Charlotte and Jérôme are very welcoming and available, everything is designed to make you feel good, the rental is very functional! Convenient self check-in and self check-out. The setting is very pleasant, no vis-à-vis or noise. The house is perfectly clean, the bedding comfortable. Very good stay, I recommend it!

Quiet stay in the countryside with background music, river singing. Great for stays in a large tribe. The house is spacious, very well equipped, moreover with taste. Nothing is missing and Tony and his wife are very friendly, available and attentive. Canoes allow a safe walk to discover the environment for all ages.

An excellent weekend spent in this beautiful accommodation. Matches the photos and descriptions, even beyond expectations, it seemed bigger than in the photos, very positive. Clean place where we felt at home: cozy, cocooning and warm. A beautiful exterior for breakfast and other meals outside. A big thank you to Audrey for her exchanges and availability. We highly recommend the house. The kitchen is well equipped, the house is spacious and you feel comfortable. The garden is very shady, which was perfect in the heat. Unfortunately, the street noise is a bit annoying, and the beautiful large trees cannot quite reduce it. For it was still a perfect place. William is also very friendly and helpful!

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! A fairytale house in a gorgeous location, maintaining the traditional features of a classic French farmhouse.

Ile de Ré is definitely an expensive destination, but well worth it! I recommend visiting outside of August if possible, as it can be quite busy and prices tend to be higher. We were very lucky with the weather during our stay — it was unusually hot and humid. Keep in mind that the house does not have air conditioning or fans. I mentioned this to Didier, the fabulous host, and he has since purchased fans for the house, which is much appreciated! The location is perfect for families and friends, allowing everyone to enjoy their preferred activities: biking, relaxing at the beach, or shopping in the charming local stores of La Couarde.

beautiful peaceful place accompanied by the croaking of frogs and the jumps of carp...a treat...the spa with an overwhelming heat a real delight... on the other hand disappointed not to be able to lock the door, the sofa really not comfortable even if we spent our time outside the cottage, the duvet with a lot of stains...without these small downsides, the stay was idyllic, the region is waiting to be discovered!!! very discreet and welcoming owners

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

The loveliest airbnb we’ve ever stayed at!! The owners are so accommodating and their cats and dogs are so sweet. The views are incredible and the gite was perfect- had everything we needed even coffee and every kitchen utensil you could think of! There’s also a BBQ you can use if you’d like. The pool was perfect for the heatwave (and the aircon!) and so tranquil. There’s a book in the room that the hosts have put together with info about local attractions and recommendations that was very helpful! If you want a peaceful get away, it doesn’t get much better than this!

Small charming mas, with everything you need. Impeccable bedding, clean. Jean Marie was very nice and helpful with superb attentions. Breakfast at the top. Pleasantly surprised. We recommend it without hesitation.

Great places to discover the region. Lots of activities in the area. Impeccable, warm, and quiet accommodation. The pool and hot tub are a plus. The host is very responsive, welcoming and warm. Absolutely amazing place, tastefully decorated, in an exceptional village. A lot of effort has been put into decorating, where well-being is. Being by the water with this view is just unimaginable. Just missing an oven (on the wall above the plates , my 2 cents) and a curtain in the room (hanging on the wall with rings, my 2 cents again). Truly an awesome experience.

A fantastic appartement with gorgeous views and everything as described! The location can’t be beaten right in the centre and the balcony is gorgeous. I was nervous about there only being a sofa bed but it was a pretty comfy one. There is a very very noisy bar underneath the apartment which is annoying when it’s hot and you need to leave the windows open. The fan helped! Overall I think it’s a great apartment for a few nights and great value.

I would not hesitate to recommend staying here. The house is immaculate, ideally position closed to the town, market, shops car parking and bike rental which are all walkable. The house is very tastefully furnished and the kitchen has everything we needed during our stay. The bed was super comfortable and very big. The host provided an excellent digital reference book prior to arrival with details of everything we needed to know. Our trip to the Ile de Re was the highlight of our recent French holiday. The island is beautiful and best explored by bicycle (imo) as some of the beauty cannot be seen from the roads, such as oyster bars overlooking the sea along one of the bike paths. Definitely worth going. Thank you Kevin for a wonderful stay. You could not have been more helpful.
