Julia’s place was everything we hoped for and more—exactly as described and just as beautiful as the photos. We came to San Diego to run the Rock and Roll Marathon, and the location couldn’t have been more ideal. Being within walking distance to the start line made race day smooth and stress-free. The home itself was clean, stylish, and full of thoughtful touches. Our kids felt right at home the moment we arrived, and they especially loved the projector—it made movie nights feel just like being at the theater. Nestled in a lively neighborhood near Balboa Park and a great selection of restaurants, this stay truly made our marathon weekend unforgettable.

The perfect midweek getaway that we needed! What a beautiful space conveniently located right above the beach that gives the most spectacular view of the ocean! Quiet, roomy, and the most perfect, serene, retreat that makes you forget anyone else is even around. The photos in this listing don’t lie! We had the best time, ate some amazing food at the easily accessible restaurants (all in walking distance), soaked up all the sun and relaxed and enjoyed watching the surfers from bed in the morning and sunsets in the evening. We will definitely be back!

This condo absolutely blew us away. After our original Airbnb fell through (a dirty unit and last-minute cancellation), we were in a panic — but Tatjana and Mark came to the rescue with one of the most incredible space we’ve ever stayed in. Located on the 17th floor of the Strata building, this unit offers views that surpass any rooftop bar or lounge in San Diego. The panoramic skyline, twinkling city lights, and bay views are just unreal. At night, you can quietly enjoy watching planes glide through the airport’s flight path — no sound, just a mesmerizing show. By day, we loved spotting naval ships and helicopters in the distance, a uniquely San Diego touch that added even more magic to the stay. The condo itself is immaculate, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly peaceful. It felt like a high-end retreat with every comfort of home. Tatjana and Mark were warm, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our experience perfect.

My daughter and I came to San Diego for a 3 day beach weekend. The AirB&B was perfect! The hosts were thoughtful in the amenities they had for us and the location was very close to the freeway. There were a few great coffee spots within a block of the property, a grocery store and several restaurants within that same block. The place was comfy and priced very fairly. They were incredibly quick to respond to our questions. It was a really wonderful weekend!

Overall a great place to stay. Great location and great amenities. Place was well-equipped. The traffic from the freeway can be a little noisy for light sleepers.

Very very homey and beautiful stay for a getaway in SD. It’s walking distance from almost all the cool spots in the city. Host was immensely attentive and responded almost immediately to any of my questions, personally the best host we’ve ever had. Only hurdle to be aware of is the parking, then again you’re across the street from petco park so it’s expected. But besides that our stay was perfect. definitely would stay again for the view alone!, everything is just a plus :)

Beautiful setting and home. Close to activities we planned in San Diego and comfortable to return to in the evening with family.

The home was in a quiet residential neighborhood and had everything we needed. The kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen I have seen so far in an AirBnb :) Kudos to Michael and Diana for that! Outdoor space was beautiful and our toddler guest had lot of fun with the extra space!

Patrick and Sara‘s Home in Oceanside is an amazing place. The presentation and the pictures shows at least not the full potential of the site. Entrance was perfect, all well prepared. Kitchen perfectly equiped. Many towels, washing machine, bar, pool, grill, BBQ, perfectly in shape and Sara was many times just asking if all is great. It is for sure not cheap but it’s worse. My family and I had a great 5 night stay for spring break. I’m very sensitive to cleanliness and this house was spotless. The sheets and towels were high-quality. The home had plenty of space for me, my husband, and our three young children. The neighborhood was quiet and safe and is also centrally located. It was quick to get to the zoo, Legoland, and the beach. There was a pack and play that my toddler slept in and it was nice to not have to pack our own. If you’re heading to San Diego for vacation, this is a great place to stay!

The host was incredibly responsive and quickly took care of any issues that arose, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The backyard was a highlight—serene, peaceful, and beautifully landscaped. The value for the price was definitely worth it, and we'd highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We loved this beautiful home. The location was so peaceful. The view was amazing. It looked like everything furniture, dishes, bedding were new. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Between the fun game room and the backyard with jacuzzi we just stayed at the property all day. It was an oasis.

Grant: the house was fabulous! My only regret is that we couldn’t have shared it with others! It was the perfect party house. If we’re ever in San Diego again we’re going to see if this house is available. I’d like to share it with family & friends. And I’d like to explore San Diego further. Nate finished in the top 1% of over 17,000 runners in the Rock & Roll half marathon and it was a blessing that he could come back and chill after the race at such a lovely space! Great host and a great property. Datesh was very responsive and helpful. We landed early in the morning and Datesh was able to help us coordinate an early check in. The property was perfect for our trip and conveniently located to have access to the beach and downtown. Moreover, the amenities like the pool, hot tub, and pool table made the stay so much fun. Lastly, a member of my group left a couple valuables and Datesh was able to communicate with the cleaning crew to find them so they can be mailed back. Overall, everything about the experience was great!

Such a wonderful place! I would definitely stay again. Seems really big compared to other units we’ve stayed in. The balcony faces in and you can really see all the inside garden with a little bit of the ocean.

Our family had a delightful stay. It was a clean apartment in a great location right next to the beach. We’ll be back!

Unit was great. It was clean and comfortable. I wish there were more hooks to hang towels and swimsuits on. Also the hallway leading to the unit had plumbing issues they were repairing. So the hallway stunk pretty bad and it kind of came into the room. But they did have fans on it and the issue should be resolved soon. I would stay in this unit again.

We spent a week in this apartment in Oceanside and despite the weather not being as good as normal for the time of year we had a lovely time. Great apartment, well equipped for people who want to self-cater, very confortable and right by the beach.

Great place and great location. Great management company. Our stay was smooth and we will recommend that place to everyone!

This condo is absolutely beautiful. The views from both balconies were stunning and the entire condo complex is so peaceful.
