Holiday rentals with a hot tub in San Antonio River

On our drive back from Louisiana to Arizona we decided to stay in San Antonio for a few days as I have never been. There is so much to do around the home. We took an Uber to the Riverwalk and spent a lot of time down there and in the surrounding areas. So many good restaurants as well! The home was spotless! It’s an older home and I loved the feel of it because it has so much character! The backyard was a cool place to chill after a day of walking around. The neighborhood is very quiet other than an occasional train which my husband and I are used to so it didn’t bother us any. I absolutely loved the coffee bar, showers and the beds! The mattresses were so comfortable! Anna and Jeremy had very clear checkin and checkout instructions. They provided so many recommendations for food and things to do in the area. They were proactive with their communication and response times were very quick if I needed to reach out to them! We will absolutely be back! Thank you for hosting!

Lovely house over all. Great for kids and plenty of space for the 7 of us. House was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Close to restaurants and grocery store. We loved the hot tub and backyard area! Everything was easy to find in the house. We would definitely stay here again. Judith, our host was very friendly and kind. Couldn’t have asked for a better host.

This home is beyond beautiful, the pool and hot tub were at perfect temperatures, the back patio furniture was ideal for our group, the game room was a blast, dinning room and kitchen felt like home and the beds were clouds to sleep on, i have zero complaints about this air bnb, besides not finding and booking sooner.

This was the perfect locations for a small family get away! My husband and I brought our 5 yr old and 3 year old with us. It was only a 10-15min walk directly to the riverwalk. It was an easy walk with both kiddos! It was 20 mins to SeaWorld and 40 mins to Schlitterbahn. Grocery delivery was easy and quick. Stores and restaurants nearly right next door. Super quiet neighborhood even being close to everything. House was AMAZINGLY clean. Everything you needed! Nothing was missed or forgotten. Home was so beautiful and loved the history. We will be booking again!

Absolutely loved the house! It was super clean and was everything and more that my partner and I wanted. I would definitely recommend this place. I look forward to staying here in the future!

Enjoyed the stay and appreciated the nostalgia that came with it. Watching VHS Movies in a VCR with my son and wife felt like a boat from the past when Blockbuster Night was a thing! The place met all of our expectations and hosts were very responsive! We will stay again in future visits to SA!

I have never been able to stay at such a beautiful, enchanting accommodation at such a great price point! The entire property is like stepping into a dream and the villa itself is unreal. The pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and greenery are incredible! Check in and out are easy and their welcome binder makes every villa process easy to figure out. Barbara is such a kind, phenomenal host who I cannot say enough good things about! The property manager is wonderful as well. They are absolutely the heart of this place! It is so clear that this is a labor of love and I am so grateful for having the chance to have spent just over a week here. There is even a book with local recommendations for guests! I highly recommend this villa for any person or group and am already looking at return possibilities to see how soon my best friend and I are able to come back. We had the best trip of our lives!

Lots of space. Great for family gatherings. GREAT location, close to (pretty much walkable) many bars and restaurants.

I would not hesitate to book this gem of a house. The amount of care and love the owners have shines through every detail. The mattress/ linens to the beautiful leather chairs...everything feels high-end and really comfortable. The Spanish tiles and the whole vibe is great. And it is very spacious. Its just really calming as soon as you get in the house. The grounds are just as beautiful. The old trees and the pool were outstanding. The hosts are very sweet and kind. One hundred percent recommend this place!

First of all, the pictures didn’t do justice, it was amazing and way beautiful in person. The perfect getaway. It was peaceful and the pool was clean and as described! It felt like it was a resort. They have all amenities that you would need for the stay. It was peaceful and private. The Sonos sounds was incredible, never had something like that before. Honestly, FIVE stars is not enough! I would give them more if I could! My pups will miss the roaming around in the grass and they felt like home! We were TRULY impressed! Beautiful home!

It would be difficult to find a place so close to one of the biggest cities in the country, yet at the same time feel like you have a view of nature as far as you can see. During our stay we saw deer, armadillos and foxes. We enjoyed the spacious rooms and split layout. Thank you!

Absolutely stunning home! Our check is was smooth and the host was great. It was super spacious, clean and well maintained. The back yard was big and secure for our pups. The hot tub was the star of the show and the pool house was equipped with fun family activities. Overall an amazing stay, would definitely stay again!

Hosts are great. Perfect little secluded cabin in the woods with private entrance. I have stayed at this cabin twice with my husband and we absolutely love it. The only negative part of our stay is it rained really bad this past Monday and my husband absolutely loves the rain and likes to watch the rain from the patio. If you’re planning on staying at the cabin when it’s raining you can’t use the hot tub or watch the rain from the covered patio because the roof isn’t sealed and rain comes through the roof and will soak everything. Other than that we loved our stay and will book it again soon.

Mary was an amazing hostess and really went out of her way to make our trip special. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and Mary took the time to leave out cold champagne and treats for us. It was so very special and thoughtful. A trip we will never forget! Mary’s house is perfect a weekend couples retreat away from the city and so very quaint. We can’t wait to come back again! Thank you so much Mary and Mark we appreciated your amazing home and unforgettable welcome.

The love shack was perfect for a weekend away! We grilled, enjoyed the hot tub, relaxed by the fire ring and on the back porch with gorgeous views. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, from fire wood for the fire ring to k cups for the coffee pot, and lots of clean towels. We came down for a motorcycle rally, and scenic rides, but this was such a perfect little cabin, that we will absolutely be back. The host was thorough with the instructions, and super friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We were secluded but not too far from grocery stores or restaurants, they were just a little drive away. The bed was SO comfortable too, we both slept great! We had a wonderful time here at the love shack, and can’t wait to come back.

Dates: May 24th-June 9th Views/Environment: Spectacular views! Secluded. Peaceful. Stargazing while in the hot tub. Nature walk/hiking/outdoors. Picture perfect! Cabin: Spacious! Great layout. Comfy bed! Great amenities and well stocked with pots and pans, dinnerware, and grill stuff. Bathrooms are great and complete with bath towels and hot tub towels. Wifi available. Host: Spencer is a great host! I originally rented the cabin for 4 days but then i kept extending it and Spencer was easy to work with! I ended up staying from May 24th-June 9th. Location: The cabin was my home base. From there, we went to places like New Braunfels, Boerne, Kerrville, Frio River, Bandera, and other great places nearby. The bars in Bandera are awesome!!! We met a lot of people and I enjoyed the place so much. Check-in/Check-out: Super easy! No hassle. I highly recommend this place, 10/10! Looking forward to my next visit to Texas!

This was my second time staying at this amazing place, and it won’t be the last! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the Hill Country, close to all the best shopping and fun spots like Wimberley. After a fun day out, coming back to this clean, fresh, and super cozy home was just what I needed. The host was also kind enough to offer a late checkout, which was such a nice bonus. I seriously can’t recommend this place enough—already looking forward to my next stay!

We had a great stay! Everything was just as stated in the description..maybe better! The pool area is so nice, and the hot tub was perfect. We did encounter a few critters but I would say that's expected given the surroundings. Definitely make sure you wear sandals around the pool area .I almost stepped on a scorpion! We loved EVERYTHING about this place and would definitely come back and stay again.

Oh my goodness, Burning Creek was a dream! From 15 to 73, we all loved it. It was the perfect place to celebrate not one, but two birthdays! (Our family of 6 included 3 generations, and mom and son share a birthday.) It was also the perfect location to visit Texas Tubes for tubing, Wimberly for a romantic anniversary dinner, and the outlet mall. We loved our starlit swims and late night chats by the beautiful pool. We hope to come back soon!

We loved our stay here! The house was gorgeous & was everything we needed for anniversary getaway. The hot tub was great, and we loved playing shuffleboard & just relaxing on the couches. Joseph checked in with us to see if we need anything & was extremely helpful. We can’t wait to come back!!!
