We had a great stay at the cottage, perfectly suited for our family. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and ideally located about fifteen minutes' drive from La Rochelle, making it a perfect starting point for discovering the region and the island of Ré. Special mention for the pool, which the children loved! But above all, a big thank you to the hosts for their warm welcome, their availability and their great kindness. We would definitely recommend this listing!

Great stay in a great place. The air conditioning was a real plus with the heat when we came. The location to access the old town is ideal. We will definitely come back but rather in September because really a lot of people in August. Sarlat itself is a beautiful city with lots of stuff to do surrounding.

Beautiful location, lovely house with plenty of amenities in the kitchen. Fantastic pool, we were blessed with 30degrees in May so it had plenty of use. Gardens and Grounds are stunning, pictures don't do it justice. Also new TV in lounge with Netflix etc, which kept kids happy in the evenings too!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful retreat. Quiet in the middle of nature, at the same time close to the tourist places we wanted to visit in Dordogne (Sarlat 20 min away), the accommodation is very functional and pleasant, the bedding is also very comfortable. We mostly lived outside, by the beautiful infinity pool. Finally, Betty and her husband are unparalleled kindness, it was a pleasure to interact with them, we'll keep the address for future vacations 😊 thank you again!

An unforgettable stay ( we will come back) a wild and peaceful setting as if we were the house. Clear simple community rules adapted to everyone ( very important for sharing the premises ) There is no shopping mall nearby so don't come to go shopping! (Board games provided on-site ) Some nearby internet activities will help you. I hope the host was happy with our presence as well as it's very important that it works in the 2 senses😊😘. Looking forward to coming back so not all book at the same time

This is the best gite we have stayed in in France. the gite was spacious and clean and the pool was perfect for entertaining two children. the troglodyte caves were brilliant, lots of table tennis played! communication with diane was very straightforward and she was very friendly and knowledgeable of the local area.

We highly recommend the accommodation offered by Christine. It is a haven of peace in the heart of nature! You will be quiet and surrounded by greenery. We'll definitely be back!!

What a pleasant surprise, better than the photos and comments. Nothing is missing, even your 1st meal is in the refrigerator! You feel really good at the Grange aux livres, there are many nice details that you will discover over the days... Sophie is very welcoming, human and caring. One of our most beautiful Airbnb experiences, a little heartache when leaving this beautiful and peaceful place. Do not hesitate if you are looking for calm, countryside and birdsong.

The house is very nice and matches the photos. The bedding is comfortable, the environment was quiet and ideal for the different walks on the island.

We had a great time at Annie's place. The accommodation is very clean, pleasant, very well equipped and very well arranged. The small outdoor area is quiet, sheltered from view and fenced (great for our dog who was able to enjoy it!). In addition, the box is a real plus for parking without having to search. Annie is a very friendly host, very accessible and who is concerned with hosting us in the best conditions (thank you again for lending us the crib and high chair!). We had chosen ‘Le Manoir’ for its setting and decoration ‘So British’ We weren't disappointed! On the contrary, we immediately felt good in our vacation home. Thanks in particular to the details (old beds but excellent bedding) very well equipped kitchen and what about the grandiose bathroom!!!! We only have one small downside: the dishes for 6 people are a little fair. Scottie's hospitality and responsiveness as well as Kerstie live up to the place.

A small but well-appointed accommodation, a very pleasant outdoor dining area, welcoming and considerate hosts while remaining discreet and a very well-maintained pool with the possibility of parking your car near the accommodation. In short, a pleasant stay.

Great welcome! We enjoyed the little touches on our arrival. The cottage is faithful to its description, there is everything you need. A little plus, the pool, which was still cool but pleasant given the heat.
