Amazing stay! Been to Golfito many times now and this was the favorite place I have stayed. Right across from Banana Bay restaurant/marina and walkable to other places for food/activities. Katie was very helpful in providing local recommendations and let us check-out a little bit late due to a boat tour we were doing that morning. When I'm back in Golfito this will be the first place I check for availability, very cozy, cute home :)

Una casa perfecta para viajar con niños, ya que su piscina es perfecta para que se bañen cuando la marea esta baja en la playa(rocas). Lugar idílico rodeado de monos y en frente de playa pan dulce perfecta ola para surfear con tu longboard. Mas que recomendable!volveremos!

This is a really wonderful space. Very close to the wave but away from the noise of the town centre with a huge and beautiful garden to relax in. House is clean and functional with everything you need. I hope to stay here again in the future

This truly is the best accommodation in Pavones. It was extremely close to the point, restaurants and the market. Additionally, it was very clean and well taken care of. Given how rural Pavones is, we were happy to have a kitchen to ourselves where we could cook a few meals a day. Which really is necessary to my mind. Andres was very welcoming and kind as were all the Pavones pups (as we called them). It was a magical place, and the Brahman Bungalows made it that much more magical for us.

If you are seeking immersion in nature and being in tune with natural cycles, this is the perfect place to slow down and just be. I loved waking up a little after 5am naturally as the light just started to break, hearing the sound of the waves and howler monkeys and cicadas. I could see the ocean from my unit, and it was nice to be able to walk along the beach or take a swim to cool off. The place looks exactly like the photos. My glamping unit was very clean and simple yet nicely decorated with plenty of shelves to put my belongings. It was so nice to have a fully equipped and pristine kitchen with plenty of space to store my food. I was delighted watching the monkeys every single day. There are many birds (hawks, scarlet maccaws). And a coati scampered right by me as I sat on my patio drinking coffee early one morning. The hosts are so nice and take very good care of the place, ensuring it remains a peaceful stay for everyone and is respectful of nature and wildlife.

Perfect stay near Cahuita! Beautiful, modern house equipped with everything that you need. We could check in even tho we were there an hour early. Host was always responsive, helpful and really friendly

Elena es un amor, ha estado pendiente de nosotros todo el tiempo, facilitando la llegada y aconsejándonos en todo momento. La casa es muy especial, limpia y en un lugar precioso. El primer día pasaron por delante del jardín una familia de monos aulladores que nos impresionó. En el jardín hay un montón de mariposas y colibrís. Gracias Elena por hacernos sentirnos tan bien.

Our time at Favela Chic although short was truly great and perfect for what we needed it for! We enjoyed how private the space was and that it was spacious enough for a couple. We thought the pictures and the location looked the same and liked that the location is private enough away from noise, but close enough to everything ! The host were great and extremely responsive which we appreciated. Their recommendations were some of the places we had listed prior to our stay, which helped us feel more confident in our decision to eat there and they were all great. We would definitely recommend staying at Favela Chic.

This was my 8th visit to Pavones and by far my favorite accommodations. I can't say enough good things from the incredible hostess to the paradise like beach bungalow in a peaceful, tranquil lush setting steps to the beach down a little magical feeling road. Most of all the energy of the bungalow is so relaxing and a place to get away from it all. I will most definitely return again and again and again:) I can't wait!
