Smoking friendly holiday rentals in Poitou-Charentes

Jacques was so accommodating when we had a delayed arrival. He even sent his son over when we needed sheets for the sofa bed when he was out of town. He lives in the building so he takes good care of everything in this beautiful old building. The apartment is central but quiet. The first night we took the tram but every other trip (St. Emilion and Arcachon) we just walked to the train station to see the city. Excellent boulangerie right next door, La Fabrique.

Ideal accommodation for two, very well located 200 m from the shops, parking right next door is a real plus. The accommodation is impeccable and very well arranged The small terrace allows you to eat outside when the weather permits

a little piece of paradise, we only stayed a few days but we leave with a feeling of a very relaxing vacation. Quiet and beautiful environment, charming and available hosts. I recommend it 400%. Everything was wonderfully perfect.

We had a great time and a good stay in La Rochelle. The accommodation is very quiet and very close to the market and shopping streets. It's very spacious and well-equipped, it's perfect with a very good welcome from Sandra. Bikes are available to take you further, knowing that the entire city center is pedestrian. Just one downside for which the owner Sandra is not responsible, parking as in many cities but we were well advised to overcome this, places are free in the street of the accommodation only on Saturday from 6:30 p.m. and Sunday. Very pleasant stay in François' beautiful villa, tastefully decorated, very well equipped, with a superb quiet terrace and heated pool. I highly recommend it, ideal for a family stay where young and old have fun at will.

Wedding weekend at the Château de Brie (if you are sightseeing in the area, this beautiful estate is worth visiting) we enjoyed our few hours of rest in Jeannette's very peaceful little house. We couldn't meet but we had very good exchanges with Jeannette to prepare for our arrival.

Absolutely loved our stay at the 'Farm house '..... beautiful surroundings, enveloped in a gorgeous sense of French countryside...loved hearing the rural sounds, brought a real sense of contentment. Claire was the perfect host, dealt with any issues immediately and when I needed to change my hire car booking, she was able to assist with the French speaking agent. Offered heaps of suggestions of places to see and specific restaurants to visit. We would go back again in a heartbeat. thanks Claire and team.

We had a very pleasant stay in this typical house ideally located in the center of Jard-sur-Mer. Angelique is very responsive and available, attentive to our needs, very good advice. As a bonus, gifts to welcome us: a local brioche and a bottle of wine!

Dominique was very welcoming and helped carry our bags up to the apartment. The apartment was nicely decorated and beds comfortable. The location was convenient for access to the old town and free parking nearby. We think our baby woke up the next door neighbour in the middle of the night, which we are sorry about 🫣 but we would stay again if Dominique would have us!

Very functional and very quiet apartment. It's very functional. Bus line 15 is 5 minutes away and Saint Jean train station (tram C) is a 15-minute walk away. The private parking space is an undeniable asset. And finally, Jérôme is a responsive and very friendly host.

The apartment is much more spacious than the pictures show! It has everything you need and is very tidy and comfortable. The host is very friendly and helped us check in easily. I recommend this spot if you are in the area.
