A beautiful flat situated right on the trendy and "hip" quarter of Malasaña, one of Madrid’s liveliest neighbourhoods, an unbeatable location, right in the heart of Madrid. It is surrounded by a broad selection of trendy restaurants.
“The location and the house are great! The balcony is a garden, beautiful and clean, overlooking the landmarks of the Royal Palace and Gran Via. There are gourmet shops downstairs, a 24-hour supermarket, and a place for young people to go shopping in Madrid, but the house is quiet and soundproof, and very quiet. Especially at night, there is a glass window above the bed, you can watch the starry sky quietly. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and coffee. Overall, highly recommended.”

“Israel was a great host. We turned up around 11.30pm and the instructions he provided on how to get in were very clear. He had a camera/electrical lock system so he could unlock the apartment remotely which was handy - we even locked ourselves out accidentally later that night and he kindly helped us get back in again, with no complaints! The apartment was nice, very open plan and decorated well with a huge window that went the length of the apartment. It did get a little noisy (there were rubbish collectors at night on most evenings!) however there were some earplugs provided which were helpful. It had everything we needed. Mattress was a little hard for our taste but that’s just us! The part we were most grateful of was that when we were in Madrid, the city got put on lockdown due to COVID-19 - we were scared and didn’t know what to do so we ended up changing our flight and coming home earlier as we didn’t want to get stuck. Israel had messaged me as soon as talks of the ban came in to place, telling us the location of all main supermarkets. He checked up on us a few times after that (which was very kind and greatly appreciated) and when I told him we’d be leaving early, he very kindly asked me to keep in touch and that if we had any problems, we could stay in his apartment for free until we sorted ourselves out. We managed to get home safely but we were very touched by Israel’s kindness. Thank you Israel! We didn’t see as much of the city as we’d have hoped so we hope to be back soon.”
