Great place to stay with beautiful view and a great space outside for the kids to play

We had a wonderful stay with our 6 month old baby. Ideal location for the beach, just a short walk down the hill. Also only a short walk to the amenities. Very dog friendly. The host was responsive and answered all our questions quickly. Had such a relaxing stay and especially loved the view from the master bedroom. We would love to return. Thank you!

Had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend at Salty Kisses with my family. The house was clean, well equipped and in a great location. Joanne was a very good host and emailed all the information I needed. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful place to relax with friends. Really enjoyed the terrace and the views. Comfortable beds. A very attractive holiday park estate with a great feel. So close to the beaches and beach cafe. Richard very responsive and helpful. A perfect week.

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. The house the comfortable and great space for the 4 of us. Andree was very friendly and knew if we needed anything we could get in touch. Thanks.

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

Myself, 9 others and 1 small dog booked on of Sue's fantastic cottages for a reunion weekend. Sue was very easy to communicate with, gave us the guidebook ahead of time virtually for any queries (we were very interested in the pizza oven and games room) Facilties were excellent, we were lucky that no other cottages on the site (only 3 others) were in use during our stay, so had free roam of the site and facilties. The local recommendations were brilliant. We went to the old black bull down the road for dinner on the first night and then again for roast dinner on Sunday - mega The house itself is just as shown in the photos, more than comfortable to sleep and house 10 of us for the weekend. Special mention to the hottub, (which is private for your house and I believe comes with all houses) and to Paul who was more than helpful coming to our rescue and reviving out pizza night when we experienced some issues with the oven. 10/10 would go again.

This was an amazing house in the heart of medieval York. Not only that, but the house itself is 700+ years old and you can feel it's character through the amazing renovation that has been done! The Minster is visible from the windows of the property, so you know that the views are just breathtaking. There are plenty of amazing shops, cafes, restaurants, and other businesses in walking distance, while the world-famous Shambles street and market is 5 minutes away. Can't recommend this more.

This is a haven of tranquility. Walk through the doors and you feel at home. So beautifully decorated, absolutely perfect in every way. We are keen cooks, love to spend time in the kitchen making meals and enjoying company of friends. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with all you need. Peter is an outstanding host and offers support instantly. We had a slight glitch with the internet (not Peter’s fault!) and he was so helpful and supportive. We love the place. Seriously LOVE! We will be back and look forward to being back!

Fantastic little cottage, very clean and well presented just as described. Very good location for other places to visit and explore, lots of food and mini supermarkets available. We would highly recommend this beautiful quirky cottage to others and will definitely use again if we're staying near there it was so relaxing and not too far from the wedding venue we were guests at. Amazing location, easy walk up onto the moors or into Rosedale along the river valley. Beautifully restored and fitted out. Everything tool you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. Peaceful seating area out the back and we loved seeing the rabbits and hearing the owls.

Great place to stay in a lovely area. Very comfortable with everything we needed and lots of thoughtful little extras. John and Tricia were friendly and helpful hosts with lots of useful local recommendations. We loved meeting all the animals too. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolutely amazing views of Whitby from lounge and bedrooms. Beautifully decorated. Had everything you could possibly want and was spotlessly clean.Perfect!

This is a fantastic home for exploring the beautiful east coast. Clean and comfortable with plenty of space. The enclosed yard at the back is a sun trap in the late afternoon 😎. We had a great stay with two dogs and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to anyone. The living area was comfortable and light, the kitchen was well equipped and spacious. The bedroom has a great en suite shower room and there is a lovely sun trap yard to the rear. There is so much to do within walking distance or a short drive. The local pub did great food and the nearby tearoom/bakers did a lovely breakfast and had some wonderful baking on offer. The butchers is well stocked as is the nearby co-op, there is even a brilliant pet shop! We were lucky enough to see the dolphins at Flamborough Head as well as the seals and sea birds, Bempton Cliffs are very close and we had some wonderful views of puffins and gannets. Nearby Filey Brig is well worth a visit. We can’t wait to come back to see it all again! Thanks

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay at The Barn. The property was immaculate, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The garden as well as the house was spacious and both felt very private and tastefully appointed and allowed us a relaxing and comfortable stay. The location was perfect for exploring this part of North Yorkshire where there is so much to see and do.

Beautiful cottage. Great care had been taken with the decor, fittings and appliances and everything was in perfect working order. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. There was a lovely welcome message when we arrived and some delicious ginger biscuits were waiting on the kitchen counter. The cottage is ideally situated with just a two minute walk to the cliff top coastal path and a short drive to the RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs where we achieved our goal of seeing puffins . I am so pleased I chose this particular property

Lovely place, very spacious with everything you need. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful and there are a couple of pubs in walking distance.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful and fantastically located cottage. Mitch was freindly and responsive, even given us prior warning of a potential power cut. The house was well equipped, warm and clean. I would recommend staying here.

Although Whitby is a maze of narrow streets, the instructions we were given made the property easy to find and there was space to park the car temporarily to load and unload. The recommended car park (with permit) was only a pleasant, short walk away. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and furnished and lived up to the description provided. We could not have been more pleased. The cottage’s cleaner obviously takes a pride in making sure that guests cannot fail to be impressed as they walk through the door. The top floor balcony gives a lovely view of Whitby abbey on the hill above the town and a partial view of the harbour. A lovely spot for an early evening drink. There are quite a number of seagulls around, so we never are up there. The waterfront with lots of great restaurants is a short walk away. I would recommend the Magpie Cafe for a visit for dinner. The bus station is also close by. We used the bus extensively to explore the nearby coastal towns and villages.

Josh was extremely helpful and we enjoyed our stay at his spotless accommodation. Everything inside was of top quality, very comfortable furniture and bedding, easy to use showers etc. Easy free parking right outside and just around the corner were cafes and restaurants, shops. The doggies were catered for too with their own basket of blankets and treats. An enjoyable break in a beautiful town. We will be back.

Lovely place to stay in a great location. Homely comfortable feel. We really enjoyed our stay. The master bed is huge! The cottage has everything you need and is in a great location for the beach and places to eat. The host is very helpful and easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return in the future.
