Raine’s cottage is darling. Well appointed, comfortable and clean. The location is ideal for walks to the local Peconic Bay beach just across the road. Founders Landing Park states no dogs allowed however the beach access just up the road on Town Harbor is totally dog friendly! Early morning and evenings everything is fair game. If your interest is to explore other beaches by car (there are several stunning locations on the Bay and Sound) invest in a leasers beach permit which Raine can help you with at a cost of $100. Note the parking violation for parking on town beaches without a permit is $100! So well worth the initial investment. Walk to Main Rd (25) for coffee and food! A handful of really good spots. Favorite coffee- Northfork Roasting Co., Founders Tavern, Wayside Market, and the Country View Farm Stand! Favorite sunsets on the sound for sure- 67 Steps Beach, Low Tide Beach Bar at Soundview and the road to Orient Beach State Park… so many more!

Had a wonderful stay at Edward and Tracey’s place! Incredible lot and view of the water. Dock has a floating portion to ease access during low/high tide. Very private, nice quiet and secluded location. But also quite close to IGA (grocery), activities, and other local points of interest. House has lots of charm and had everything we needed for a multi-week stay. A great home base for your shelter island adventures! Thank you Edward and Tracey for your amazing hospitality! Would not hesitate to return to this special place.

The place is exactly as described and looks like the photos but more beautiful in real life. The house is an incredible value and the location is wonderful. Everyone room has water views and the place is kept pristine.

I have a lovely time at this charming home. It was exactly as pictured and advertised. The home is warm and inviting and I was very comfortable throughout my stay. The backyard has a beautiful view of a lake. I spent quite a bit of time on the rear deck reading and getting distracted by that view. Locally there is Greenport Village, Orient Point State Park and Inlet County Park to name a few of my favorite outings. Thank you to my host for being so responsive when I called with a minor issue one late evening. I hope to return for another stay one day in the future.
