Monthly Rentals in São Nicolau

We experienced the people, culture, and history of Porto and the Douro Valley while staying at the beautiful accommodations at Heart-Tripe Mouzinho 32. The unit was impeccable in its decor and amenities, which even pictures can’t do justice. The location is also fantastic and allows easy access to restaurants, entertainment, historical landmarks, the waterfront, and the train station. Many thanks to our hosts for a wonderful time.

I stayed for 3 nights from the 5th of June 25 It wasn't a self check-in, but one of the hosts came and gave me the key and explained the house.(You don't have to do it, and I think self-check-in would have been comfortable for both of us...) The view was the best. The house was spacious, there were no bugs, it was clean, and the view of the Dowoo River was the best, so even if I didn't go to Moru Park, the view of the accommodation was good!! If I visit Porto again, it was a place to stay again. The interior of the house was nice, clean, and there were almost no bugs (maybe because we opened the window, we caught 2-3 mosquitoes and 1-3 flies, but we were very satisfied because there were no crawling bugs) and there was an elevator, and it was a place I wanted to come again. However, to mention the shortcomings in the accommodation description, it seems that there is no air conditioner (there are 2 fans instead), there are about 30 stairs to the first floor with an elevator, and the bed is very slightly stiff. It seems to be an Ikea product. There was a washing machine, but it took more than 2 hours and drying took about 2 hours.(I didn't use it because I saw the water stains..haha) But despite that, considering the location view and cleanliness, I will stay again if I come next time. We thought Maria was always so helpful and quick to respond. Waterfront location by the Luis bridge , easy to explore Porto and Gaia sides. Stairs up two flights was a bit rough but the way up two nice men offered to carry our luggage up! So grateful. Maria gave excellent instructions and suggestions. We caught our Uber to the Campanha train station on the main road 250 m walk beside the McDonalds restaurant. So many beautiful patio restaurants along the waterfront. We had a great stay. Beds, shower were all perfect. A full length mirror was lacking that would be the only thing I would add. Thanks Maria we will recommend tthis place to friends
