Cottage holiday rentals in San Antonio River

Don and Lisel were great hosts and very accommodating to our requests. I would stay here again. Cute, vintage house that matched the listing. Location is great. Within 10 minutes, we were at the Riverwalk center.

We had a great time, Tom was quick to respond when we were booking, the place was great, brought our dogs and had a really nice time. Right on the water and we had fun fishing from the lower level of the yard. Great outdoor grill and dinning area. Would stay again. Location was great and very convenient to everything.

Very beautiful area, it was always quiet and peaceful you really only hear the birds. Everything was clean and very cute interior, very homey.

I really enjoyed the stay for my sister’s birthday! We were able to float the river that was right down the road about 5-10 minutes away! The kitchen was beautiful and very nice to cook in! We really loved the backyard, as we utilized the hot tub and projector! Everything was really clean too! Definitely recommend!

The cottage was very clean and perfect for our family. Our host was very sweet and eager to make sure we had a great time. Highly recommend and would definitely start there again.

As I sit here and write this review I'm comparing my pictures that I took to the pictures of the rental and the more disappointed I'm getting. The pictures are nothing like what is shown for outside. The inside of the house was awesome. As for outside the grass was overgrown. The number of chairs that are shown was way less. Not to mention of the two chairs one was broke. Luckily we brought our own chairs. No corn was provided for the deer. I did reach out about the corn and was told it was in the pantry, but there wasn't any there. If you are not going to enjoy the outdoors and plan on staying inside this house is perfect. I wish there was a way to provide my pictures for reference.

This is a great spot for large groups that don’t want to stay under the same roof. The area is beautiful and well kept. Perfect for families and kids or adults wanting to relive sleep away camp. The fenced in dog park is perfect for the fur babies. We will absolutely be returning!

We came to Bandera for the bike rally and had a fantastic time. Our host was very accommodating as we needed to arrive a day early due to forecasted bad weather. The house was occupied the night before. Lindsay was able to get the house for us early as requested! Plenty of things to do and food to eat within walking distance and only 2 miles from the park that held the rally! I would recommend this property to anyone in the future. Also the locals are very friendly! The next door Nieghbor even offered to let us hang out under his canopy on main street to watch the bikes go by! Really cool place and friendly atmosphere!!

This was a perfect spot, especially for a solo traveler! Had everything I needed, at a convenient location, privacy, great amenities, and easy instructions. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the time and will come back if I am in the area!

Silvio’s place was really awesome! We were visiting for a BMT graduation & being able to stay around the lake & make the ~1 hour commute to Lackland was worth it. The lake has lots to do around it & landscape is breathtaking. Silvio gave us a huge, detailed list of recommendations as well, which we were really thankful for! Very clean & felt right at home. Check-in was super easy. This spot is convenient if you are interested in both San Antonio & Austin, as it is a perfect halfway point between the two. Also, the beds were SO comfortable! If we return to this area of Texas again, we will definitely be booking Silvio’s place!

Super cute rental that was just the right size for two people! Comfortable bed, clean linens, well equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. The host also had an awesome local guide for grocery, restaurants, and things to do. Very nice touch! The place is also pretty close to everything in San Antonio, including River Walk and the Alamodome.

Extremely clean, perfect match to the description, Carlos is very responsive! Will be staying here again when in town!

Loved our stay here! It was so cozy and beautiful view every morning. The hosts were so friendly providing recommendations and helpful tips. T’s kitchen is a couple minutes away and the best Pho I’ve had in Texas. Would for sure stay here again!

Such an amazing little gem tucked in the woods! My favorite part was that there were so many deer hanging around the area and it was so peaceful and serene. The lights that turn on at night outside make it seem like a place out of a movie scene. Very responsive and thoughtful hosts!

The house was perfect for what we needed to do around the area.. roomy home for 5 .. good layout.. Jimmy was very friendly and attentive..

Everything was as described, including the low water levels. The (adult) kids had a good time will the adults spent the weekend just relaxing. Very quiet and serene. Definitely will come back when some water time can be had.

Shannon’s lake house was a great choice for our weekend plans! He was extremely helpful and informative of the area and surrounding businesses. It was very peaceful and relaxing. Although the lake has got down we still enjoyed the views from the wrap around porch and porch swing. We will definitely book again with Shannon at the the house! Great family weekend getaway with a great price!

This place is awesome for a quiet and cozy getaway! It was clean and well put together. Rosangely's customer service was impeccable. She answered the phone late at night when I had a question and was very kind and attentive. The house is directly on the beach, which was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!
