Nature eco lodge holiday rentals in Puntarenas Province

The place is the most central spot to stay in Pavones. You can literally jump into the water. Moshe is super friendly and helped me with every need I had! Thank you.

Words will never do this place justice. Both the lodge itself and the surroundings are stunningly beautiful. The pictures give a slight impression, but the place must be experienced to really understand the beauty of this place. The cabins are placed up on a hill with an amazing view over the jungle and the ocean. Macaws are flying over you all day. Coatis, tapirs, agutis and monkeys cross the grounds and nature trails are plentiful. We did a trek into Corcovado through la Leona gateway which was well worth it. Way less crowded than la Sirena and the scenery is incredible. I also took some yoga classes while I was there. The yoga itself was great and the cherry on the top was 8 macaws settling into a tree right in front of the yoga platform during class. We were also really pampered with delicious food and smoothies. We got there by cab which took something like 1 h 45 m each way. On the way there the driver spotted loads of animals for us. I’m so grateful for the whole experience.

Nice and cheap place right next to the national park. You Can see monkeys and tucans from the window. We recommend this place!

If you’re looking for a version of Costa Rican river living this is it. Affordable with an extremely attentive owner and staff. We especially enjoyed our kayaking and hiking trips. Thank you, Carlos!

Great place to stay in Drake Bay! Super peaceful - perfect if you want to relax and enjoy the nature around. The cabin is surrounded by trees, and we spotted toucans, iguanas, even some macaws right from the terrace, which was amazing. The host is really kind and takes great care of the guests. You’ve got everything you need here. There's even a washing machine and a spin dryer, which is super useful in this humid part of Costa Rica. If you're coming to Drake, this place is a great choice.

Everything was very nicely furnished and, above all, in the evening we had a very nice atmosphere. The price was fair. There was only a misunderstanding with the washing machine, where 10 dollars is a common price for laundry. Thank You!

We used Vistadrakelodge to stay in Drake Bay on our way to and from an overnight trip to Corcovado Preserve. We stayed a relaxed extra day after, swinging in the hammocks on the deck overlooking the sea. It had lovely views of the sea, birds and monkeys in its gardens and trees. And much enjoyed air conditioning! Emilio was great, met us at the boat from Sierpe to take us up the short hill from the beach, even though it would have been an easy 5 minute walk. He offered to take us to his farm to walk in nature but we were too tired to take the offer. Breakfast was hearty and delicious. He can also help arrange local boat tours and arranged our return trip back to Sierpe. Easy walk to several restaurants in town and the beach.

Jon's place was a dream. The apartment is beautiful, nestled in gardens in the jungle. The location is so scenic, with an incredible view of the ocean from the deck. There's a lovely yoga shala that we loved practicing in. The kitchen is well stocked, and we loved cooking every night. The bedroom, bathrooms and whole house is very clean. We felt right at home. Jon is a welcoming, kind and fantastic host. He let us use the yoga shala and deck as much as we wanted, and even gave us rides into town when he could. We felt very safe and comfortable, which was a big deal to my partner and I, as we are a queer couple. We already miss our new friend! The apartment is located about 45 minutes up a steep mountain road. I didn't read the listing carefully, so I thought it was a bit closer to the beaches of Dominicalito. Even with the blisters from all the walking, we had absolutely no regrets though! We just wished we'd rented a car. Learn from us 😂

Road was rough—we made it up without a 4x4…at night..after a day of rain…but I was holding my breath the whole time. I would recommend either arriving during the day or just get the 4x4. Breakfast was included and there is an incredible natural pool with a waterfall next to the river. The view from the cabin was fantastic. The cabin however does turn into a greenhouse during the day so don’t plan to hang out in there when the sun is up. This was our favorite stay and we visited places all over the country.

I loved my stay at Caribe Town, Karilily & Joel and their family are great, as were the staff members Aline and Laetitia. I very much enjoyed the daily breakfast and loved the pool plus all the nearby amenities. It was a top experience and a homely stay at the same time. Many thanks especially to Aline for being so wonderful!

Rodolfo's cottage and property are right by Cahuita Park. Even before you arrive, you get a lot of information about where. Arrived, his girlfriend and Manfred & Luna (his dogs) greeted us. Everything was very nice and you should know that they sleep right in the jungle! Howler monkeys, sloths and insects incl. The breakfast was always homemade, typical of the country and fresh - Rodolfo likes to surprise his guests. The coffee is just delicious and as much as you can... You also have privacy, Rodolfo sleeps 50m further in your own house and is around the house from time to time. If not, he's on tour because he's a guide; which we didn't know before. You should take a canoe trip on the river or a night hike through its extensive property. All in all a perfect place to immediately enjoy nature in the Caribbean. Pura Vida

I found the Corcovado Beach Lodge on other hotel booking sites, but various reviews said to pay in cash at check-in, so I booked through AirBnB so I wouldn't have to deal with the payment upon arrival. There wasn't much communication like other AirBnB lodging experiences, but it was okay because it is a hotel. It is a gorgeous location and our private cabin was perfect for two nights in Puerto Jimenez. It was easy to walk to the pier or into town for dinner. We loved seeing the incredible birds and wildlife right outside our door.

very nice guesthouse with large common areas open to the vegetarion, bedroom overlooking the very nice forest with its terrace and outdoor shower, and close to everything , great stay thank you Christian (and thank you also to the howler monkeys, who allowed us to start the days early! )

The cabin is in a small and laidback resort. There is a yoga shala, and the staff can help with booking tours and more. The location is very remote (twenty minute walk on the beach), so it's adviced to pack light. It's also a beautiful place, with a big private beach but also in the jungle. We observed all kinds of animals, including macaws and monkeys. There are no nearby restaurants, but there are meals in the resort at extra cost. All in all a great place, and we would have loved to stay longer if we could.

A very amazing place with great weather to experience sleeping in a cabin

Exceptional place. Nature is really beautiful. You can see all kinds of animals, plants, and flowers from the cabin. This is a full-fledged experience you're not about to forget! Very good restaurants nearby. Not to be missed!

Kayaks were amazing. Little rough to access, but very private. Wifi is not the best, but the nature, pool, lake and beach are a better option.
