This was the perfect place to stay on our surf trip. Everyone had their privacy and could hang out together downstairs in the living room or at the pool. its close proximity to surfing and access to great restaurants, for the value is excellent.

This house was perfect for 3 couples. Rach had own room with own bathroom inside the room which was important to us. Close to the beach. One couple went surfing every morning. At one point the keypad to get in the house died but she sent over someone to fix it fast and he told us how to get in the side door if needed again. We didn't rent cars. We walked around langosta but if we needed to walk to Tamarindo we took Uber. They are everywhere. it was 5 bucks each way. one couple rented bikes for 15 a day /each so it was cheaper for the rest of us to Uber each time. The plunge pool at the top with the grill was the best spot to grill and hang with friends and play games. it's covered table so even in the rain we could be outside. Super safe and quiet area. So happy we stayed here because it was a quick ride to nightlife but then we could go home to a quiet area ❤️

This place is a gem! The location is perfect for exploring the area, the house is stylish and comfortable, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend it!

We recently stayed at this amazing and had a truly wonderful experience. The house was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed. The pool was crystal clear and perfect for lounging, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials. One of the standout parts of our stay was how responsive and helpful our host, Evelyn, was. She made everything easy and stress-free, from check-in to answering questions during our stay. Her attentiveness added a special touch. The location was ideal—peaceful and quiet, yet everything was within walking distance, including shops, restaurants, and the beach. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway where you can truly unplug and unwind. Each morning, we woke up to the unique sound of howler monkeys in the distance. While we didn’t see them on the property, hearing them added a special, natural vibe to the trip. If you’re planning a visit, we recommend bringing bug spray, get used to seeing bugs and lizards.

Highly recommend Patrizia’s home for an amazing and special time in Costa Rica. Patrizia and her property manager Rosa were extremely helpful and supportive leading up to and during the trip. They answered all our questions, helped arranged transportation and gave many great local suggestions. The property itself was great, it came fully stocked, the beds were comfortable and the salt water pool was very nice. The location of the property was private, secure and quiet and very close to town with the use of a golf cart and is walkable without. We were looking at a few different properties for our stay but we’re very glad we chose this property. Rosa and Patrizia truly went above and beyond and it really made our trip an unforgettable one.

The host,Fede, was absolutely brilliant - very helpful and was able to assist with all our queries and requests. The villa was gorgeous, very spacious, clean and truly felt like home. the location was ideal as it was right in the heart of Tamarindo and it was very quiet at night, no noise. So grateful to have enjoyed staying at this beautiful home 💚

We had a great experience staying here! The home was perfect for our family’s needs (we have two young children), and the location was in a quiet little neighborhood away from the main hustle and bustle of Tamarindo, but a short golf cart ride to the center of town. The included membership at the Langosta Beach Club was a big plus as well. Melissa was an excellent host—she was very responsive, friendly, and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed, including baby items and coordinating a golf cart rental. Would definitely recommend this place!

Exactly as we expected for a quiet get away in a beautiful location.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. It felt private, peaceful, clean, and safe. Having a big kitchen, a grill, and a private pool made our trip feel luxurious and the rooms were spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for a week-long stay. We were a short walk from the beach and the town, and the home was beautiful inside & out. We absolutely loved every minute of our stay!

We stayed for one week. We loved how peaceful it was and the pool was much needed. The monkeys are the highlight - they come and go without any bother. Could watch them all day.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful, very comfortable, close to town, had everything we needed. We really enjoyed having access to the pool and outdoor amenities. Seeing monkeys, lizards, frogs, even cows during a quick stroll in the morning or cool down in the pool after a hot day at the beach was a treat. Camille was flexible with our check in as we had a very early flight arrival, offered great tour recommendations, and Nik was easily accessible for all of our questions. We had a great stay!

A beautiful place, the house is beautiful, clean, spacious and very comfortable. It is full equipped, the kitchen is very complete, the bathrooms are clean and very nice areas. Take into account the note in the description that they are building next door, then they will have noise from 7am, but this did not affect in a very important way our stay since the house is exactly as seen in the photos .

We loved our week stay in Playa Hermosa. The view is amazing and the house was the perfect size for us. We loved the gym, deck and pool. Ian was super helpful with scheduling activities. The best part of our stay was definitely having Rebecca come every morning and make us the best breakfasts ever! She is a superstar and even helped us with our Spanish. We will definitely return and would highly recommend visiting!

What a wonderful stay. Can't say enough about this beautiful house. Absolutely perfect for our family. The rooms were spacious and clean, the AC worked wonderfully, and the kitchen was full stocked. Definitely recommend utilizing their service to have the house provisioned before arriving. The daily housekeeping was amazing. We had rented a car, so we didn't need the golf cart option. To be honest, it might be too far a trek for the golf cart to the private club, but that's just nit picking as the weather was 90 degrees plus when we were there. The use of the private club was awesome, and we used it everyday. Right on the beach, great pool side service, and dinners tasted great. Honestly we have zero criticisms. If you are headed to the Tamarindo area, stay here and avoid an all inclusive hotel. You won't regret it.

Casa Cheetah was wonderful! Giselle made our stay even more enjoyable with the friendly daily service. Bedrooms were large, beds were comfortable and the house in general was amazing. Will definitely stay here again. Easy to get to town and beaches and hosts and concierge service made our vacation wonderful. I traveled with 5 older teenage kids and we felt very safe in the community.

Overall great stay got to see a ton of wildlife live like monkeys, lizards,bats and birds. I understand location on Airbnb is an estimate so it should the beach closer walking distance than it was. Very buggy if u do like insect be cautious. But great area for food and surfing.

Casa boomerang is amazing! Very clean and close to the supermarket. Beautiful pool and modern kitchen. Very spacious and safe.

The Casa Vera Vista was a beautiful villa on the cliff side over looking the bay with the most beautiful sunsets. The villa was close to the beach and great restaurants plus a good starting point for many excursions. The concierge team was always there when we needed them throughout the entire trip as well as with planning prior to arriving. The house was very clean, decorated very tastefully and had comfortable beds. The daily cleaning service was very helpful with three kiddos in tow. We had two dinners and breakfast with the recommended chefs and they exceeded our expectations, with both delicious food and friendly company. Our driver Raudy was always on time, professional and was very helpful in getting around with our busy itinerary. We definitely did a lot on our trip (zip lining, deep sea fishing, ATVs, snorkeling, rainforest, waterfalls, hot springs etc) and staying at the villa with the concierge service made it that much more special. This Airbnb is the perfect place to disconnect. The area is super quiet—ideal for relaxing and recharging. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Rodrigo was an amazing host—always attentive, quick to respond, and thoughtful about every detail. You can tell he genuinely cares about making the stay great. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway away from the noise, this is the spot. Highly recommended!

Cannot say enough about this place. The house is beautiful and had all the needed amenities. It is walkable to the beach and local restaurants. The hosts are great - very responsive and helpful in booking local excursions as well.

We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

We were attending a wedding on the property of Hacienda Pinilla and this location was in the perfect spot to be close enough to the festivities but far and secluded enough to have the perfect privacy. Vanessa and Audrey were the perfect host. They were able to answer any questions we had and also able to accommodate any of our requests. I would highly recommend it!

We spent three nights at Villa Senor Gato with a group of nine, and everyone absolutely loved the location. The house is in a perfect spot with stunning views. I practically had to drag the guys out—no one wanted to leave the pool! Seb was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns we had. We’re definitely coming back—Villa El Senor Gato made me fall in love with Costa Rica! ~ Pura Vida ~

We had a great stay and hope to go back. Here are a few of our highlights: - House was perfect for a week long vacation in Avellanas for the 4 of us (parents plus two teenage sons). The kitchen was well stocked, the AC kept things cool at night, and we loved having AM coffee on the patio listening to birds and monkeys. - We very heavily used the community pool. We were the only ones staying in our group of homes around the pool so we had it to ourselves each day. It was cleaned daily. - It was a long walk to the beach (20min) so we often drove to the maintained parking lot by Lola's and paid the modest $4. (The fee helps maintain the beach access so it seems well-worth paying each day.) Because it was still walkable, we'd often walk home, leaving the kids with the car to finish up a surf session... it was nice to have that flexibility. - The gated community with guards felt very secure, but the overall area also felt very safe for our 5-7 mile runs, evening strolls, and more!
