Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Myriam. Adapté pour les 10 personnes que l'on était. Belle et grande demeure familiale dans un bel environnement. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Wij konden verblijven in de « Rode Kamer », in het torengebouw. Een mooie grote kamer, zoals je van een kasteel kan verwachten. Prachtige uitzichten, midden in de natuur gelegen. Mooi groot zwembad. Zeer vriendelijke uitbater en kasteelheer. Je kon gewoon je ding doen. Alles kon, niets moest…. Een fijn vakantiegevoel.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and spacious wing of Ambe Tour Pourret. The Chatêau staff were on site every day to assist, host tours and suggest good walking routes into St Emilion, the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and we were delighted to be invited to the evening concert! In all, a wonderful stay in memorable surrounds - thank you! Would absolutely recommend!

We had a truly magical stay with friends, unforgettable evenings, themed dinner parties in medieval attire, birthday celebrations, and even an engagement in the stunning garden. Everyone who joined us said it was an incredible and unique experience!

The hosts are great! They are very helpfull and relaxt. Also the house is amazing. It really feels if you live in a castle. The area around is beautiful! I should defenitely recommend this stay!!

We had a lovely stay at Monique's place at the start of our holiday in Bordeaux. The location is great, a turn off a main road and you are in the private and peaceful grounds of the chateaux, with one side completely to yourself. Monique was very kind to our little daughter and helpful in providing a cot, bath and high chair to make things really easy for us. The grounds are lovely, with a little river running through nearby. The apartment is cosy and comfortable. This would be a great stay for anyone looking to do trips into Bordeaux or the surrounds and easily get back to a quiet sanctuary. A tip from me would be to drive to the Park and Ride at the Hippodrome rather than use the nearest one to the property - the angles there are very tight!

Un excellent séjour dans un site superbe et extrêmement relaxant - idéal pour un séjour en famille - Fabienne et son mari sont très sympathiques et développent un très beau projet.

This is honestly one of the best Airbnb's we've ever stayed in. A stunning, historic property in a beautiful, peaceful location, with elegant period furnishings which we love. We made meals in the small but well equipped kitchen and dined in the garden. Isabelle was a helpful, friendly host and we couldn't wish for more.

We will be back. Amazing host, perfect getaway for a group. 100% satisfaction! Highly recommended. Simon hosted a wine tasting which was incredible. The pool area is simply amazing.

My family and I had the most wonderful time staying here. The castle is full of history. The rooms are so comfortable and everything is in amazing condition. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

What needs to be said about staying in a chateau?! Incredible experience for our family, very cool to be able to stay somewhere people come to tour. We really liked it and found it quite comfortable. The suite was very large - like an entire home. The internet and cell reception were intermittent, so touching base back home or accomplishing any work was difficult/impossible. But the experience is something I can certainly recommend!

First and foremost Lucie and her parents Annick and Pierre are greats hosts and super lovely. They were helpful and so welcoming. Perfect communication and always there when we need them. The chateau was a dream- peaceful and beautiful not to mention super clean! Our stay there was amazing and it’s perfect for family’s. Won’t hesitate to return! Un endroit magnifique, tranquille, à proximité d'une ville qui gagne à être découverte. Le lieu est très paisible et reposant, et donne plutôt envie d'y rester pour lire un livre dans l'un es salons ou sauter dans la piscine plutôt qu'aller visiter Loches qui a tant à montrer. Les chambres sont grandes, bien aménagées et la literie est de très bonne qualité, ce qui, associé à la tranquillité du lieu, rajoute le repos au charme.

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour en famille dans le magnifique château de Jacques, qui est un hôte très sympathique et arrangeant et dont nous avons apprécié les délicates attentions. Le château est extrêmement agréable et adapté pour plusieurs familles, avec tout le nécessaire pour bien y vivre. Le terrain est très grand, splendide et d'une grande tranquilité. Table de pique nique, balade en forêt, piscine, nombreux espaces de jeux et jouets pour les enfants, et plusieurs terrasses pour manger à l'extérieur... Encore mieux que ce que nous avions imaginé sur les photos!

Absolutely beautiful place! The house and pool are gorgeous and so well-equipped. It's in a quiet location but there is a lovely small town 10 mins away. We would stay again!

Nous avons passé ,avec tous nos amis , de très bons moments hors du temps. Le château est magnifiquement décoré avec un " wouah " dans chaque pièce , rien n est laissé au hasard , tout est beau jusqu'à la vaisselle .Le cadre bucolique qui l entoure apporte une grande sérénité. Nous avons été accueilli par des personnes très sympathiques et disponibles . Nous garderons un super souvenir de ce bijou qui nous a permis le temps d un week-end de jouer au roi et à la reine. Je recommande ce logement sans aucun soucis

Le domaine et son jardin sont magnifiques, la piscine très agréable. Nous avons passé nos journées et nos soirées dehors, l’environnement étant tellement reposant et beau. Les chambres sont grandes et les salles de bains également, avec le charme de l’ancien. Balançoire, table de ping pong, barbecue, la maison est bien équipée pour les loisirs. Nous avons passé de supers moments et reviendrons sûrement ! Almodis était toujours réactive et disponible. Je recommande !

We absolutely loved our stay at Château Couffins! Nathalie is very responsive & ensured everything was prepared prior to our arrival. From the moment we drove up to the château, we knew we had arrived at a truly special place. It is located in a peaceful setting near the beautiful city of Bordeaux. Gabriel assisted us with our luggage upon arrival, gave us a tour of this historic family home, & shared several local restaurant recommendations. The château itself is breathtakingly beautiful. The bedrooms, as well as the living spaces, were both spacious & comfortable. We had the most wonderful time at Château Couffins & hope to visit again soon! If you are ever looking for a truly enchanting place to stay near Bordeaux, I highly recommend staying here.

We tried to come up with a bad review so we could keep the place our little secret... but we just really loved our stay with Keith and Anita. We went to stay at this lovely and charming chateau for a week and it was all that we hoped for. It is a great place to relax and unwind. We felt very welcome with such friendly hosts, who were always there to give tips for local restaurants, etc. We would love to come back there one day. Tip: we could recommend their homemade afternoon tea.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour chez Bruno et Veronique. Les hôtes étaient très accueillants et disponibles. Nous avons reçu de bons conseils pour visiter la ville et la région. De plus, l’hôtel particulier est exceptionnel. Nous avons reçu une visite du lieu très intéressante. La chambre correspondait à la description. Le lit était confortable. Le petit déjeuner très copieux. Bref, je recommande chaudement.

Absolutely stunning location and accommodation! Loved every minute of our stay and felt totally spoilt being able to use the pool and relax in the gardens whenever we wanted. Extremely friendly hosts, nothing was too much trouble. An excellent place to unwind. Highly recommended, we will be back!
