A fabulous property. Everything you could have wanted and more

Claire’s cottage was the perfect place for our stay in Staithes. We loved wandering around the town, watching the changes as the tide came in & out. Plenty of walks & places to visit around the area. Lobster Cottage was well equipped with what we needed for our group of three. We even got to sit outside in the late afternoon sun a couple of times! Claire was very prompt in replying to our queries. The parking permit helped! A great spot!

Great little place to stay. Comfy beds, peaceful surroundings, and David is a lovely host. The house is a really good example of a historic building which has been converted with imagination, style and class. It was really fun to learn about its previous uses from the books provided. Everything in the village is walkable, and they do good fish and chips at the Cod & Lobster.

We had a wonderful stay - such a beautiful quirky cottage in a fantastic location right by the harbour. Perfect base to explore Staithes, walk the coastline or just chill on the sunny roof terrace. Jackie was a great Host and Rebecca was super efficient communicating with us about our arrival etc. Brilliant being able to park outside the property and we loved the old memorabilia of Staithes as part of the internal decor. Highly recommend a stay here .. couldn’t fault it!
