Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Puntarenas Province

Sarah’s place is amazing, we will definitely be back. This house has oceanfront views, a beautiful yard and a great pool to make our stay very relaxing and peaceful! We saw macaws, a variety of birds, iguanas, lizards, coati’s and a mama sloth that the kids would run and try to spot every morning. The property manager was so friendly and helpful and would crack coconuts for us and spot the sloth when we couldn’t find her. Sarah would check in and see if we needed anything. She has a book at the house with wonderful recommendations of things to do in the area and places to visit that were reasonably close! We ate at Coquito’s frequently. They are the nicest restaurant owners with amazing food! We loved swimming in the pool and ocean every day. We enjoyed our daily beach strolls and didn’t feel like leaving much because of how peaceful and quiet Zancudo is, especially at Sarah’s place! I can’t say enough good things about this place, especially if you are looking for a relaxing getaway!

This Airbnb was amazing with a spectacular view. The house was well organized and clean. If you’re looking for a secluded stay with beautiful scenery then look no further. I loved the floor plan of the house and how the master bedroom, master bathroom and living room all had glass doors that could open to allow guest to view the backyard, mountains, and ocean. The only thing I would like to make future guest aware of is the road to the house. If you’re renting a vehicle make sure that it is four wheel drive and be prepared to handle the terrain. All in all 10/10 stay.

Barbara and Johns place exceed our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice it was truly beautiful. They were also amazing hosts and went above and beyond to help make our stay very special. I would heavily recommend staying here and with this host! Barbara gave many great recommendations and even helped my boyfriend (now fiancée) plan a surprise proposal at the local beach! This was truly a trip to remember and the beautiful house and amazing hosts made our stay even more incredible.

Chris is the Man! For context, my girlfriend and I had another bnb in the area that lost power and water for 2 days! I had to book an emergency stay and Chris accommodated and responded swiftly even though it was very short notice. We fell more in love with his property than our original one lol. 10/10 stay loved the vibezz.

Uvita This place is stunning! It's up in the hills of the jungle and super quiet. This modern home was gorgeous and immaculate and had everything we needed. The art work and the attention to detail was amazing! They left a bottle of wine, a beautiful fruit basket, homemade ravioli and complimentary T-shirts, wow and thank you! All the glass windows constantly remind you that you are in the jungle and to slow down, what an amazing space! The owner and hosts are super friendly and responsive and a pleasure to work with. Our trip was cut a little short and hope I get an opportunity to come back and soak it all in.

It was amazing experience

This place is a treasure. I traveled solo and had a wonderful stay. I had a surf lesson very locally and it's close to lots of other activities and you can explore the centre of Jaco on foot very easily too! Really just minutes from the beach, but the place feels, calm and tranquil due to a stunning well designed entrance and garden. And it also feels safe, and very secure and private. We really enjoyed the stay, it was in an excellent location, it is very safe, nice and comfortable. We loved how they take care of every detail of the house. In addition, communication was excellent from the beginning. It's definitely a place we'd love to return to!

My time in Costa Rica was great but what made it the best experience was my Airbnb with Leidy she was absolutely amazing the entire way and very helpful and communicative. I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Costa Rica! The property was immaculately clean and pristine, which made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The location was perfect close to everything I needed yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind. The front office staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always greeting me with a smile and offering assistance when needed. Perfect accommodation for arrival/departure, about 5 minutes by Uber to the airport. The apartment has everything you need, we were very satisfied.

Vera was recommended to us by our relocation team, whom we have hired to help us move. She has been in Costa Rica a long time and gave us some incredible advice and went out of her way to make us feel right at home 🏡

David was more than helpful with an easy early check in, and he sent an amazing list of things to prepare for, local recommendations and places to see along with some to avoid. His communication was clear, helpful, and very responsive. it was a pleasure to use his space during my trip.

This place was perfect! Javier and his wife were so helpful with absolutely everything. From the moment we got there he showed us around the whole property, told us about all the things we could get up to in tamarindo and they were so responsive! This place is exactly as described, inside the dome was beautiful! The decor and just the layout of everything, the AC was also a huge plus. If you want to see monkeys up close this is the place! Although they were howlers and a bit loud. It was absolutely amazing being high in the trees right next to them! I definitely recommend this place if you want something a bit more private and adventurous.

This condo was exceptionally clean with a beautiful view. It was a very brief walk to the Main Street. Everything was literally five minute walk. They are picky with who they host (with good reason) because of how pristine it is. Thank you :)

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb. We were celebrating a momentous occasion, and the host left a delicious bottle of champagne along with fresh fruit. This was such a special touch and helped to make our stay even that much more enjoyable. The place was clean and looked exactly like the photos. The beach view was the wonderful cherry on top! The host was very responsive to all of my questions and inquiries. I definitely recommend this Airbnb to others, as it was a lovely experience for us. Sending a big thanks to the host!

I stayed here for a month and absolutely loved it. The studio space is compact but has everything you need. It’s on the 28 floor with wonderful views over the city. The real beauty of the building though is the top floor (29) that has incredible shared amenity spaces. The coworking space is perfect. Very fast connection and lots of room to spread out, I’m an architect and had multiple monitors set up. The shared living room and other spaces were so relaxing. I felt like I was at home, but in a wonderfully luxurious space. The other residents were open and generous and quickly became friends who I will remain in contact with. I was sad to leave and will definitely be back.

Beautiful apartment and beautiful views of the city especially at night. Not having AC wasn't even a problem there are plenty of fans and windows with a cool breeze coming in from being up to high.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. My fiance and I had the best stay ever! It’s conveniently close to the beach and restaurants. The pool is great and the condo was always clean. I really appreciated the hosts willingness and ability to accommodate for both early check in and late check out. We will definitely be coming back!
