Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in South Yarra

Loved the super-clean, comfortable environment with every little need anticipated. Everything that you hope an airbnb will be!

We stay at a lit of Airbnbs and every now and then one will stand out due to the personal touches. We had fresh fruit, 6 large double yoked eggs, bread,milk, butter and the most beautiful fresh cut flowers. The house itself is like being at home. We called it the Tardis as it looked compact from the outside but was huge inside. James was very arrentative and obviously rightly proud of the house. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A very enjoyable stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. The location is great, well within walking distance to the city and right by the South Melbourne markets. Would definitely stay again and recommend others giving it a look!

A wonderful place to base yourself in a central location close to amazing cafes, bars and transport while still being quiet. Rachel had put a lot of thought into the local guide, tips and instructions to make your stay easy along with a myki card to get around. The space was spotless, cosy and bright. Communication was a dream and the only thing was the place was a little tricky to find initially as tucked away in a lane way.. but we did arrive late at night. We loved North Fitzroy and made our way through a lot of the local suggestions..all very good. Comfy bed and fab shower too ! Thanks for a wonderful stay Rachel

Location & Comfort! If you are looking for a cosy place to relax that is close to great eateries, shopping & public transport then Paula’s place is just perfect. We stayed here for 2 nights & wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Comfy beds & couch, well equipped kitchen & beautiful big bathroom. Found a car park quite easily near the house on arrival & didn’t use the car again until we departed as everything was in walking distance. Paula was a great host - responsive, welcoming & helpful.

This gorgeous historic home is in the best location with the tram across the road, the South Melbourne markets a very short walk as well as lots of local cafes and restaurants. The house is very comfortable and homelike as well as quite spacious for a one bedroom place. There’s a full kitchen with plenty of bench space to prepare all that beautiful food from the nearby markets!

Absolutely amazing stay! We are a family of 4 and loved our stay at this place. It was very clean and super comfortable. Kids enjoyed the games, books and music! Cannot beat the location and privacy at this beautiful home! Anthony, our host was friendly, responsive, helpful and very experienced. Thank you Anthony for all the timely emails and clear instructions.

Sarah’s place is a good find. Conveniently located near downtown Melbourne. She was very responsive. Incredible views of downtown Melbourne from her place. You have to pick up the key from a local grocery store (which worked fine) and there is only one key, but overall the stay was great. Excellent swimming pool and gym. Recommend staying here! Good value!

Absolutely exceptional stay! This property exceeded all expectations—every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the luxurious finishes to the generous inclusions that made us feel right at home. The space was immaculate, beautifully styled, and equipped with everything we could possibly need (and more). The hosts were fantastic—friendly, extremely responsive, and proactive in providing all the information we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. Their local recommendations were spot-on, and it’s clear they take real pride in offering a premium experience. Truly one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve ever had. Beautiful apartment and dream worthy bedroom!

Beautiful spot with heaps of nice walks and parks surrounding the property so plenty to see and do on your stay. We had the lucky pleasure of booking during Autumn. St kilda rd is covered in beautiful autumn trees which was picturesque! Really good sound proofing for when you want to close the city out but also at a good height and cornered apartment so felt comfortable enjoying the balcony when we had a rain free moment. I had great sleeps in the comfortable beds provided. The large modern kitchens and bathrooms were appreciated and they were well kept. Cleaners do a good job! 9.7/10 would stay again and highly recommend The only negative, and I have to suggest that you should park your car out front and unload before parking in the building. The offered space is on the second floor in the basement which had no elevator, so you have to walk the length of the basement and up a ramp to the first floor basement where the lift was. This felt strenuous to us as we had to do multiple trip!

This place is a gem. Beautiful view of sun set and sun rise, with chance of seeing Hotair balloon right in front of you. Lots of things to do at home, cooking, washing and bbq-ing. Will love to stay here again if we visit Melbourne again.

We loved our stay at Jaison's. Really communicative host, which was good at arrivals need to pick up keys in person. The place has everything you need- nice touches like eggs and bacon in fridge plus really clear instructions inside for everything. Also happy to agree a later check out which really helped us. Perfect.

Andrew was the perfect host - he was super helpful, responsive and offered to stay up late in case I had issues getting in, given my late arrival time. Communication was great and very open to helping where possible. The apartment itself was lovely and views were fantastic being on the top floor. You could still hear a lot of the traffic and trams however so perhaps bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper but otherwise not a big deal, just one of the things about being in an urban area. I was there for work so was a very quick stay but it was a close walk for where I needed to be which was great, thanks for having me Andrew and being a fantastic host!

Kate's cosy apartment was super good. Restaurants, theaters, great shopping, transport and even parks all really close by. Really close. Great shower, comfy bed, and so many thoughtful extras that I never expected. Thanks Kate for a wonderful week.

My wife and I had great 5 day stay. Amanda was a great host and clear with her instructions. The unit is in a fantastic position, ultra quiet and close to all you need to do in Melbourne without the hustle and bustle of staying in the CBD. I’m glad to have stayed at Aster’s place once again—this time at a different listing. The location was incredibly convenient, situated right opposite Southern Cross Station, which made getting to and from the airport a breeze. With trams just around the corner, exploring the city was easy and accessible. It was a smooth and pleasant stay overall, and I’ll happily choose Aster’s place again the next time I’m in Melbourne.

We had an excellent stay at Vik’s apartment, everything was as described or better. It is centrally located with good amenities that have been kindly provided by Vik, the swimming pool and gym are very handy and Vik is a great communicator and ensured we had everything that we needed. One negative was the blonde lady on reception, for whatever reason she seemed to go out of her way to be rude to us, it felt as though she treated us with disdain specifically because we were Airbnb customers, whenever I needed to speak with her or ask for information she went out of her way to make it difficult. I obviously wouldn’t mark vik’s score down for this because it has nothing to do with him and is out of his control. We loved our stay! Thanks Vik

Our stay was comfortable with all necessary comforts provided. The apartment was very clean, spacious bathrooms (helpful when travelling with a child) and the kitchen well equipped for our purposes. We had an overnight flight, and our hosts were accommodating with us requiring a different check-in. The express IGA is a minute's walk away to buy any basics you might need after travelling. There are local cafes in the streets behind the building (less than 5-minute walk) for a quick bite. The Southbank promenade is also under 5 minutes from the apartment with many restaurants to choose from (Pure South became our go to for breakfast, great menu and service). We were only a short walk from a pedestrian bridge to cross the Yarra, giving us easy access to Melbourne's great laneways and other attractions.
