change throughout the day, paddled in the kayaks, swam, soaked in the hot tub, relaxed and had fun outings renting a boat one day and tubing down the Nantahala River the next. It was truly memorable, and the only drawback was the long drive in over gravel, but that's what makes it so peaceful and remote. The lake was never busy and such a big change from so many crowded and touristed spots. We hope we made a good impression and will be welcomed back. This is truly a loved and cherished family home, and we appreciate Craig sharing it with us.

Absolutely Perfect for a Family Gathering Our stay in Bryson City was phenomenal. The views alone are worth the trip—breathtaking mountain panoramas in every direction. But what really set this Airbnb apart was how thoughtfully everything was set up for a large, extended family to relax and reconnect. The gathering spaces—both indoors and out—were stunning and comfortable, perfect for everything from morning coffee to late-night games and conversations under the stars. The yard games and the game room kept the kids entertained for hours, and the coffee bar was a huge hit with everyone. The sound system and music setup made it easy to set the mood wherever we were. The unobstructed views of the pristine Smoky Mountains from the hot tub were beyond what we imagined. You can tell the hosts put real care into creating an experience. We made amazing memories here, and we’re already checking our calendars for when we can make it back.

This place is absolutely beautiful!! You get the Mountain View and the rain forest feel at the same time. And if you have a dog-stop looking now and BOOK. My dog had as much fun as we did. The fence is so useful. The hot tub is larger than most! And the rain on the tin roof!! Priceless. Along with very comfortable bedding-you’ll sleep like a baby. Parker is nothing short of excellent! You will not be disappointed. We will be back very soon.

Beautiful, quiet spot. We stayed here for our 20th wedding anniversary. Very private, hot tub was great, loved seeing the fireflies at night. Still very close to downtown Waynesville. Jim and Kristie were great about communicating with us. Self check-in was easy, and the home had everything we needed, even shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others!

DON’T miss your chance to experience the magic of the River Love barn. Kangee’s EXCEPTIONAL hospitality throughout our time in her home set the tone for the entirety of our stay. Her attentiveness & genuine warmth made us feel right at home. The beauty of this property is truly beyond words. While the photos online are stunning, they don’t fully capture the enchanting atmosphere that envelops you as soon as you step onto the grounds. Our favorite spots were the clawfoot tub, perfectly nestled in a private, serene area of the property & the outdoor hammock within the screened in back deck. Kangee truly brought the outside in with her thoughtful design. Even on a rainy day- the sky lights during a storm that had passed through was such a reminder of the cozy atmosphere that permeates the barn. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful getaway or a relaxing family trip, the River Love Barn is a hidden gem that I cannot recommend enough. We left feeling refreshed & inspired, with hearts full.

We had a wonderful trip! Enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful views from the deck. Our first time to the smoky mountains and we were very pleased with the location and ease of getting to the park. Especially enjoyed the quieter side of the park. Host was very responsive to our questions and things we needed help with. We would definitely stay at their properties again. Cozy bed and everything we needed for the week. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is a 5 star review only because there’s not an option for more stars. This place is incredible. The cabin has spectacular views of nature. Everything in the cabin is simple and beautiful. Jessica has thought of everything from welcome card and wine to robes and shoes for the hot tub. The cabin is a short drive to Asheville but don’t miss out on what Weaverville has to offer. Lots of local spots with great food and vibes. Our three day stay was absolutely amazing and we did not want to leave. Cannot recommend this place enough! We hope to visit again!

Great place for our first visit to the Smokey Mountains! The cabin is just as beautiful as the pics! My son LOVED the spa!!

This place was beautiful! Perfect setting for our girls weekend. Such a peaceful place with great amenities. We also took advantage of Asheville Wellness Tours and had them come to the property for massages and a sound bath. Hillary was also very responsive and so kind. Highly recommend!
