Pet-friendly holiday rentals in South Yarra

The stay here was perfect. I stayed with my bridal party the night before my wedding and it had everything we needed. Nancy was also very friendly and responsive which made the booking and checking in process seamless.

Lovely air bnb. Justin was great with communicating and letting us extend our check out time by a couple of hours. Location was good but loud when going to sleep on weekends people walking past. Construction was happening next door which we weren’t made aware of so was loud! Workers throwing bricks and tools around.

Really enjoyed our stay – the house is beautifully styled, in a great neighborhood, and easy to find with accessible parking. It’s a cozy, welcoming space that’s clearly well looked after. Just a heads up: the 2 bedrooms in the main house don’t have AC, so if you're sensitive to temperature, it might be worth considering the season before booking - there is AC in the main living area, but it's at the other end of the house. It was unseasonably warm in Melbourne during our stay, but we got through it alright. Kali was a fantastic host – super responsive and friendly, and since she lives next door, she was always around if we needed anything. Would happily stay again!

Eva’s place is in a great location and was a perfect place for our family of 6. We really appreciated the kindling and firewood that was supplied ahead of a wet and cold weekend in Melbourne. The fire is very easy to light and heats the space beautifully. Thank you 😊

Beautiful house! The outdoor entertaining area was very nice, and it was great being so close to shops in Richmond.

Perfect ! A gals weekend away allowed us to spread out relax and chit chat in a homely comfortable environment….everything was perfect.

What a peaceful and beautiful stay! We felt right at home at the George and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and birds singing in the garden. The house is very tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Sandringham is a lovely neighbourhood with a nice beach and just a 30 min train ride into the city. Shari was very kind and helpful.

Gemima was a warm and engaged host who delivered such nice personal touches. Felt like a home away from home, especially good for us was the outdoor area and dog friendly space that my dog was able to join us for the stay.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless – very clean and tidy throughout, which made it super comfortable. The location was central and convenient, with easy access to public transport, making it a great base for exploring the area. The host was exceptional – clear and consistent with communication, and all instructions were easy to follow. They were also incredibly hospitable and flexible, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

Firstly, the photos do not do it justice. The location is amazing, and the interior design of the airbnb is cosy and a vibe. Helen and Amy were extremely responsive and accommodating to our arrival time and helped make sure check in went smoothly. The airbnb itself was well stocked, above what was expected, it's like every little thing had been thought out. We definitely thought it was worth the price we paid and would stay again! This is a great place, great location, very clean. Relaxing view, pool, spa and sauna. Would definitely recommend to others.

Magda was lovely from the start and provided clear instructions for check-in and suggested parking options nearby as well as we were driving all the way from Sydney. The place felt comfortable and cosy and will definitely recommend for couples looking to stay with pups.

Absolutely blown away! Nicole’s place in East Melbourne is everything you need and more. We were just blown away. The view is BREATHTAKING! No matter where you are in the apartment, your photos will look stunning. The place is stocked with everything you could possibly need. She’s thought of everything - from decorations and a gift to make us feel welcome, to little things that are often missing from airbnbs like a stocked ice tray, blow dryer, salt and pepper haha. The apartment is directly outside a train line, 5 mins into the city, or you can go 5 mins in the other direction and you’re in the heart of Richmond. It’s walking distance to shops, restaurants and nature. Not to mention it’s clean and the beds are comfortable. It was everything we’d wanted and so much more. We can’t wait to come back!

Rebecca’s place is awesome. It’s neat and tidy with all the amenities and feels at home. Check in was seamless and Rebecca was so quick to answer any questions we had. Would stay again! Loved the place and the area.

Such a beautiful small home, so clean and bed linen immaculate. Beds so so comfy. Really felt safe, the street has elderly long term owners. Very quiet and safe area. I’m big on cleanliness and this was 10/10. Def staying again. Kitchen facilities brilliant, did all my cooking with good quality pots and utensils. Bathroom is awesome, love the view. Cant fault. This was the most amazing apartment we have ever stayed in. The views are incredible & the location couldn’t be better - lots going on in South Yarra, but quiet & peaceful in the apartment. Jason was a great host, even messaging early one morning to tell us that the hot air balloons were visible on the skyline - it was an experience just to watch them floating by. Would definitely book again & recommend to anyone.
