Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Staithes

Wonderful property, recently renovated to a very high standard. Views were exceptional, fixtures and fittings were very good quality. Host was easy to contact and very friendly. Local pub is a ten minute walk and serves good food.

We booked this for friends to use for their honeymoon. Charles was very accommodating and helpful when booking and the space was just perfect. Particularly appreciated was the wood fired hot tub and lots of useful local information helping them to make the most of their stay.

The place is in a fantastic location with beautiful views across the harbour. The rooms are spacious, clean and homely. Great pub The Cod and Lobster has a great selection of beers and a huge Gin list. The food there is fantastic and reasonably priced. We will be going back next year and looking forward to staying at the Old Watch House again!!

Lovely little cottage with a view of the beach from the back garden. Weather was brilliant and there was a restaurant, a cafe, a pub, a fish and chip chops and a deli within walking distance. Would highly recommend.

lovely setting, period house is what it is. The children loved the little bits of history like the writing block that they had learned bout in school. Easy to find, quality bedding very comfortable. We were staying for a wedding so didn't spend a lot of weekend there. Garden was great to sit out in. Welcome pack was a lovely treat, 😋 The homemade cake sustained us all whilst making up all the wedding flowers at Danby church nothing too much trouble for Trish, I asked for full length mirror and there was one provided. We had such a lovely stay. The accommodation is like a home from home, it’s really cosy with a lovely design and little touches. The photos of the garden on the listing don’t do it justice. It’s a large garden area which is fully secure, meaning we didn’t have to worry about our dogs escaping. We were welcomed with some fresh bread and shortbread and there were balls and bowls for the dogs. The location is great for exploring Whitby, Robins hood bay etc. We got some meat from the local butchers and it was delicious! Would recommend going there too. We would love to stay here again! We didn’t want to leave.

Great accommodation. spotlessly clean, well stocked with utensils and basic provisions , sauces, oils, chutney etc. First class food from Hotel next door.

Idyllic four nights in The Shed. Nicola has the property resourced brilliantly and it was easy to feel at home with all the practical information she provided. The location is tranquil-days were spent enjoying the enclosed garden. The property is a nearby drive to a lovely village and market towns or you can venture further to Whitby or Scarborough. Thoroughly enjoyed our temporary home.

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

A super cute and cosy pod on a beautiful peaceful site, that was immaculately kept! The hot tub was amazing and the pod was equipped with everything you needed! We are looking to return over the summer with family and friends. Thank you!

We spent 2 nights at the apartment. Everything was as described. The location is fantastic within a beautiful holiday village and only 5 mins walk to the amazing never ending sandy beach which is absolutely perfect for your four legged friend. Filey is only 5 mins drive with lovely shops and restaurants and bustling Scarborough only a 15 mins drive. Will definitely be back!

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Everything was perfect! The cottage is cosy and had all the amenities needed. It was clean and just a 30min walk in to Whitby. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saltwick House. Staithes has a really good vibe for such a small village and everything was on our doorstep. Kerry contacted us as soon as we had booked and was in regular contact right up to setting off. We had no reason to message her whilst we were at the property. Anyone who has stayed in Staithes knows that properties are all similar in a very compact village, so it is all about making the most of the space available and Saltwick does this. Spacious areas downstairs and 3 good sized comfortable bedrooms. We would not hesitate to return

Great location for Guisborough to explore the coast and countryside. Well equipped cottage with all thats needed for a short stay. Great communication from hosts. Would definateley recommend.

Mel was a great host, sent us clear instructions for checking in and provided all the information we needed for our stay. She kindly let us know that the cottage was ready if we wished to arrive early. The cottage is located a short drive away from Whitby making it the perfect base to explore the North Yorkshire coast as well as the moors. You can also walk down to Staithes Harbour from the cottage where you will find a small beach and lovely pubs and cafes. The cottage itself was well presented, clean, and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. The host also left a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. The only thing I would note is that there were only 4 chairs at the table so was tricky for a group of 5 - a fold up spair chair would have been ideal! Having a parking space outside of the cottage was a big bonus as parking can be tricky around Staithes. We had a lovely stay and would happily stay again in the future. Thank you Mel :)

It was a beautiful little home and we are so pleased we got the chance to stay there, really private with great views. The garden was enclosed so it was good to be allowed to let the dog out into the garden without a worry. It was really central so we could get to a lot of places and it really felt like home. 🩷
