Hotel holiday rentals in San Diego

Great condo on Coronado. Clean, comfortable for our family of 4 (2 young kids). It’s a short walk to the Del and the beach. We mostly cooked our meals but there are wonderful restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. We were able to park our car and not use it all week. We would definitely come back!

This location was fantastic. Everything was as described and we were so happy with our stay. As listed in the postings, the people trying to sell timeshares are VERY pushy but we had our 2 and 4 year old with us so we just remained very stern with the fact that we weren’t interested and kept walking away until they stopped. Beautiful room with a lot of walkable restaurants and so close to the beach! We loved it.

Super easy check in and out. Host was very responsive and accommodating, especially when one of the appliances was not working. Very convenient location and was a fairly equal distance from most of the major attractions near Downtown San Diego. Gaslamp district is fun but can be a bit lively, if you are not used to that sort of thing. Would recommend exploring the waterfront, Balboa Park and other areas outside as well.

Stayed here during SDCC for a couple days. Price was solid especially for comic con. The check in host was very nice and helpful. Overall I would say it was a typical lower budget hotel stay. Nothing fancy by any means but it got the job done for what I needed!

3 of us stayed in Mayra's place for a long weekend. It had everything we needed, and was walkable for all the activities we wanted to do. The included parking space was super helpful. It is in the heart of the Gaslamp district so we expected a little noise, which was there, but suprisingly quiet given the central location near bars and clubs. We made a couple minor suggestions about hooks for towels and a drying rack for dishes that would make things just a degree more convenient, but we 100% enjoyed our experience and would absolutely stay again. The hosts were also very communicative. Definitely 5 stars all around!

One of my favorite vacations. Host was friendly and helpful. The location was spectacular. The proximity to the beach and walkability to great local restaurants was worth every penny. Our space was clean, had a wonderful view, every amenity we wanted and more. We will definitely be back.

I had an absolutely exceptional stay at this private condo connected to the La Costa Resort and Spa. The unit itself was spotless, beautifully furnished, and incredibly comfortable — offering the perfect blend of privacy and resort access. The location couldn’t be better, with beautiful surroundings and all the amenities of the resort just a short walk away. The owner was a true pleasure to work with: responsive, accommodating, and polite throughout the entire process. Every detail, from check-in to departure, was handled with care and professionalism. It’s clear that the owner takes great pride in offering a high-quality experience, and it absolutely shows. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a luxurious and seamless getaway in the La Costa area.

Selena goes above and beyond to make sure the stay was everything we wanted! She personally helped us with check-in and the parking. The room was lovely and exactly as pictured. The resort pools were lovely and easy. We also appreciated how separate the villa felt. We were never aware of neighbors, it was very peaceful. Everything was clean and professional. Thank you!

The condo is adorable, clean, and super comfortable. The little kitchenette area was perfect for us to make charcuterie boards and beverages. Then we enjoyed them in the little sitting area. The beds were great and the condo has a very spacious bathroom. The La Costa resort grounds are gorgeous! Having access to 2 pools and 3 hot tubs was perfect. We had multiple restaurants to choose from, plus a marketplace for coffee and snacks and to go breakfast. Also a full service spa and shops on the property. Everything you could need and you never have to leave the property! The hosts were super friendly and were great communicators. This is a GREAT option that gives you more space and amenities than a hotel room for the same price (once you add in hotel fees and taxes). Thank you for sharing your cozy place with us! It was a perfect weekend thanks to our accomodations!

Great place to stay at. Felt very safe and it was very clean. Beautiful place near the beach. My girls and I didn’t have to drive around so much. Everything we needed was walking distance. Allowed us to enjoy our time at the beach. Friendly staff, thanks for a great mini vacation:)

Overall, great experience here. Even though we aren’t timeshare people, we were able to decline that option upon check-in. The parking is pricey so we found street parking nearby, which wasn’t a problem. The trains can be a bit noisy but they provide earplugs. We didn’t find it to be an issue. The room was awesome, amenities at the hotel were wonderful. The pool on the second floor with a hot tub and view of the ocean was amazing. Good wind block for when it was chilly as well.. The location is perfect, walkable to everything. We would definitely stay here again!

Very convient for a one night/last minute stay! Parking is difficult: street parking, unsafe neighborhood. However 5 minutes away from airport and walkable to downtown italy. Place is clean and nice, very thin walls! Plus is no need to check in with lobby, just call for assistance. Loved how they do accept upon request earlier check-ins!

The location was a perfect location for all the fun spots around the Gaslamp District. The staff at the location were super friendly and made you feel welcome. The room was super clean and the bed was comfy. Would love to stay here again!

Great little hostel in a central area. It had everything one could need for a short stay. Would definrelt stay again for a short stay!

This place meets your needs if you’re going to spend the day out. The master bedroom is in the third floor of very steep staircase and didn’t smell freshly cleaned. The neighbors were slamming doors throughout the night and the constant highway traffic is also noisy. Bring your own cooking pans if you plan to make breakfast or any other meal. We showed up earlier to ask if we could park one of the car where we would be staying to go on about our day site seeing but it became an ordeal, and then allowed after all.
