Holiday rentals in Eastern Algarve

Rui was a wonderful host, who was very attentive and super quick to respond to messages. The location (and garage space- score!) was incredible, that was easily walkable to the old town. The unit had all of the amenities and bedrooms were spacious. Will gladly stay here again in the future-Thank you Rui for being a great host!

We enjoyed our visit to Lagos, and the apartment was perfect. We enjoyed having coffee and drinks on the beautiful deck with an ocean view. Andre was a fantastic host. He provided great restaurant recommendations and was very responsive, which was especially appreciated when we locked ourselves out on the deck. We highly recommend a stay at his apartment.

This is one of our favorite Airbnbs ever. Not only has Christian thought of everything to make for a comfortable stay, the original charm of the building is amazing, and the location was perfect for exploring both Olhao and other parts of the Algarve. We loved the atmosphere of this smaller fishing village and felt right at home living in the old town area. Highly recommend!

The pool was great and the bed was so comfortable, the place was spotless and we enjoyed seeing some wildlife in the garden. As two young women travelling we also felt very safe there and had everything we needed. It was also very nice to meet you and know you were nearby if we needed anything. We would love to come again :)

We had a lovely stay in Faro. The apartment is exactly as described - spotlessly clean, well-appointed, minimalistic in design, and inviting. You have everything you need in the apartment - nothing has been overlooked. Access is simple and efficient with keyless entry and Tatiana was able to offer early check-in for which we were grateful. The roof terrace is a lovely addition. The apartment is perfectly located, just outside the main restaurant area - so peaceful, but within easy reach in literally a few minutes. The area does look a little run-down and graffiti is rife, but that appears to be the case for much of Faro's suburbs. Still, there is plenty to see, the restaurants are superb, and the people very friendly and inviting. We did a day trip to Albufeira which was fun, and loved returning to the relative calm and ambience of Faro.

Staying at Joana’s place in Lagos was the most heartwarming and memorable Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed - not just as guests, but as a little family. My wife, our baby, and I were blown away by the love and attention Joana poured into every detail of the home. The interior is simply stunning - unbelievably lovely, with an eye for exceptional decoration that makes the space feel not only stylish but deeply cozy and comforting. Every corner felt thoughtfully put together, inviting us to slow down and feel at home. One of our favorite features was the patio with its small pool, perfect for a refreshing dip during the warm afternoons. It became a peaceful little sanctuary, away from the buzz of Lagos, and gave us that much-needed feeling of retreat. What touched us most, though, was Joana’s incredible hospitality. She had prepared a beautiful welcome basket filled with snacks, wine, and drinks—not only for us, but also a special

Lara’s home was so perfect we all became tearful when leaving (including our toddler)! This home is one of the nicest we’ve stayed at in our many travels, and would replicate this trip over 100 fold. The home is private and quiet, overlooks an incredible marshland/waterway in distance where every night we would sit with a glass of local wine (so many within 10-15 minutes of this home), and watch the storks nest in the preserve in the distance. The pool and deck hosted wonderful day swims for us and our toddler, and we enjoyed every night grilling and eating at the outdoor table under the setting sun. The inside of the home is spotless and a designers dream. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, the beds and rooms spacious and well appointed. Lara welcomed us in with such an incredible welcome basket that we searched out the local shops to buy so many of the goods over again. This was a base for our day trips to Lagos, Portimao, and the various Praias in the area. Don’t stay anywhere else!

Truly spectacular apartment. Wonderful location equidistant between the Old Town and the Strip, so perfect for guests wanting to visit either, but noise disturbance is minimal. Wonderfully presented, tastefully decorated and modern. Amazing views of the sea and the beach from both balconies. Beach clubs and lots of loungers only a 5 minute walk. A word on Nelson- he is a brilliant host, he managed to accommodate an early check in at short notice and was very quick to respond to any queries we had over the Airbnb app both before and during our stay. We had never stayed in Albufeira prior to this trip but should we return we would come back here without question. The whole experience has been exceptional.
