Apartment holiday rentals in Puntarenas Province

This place was absolutely great! The apartment was beautifully designed, very clean, and had everything we needed. The pool area was peaceful and perfect for relaxing, surrounded by nature and with an amazing view. We felt totally at ease and enjoyed every minute.

I couldn’t be happier with this Airbnb!! My husband and I booked Brian & Karla’s Casita for a week to enjoy our honeymoon. I wish we’d booked it even longer. This place has a way of making you feel completely unplugged from society, all the while being as modern as it gets. Pictures don’t do it justice! The wrap around balcony was perfect for evening sunsets, and the inside of the Casita was a perfect place to relax after adventuring Costa Rica. The Casita is a short drive down the mountain to Dominical, which has tons of local restaurants - Brian’s recommendations were spot on! You are also super close to Nuayaca Waterfalls, Uvita, and Manuel Antonio! Brian is an amazing host and quickly responded whenever we had questions. Him and his wife even made us dinner one night. We highly recommend this airbnb and we would book at Brian’s 1000x over! Pura Vida

what a place, the location is breathtaking, the house is beautiful down to the very last of details, the pool is sparkling and serene, and the host is always there, knowledgeable, kind, ready to help and recommend and knows the area so we'll. this place is highly recommended, do yourself a favour and enjoy it

We stayed in 12 places across Costa Rica and this is by far the most beautiful, well thought-out place we have stayed in. You can tell that the owners wanted to make a good investment with comfort and pleasure for the guests in mind. Many other ‘luxury’ stays we went to, cut corners on materials and quality but this was just in an other universe. Many thanks Sophia!

The accommodations exceeded my expectations

This Airbnb location was perfect! It was private but close to the beach and other attractions, such as national parks. It was clean, cozy and had everything you would need. The jacuzzi was an added bonus that is just what you need after a day full of adventure. I would highly recommend staying at this location if you are visiting Costa Rica!

The place was beautiful, and although it looked great in the photos, in person it is much more. The area is very quiet and the amenities of the suite are very useful and enjoyable, in addition to the fact that there are very good restaurants around (I highly recommend the nearby pizza restaurant), the only aspect is that perhaps the gates require more oil to go up or down faster, but it did not affect the stay at all. Highly recommended and I would definitely go again.

Very nice place with lots of amenities. the bed does seem like a full size but more an xl twin, 2 people might have difficulty sleeping in it. the view from the porch is spectacular. You do have to climb a lot of steps to get to the place. Also, its halfway between the beach and 'town' so if you don't have a car, its a lit if steep climbing. It's a very charming place.

We had a great time at Tamar and Alberto's place. The apartment is very well-equipped. Tamar, Alberto and their family are extremely friendly and generous, they have taken great care of us. Their restaurant is delicious, we went to eat there several times and enjoyed each time. We also booked them a kayaking activity in the mangrove, it was absolutely great. The accommodation is a short walk from a very cute beach and mangrove and is surrounded by incredible fauna and flora. We had trouble leaving this place at the end of our stay because we were so good!

Very responsive host. Easy checkin. One of the best features is you do not have to worry about your car at all. It is in a private gated community with a 24/7 guard. It is not right in the center of Jaco where all the loud and noisy bars are but it’s close enough to easily walk to them if you wanted to. Right across the street is a liquor store and there is also a coffee shop in the same block. A grocery store as well. Very well located.

Needed a place to stay with a short notice and thankfully this place I stayed in before was available. And with no problem I could show up and just enter. Super easy checkin and access. Thank you so much David!

Definitely coming back here! This was such a beautiful and unique spot, perfect for my husband & I’s surf trip in Pavones. It’s a short drive from the famous break and this place is so cute, we enjoyed hanging out at the air bnb a lot as well. They even have their own coffee shop called Bodega right in front of our stay, and it’s a quaint little surfers hangout spot with coffees and smoothies, definitely looked forward to that after a day of surfing! The owners were also incredibly kind and helpful, teaching us about the area and where to surf.

Esperanza was a wonderful host! The spot was beautiful and only a 10 minute walk from Playa Pelada. Would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was spotless and exactly as described, with a beautiful view and excellent security. The location was ideal—within walking distance of several great restaurants and local spots. The neighborhood felt very safe, and Kayla was an outstanding host—super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our favorite stay in Costa Rica. It was extremely comfortable, clean and we just felt right at home every time we walked in! A huge plus is that the apartment can be fully closed off, which was a nice change from our other stays in CR where places were more open to insects and such. The pool was very nice to have especially with the larger waves at the beach nearby. We highly, highly recommend it!

I loved the apartment! All the necessary amenities and the privacy was excellent

My husband, three-teenaged kids, and I had an amazing stay here! The condo is a great location close to the main strip for restaurants, shopping, groceries. The resort is well kept and the pool is top tier. The view from the balcony is breathtaking! The condo has washer/dryer and A/C which was necessary for our family of five. Communication with host was easy. We had an issue with water leaking from master BR’s A/C unit and Phil immediately had the issue rectified. We rented a car and drove from SJO airport, and we are so glad we did! Getting around is easier with the Waze app. It took us about 2 hours to get from SJO to condo due to afternoon traffic and about 1 hour and 15 minutes for return to airport in the early morning with less traffic. We give our stay at Anik and Phil’s a strong five star!!

The place was impeccable, the place was extremely quiet and cozy, I was there for a short time but it was worth it to rest.

The location is great, close to everything. I really liked the view from the room and from the pool. The only room for improvement is the bathroom. The shower is very y uncomfortable, you can't shower for long because the bathroom floor gets flooded and the shower has no door
