I loved the place! really peaceful with beautiful gardens. It rained a lot, but that's tje Caribbean in CR. The place is really closed to restaurants and beaches. You can go by car or bike. The kitchen has the necessary. I will come back definitely

This is a truely unique experience! It was like living in an open air treehouse. It was an auditory feast. We SAW very little, but we HEARD a chorus of jungle species. Surprisingly few bugs came in but this place is for you if you are OK with that possibility. I really appreciated that the bedroom is a protected space. This place is located at the top of the hill with only one house above it so it is very private. It felt safe for parking and home security. Look for the tiny dart frogs right outside the house, orange ones & blue ones. Look for 2 trees with a stunning nursery for montezuma oropendula birds with 50+ nests at the intersection with the 'Tropical getaway' sign.

100% recommend staying here. It was absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. It was tucked back into the jungle where we could see and hear wild life but close enough to town. We rented ATVs for the week to get back and forth which made getting to the beaches and town a quick 5-10 minute ride. The hosts were absolutely amazing and attentive. They checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We truly felt at home and worry free. Thank you for an amazing experience! I will be looking forward to our next stay here and telling all our friends.😃

I had an incredible stay here - over a month. Great location - away from the town but walkable to everywhere. Bikes available which I used everyday. Paula was super nice and made me feel welcome. I will be back! Pura Vida 🙏
