Holiday rentals with beach access in Podstrana

We were a family of 4. Boys aged 13 & 14. The property was plenty big enough for us all. 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. Open plan living & huge terrace. Nice sized pool & Boys loved playing ping pong! BBQ area great. Outside shower & washing machine was super handy! 5min walk to supermarket. 5min walk downhill to marina & bakery. 15-20min out of Split itself depending on traffic. We drove everywhere. Can recommend Fishing Mania charters for Tuna fishing. Drive to Omis for a nice day out too. Trogir & Murter also made good trips. Would recommend this property to my friends. “We had a fantastic stay at this place in Podstrana! The location is simply unbeatable – walking distance to the beach and very close to restaurants and supermarkets. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped, perfect for a relaxing holiday. We particularly liked the beautiful pool with the many sun loungers, where you can end the day wonderfully. The balconies were perfect for cozy evenings, and have a great view. Special praise goes to our host Petar, who was always friendly, helpful and responsive at all times. He supported us with all the questions and provided us with everything as soon as we asked. The stand out feature of Suzana and Tomislav's apartment has to be the most stunning view. Sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset was a favourite. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of seating for everyone both inside and outside and there were plentiful supplies of dishwasher tablets, washing machine pods and toilet rolls. They had also ensured there were basic cooking supplies of oil, salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar and they generously bought in pasta, biscuits, fruit juices, water, milk, coffee and beer ready for our arrival. We were also treated to a traditional home cooked 'peka'. The location is perfect for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of a town or city but still have restaurants and a beach. The property was on a very steep hill so we chose to drive every where but it was very easy to find parking. Although the apartment is below Suzana's mother's property, it remained totally private and we felt completely relaxed.

We have rent the appartment for 9 nights. We have sincerely appreciated to be here ! Everything was very clean and we received a delicious red wine as welcome gifted from Tanja's parents. The place is calm, the bedroom really confortable and the terrace is very large. We see the stars every night and sometimes shooting stars. What a pleasure ! Near the appartment, there is a small supermarket and another one, bigger, next to the beach. You can also eat food specialities on the beach. Also, Podstrana is really a charming place to discover : there is a lot of flowers, cats, local houses! A lot of things to see, especially if you like taking pictures :) The must for us was the location of the apartment : you are just 8-10 minutes from the beach by walking. Lovely property and facilities just as described. Frane was very helpful with clear instructions. Such a relaxing location and a very short stroll to the sea. We particularly liked the town of Omis which is a 10 minute drive away with beautiful scenery, restaurants, shops and activities like boat hire, rafting and quad bike rental at very reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend. The hosts were very kind and gave us a meat and cheese board whilst we were by the pool. We also had a lovely goody bag waiting for us when we departed. Simply perfect and I would not hesitate to return. Many thanks

nice little house and the pool is very good. All necessary toiletries, kitchen and linen are included. Kristian the son is very responsive and very kind. The house is next to a river. Shops nearby.

Mirko was always very nice and answered all my doubts, I guide me to get to the ferry on time:). The apartment has a small kitchen with a very useful refrigerator, a small dining room and ropes to hang clothes, what a great idea!. we would come by motorbike so we did not have any problem to mobilize, however if you do not have your own vehicle you should keep in mind that The lodging is 20 minutes (in cart) of split so you should check what is the best way to mobilize

A perfect Airbnb for our group of 9 . 3 very comfortable fully equipped apartments on ground floor, 2nd floor and 3rd (top) floor with amazing views of the sea and Brac. The garden is beautiful with lots of space to relax, sunbathe, read in the shade. The pool's temperature is perfect with outside shower and fun pool lights. Tina and husband cooked a huge, delicious Croatian meal for us one night. Thank you! A short walk, 10- 20 mins will get you to several local restaurants & beach bars. We loved Amigos in Podstrana that served amazing fish meals & Italian dishes. A short walk down the hill takes you to the local well stocked grocery store and across the road to beach. The walk back up is steep but good exercise. We enjoyed day trips to Hvar on the ferry, hired a private boat to take us all to local islands which was thrilling & a trip to the amazing Krka national park waterfalls. We used Uber/ Bolt- easy & reasonably priced ~€15 to get to Split & ~€35 to/from airport.

Wonderful stay right by the sea! We really enjoyed our stay in this house! We received a very warm welcome on arrival. We immediately felt welcome. Dado, the father of the family, greeted us with a culinary surprise and let us taste his incredibly good olive oil. The location is truly unique: right by the water, with a wonderful view from the balcony and from the house's separated terrace on the other side of the street. We always had breakfast and dinner there. A few steps lead directly down to the rocky jetty, from where you can swim in the crystal-clear sea. The bay of Stomorska is just a five-minute walk away. The village is really pretty, had a small well-stocked supermarket (with fresh bread/rolls) open in mid-April and a nice little cafe/bar. We really enjoyed our stay as a family, it was a great vacation for us in a very special location and with a very nice landlord. We can only warmly recommend the stay!

We had the great pleasure of spending a week at Dragana’s apartment, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking not only for a comfortable stay but also for true hospitality. Dragana was incredibly kind and helpful – she took care of every detail in the apartment (cleanliness, equipment, a cozy atmosphere), drove us around the city, showed us interesting places, and always made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything necessary – we truly felt at home. It was a wonderful experience, and we’re very grateful for such a warm welcome. Super nice and beautiful home, everything was clean. Supplies were provided. Not everything that was marked in the listing was present in, for example, the kitchen, but the most important things were there, at least we didn't really miss anything we needed. Nice quiet area, less than 1 minute walk from the beach and 2 supermarkets and a bakery less than a 5-minute walk on the road side. Split was about a 15-20 min. drive, if it wasn't busy on the road. Air conditioners work well! Very nice that we could borrow free beds and an umbrella on the beach, later even the large umbrella with the larger beds, really great! Really had a nice stay and sweet that you came to bring a bowl of grapes from the garden. We definitely recommend this stay to our friends and family.

This unit is just as described. They have renovated it very nicely and made good use of the space. Ivan was very helpful with all of our requests and gave us great information on what to see in Split and area.

It was a very good place to stay! Beautiful surroundings, close to a beach and with stores within walking distance. Bus connections to central Split was sufficient for our stay, although not the most frequent.

The apartment is a short walk into the heart of the old town in Split with a great view out onto the Adriatic. It is a good size space for 3/4 people with everything you could need. Klajdi was a great host. *Outside of the apartment is a construction site but this did not take away from the view nor did it impact our stay greatly.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay. It is a great location and we really had the chance to rest out. Trogir is walking distance and the beach was straight down the road. Klara our host, was helpful and always available to communicate with us. I can recommend to stay there.

Great comfortable apartment within walking distance of the beautiful city of Split.

We loved the vacation at the place. That was actually the cleanest Airbnb I've ever been to. The equipment is new and modern, everything necessary was available. Nearby there were a few restaurants and shops, the beach is also in approx. 5 minutes' walking distance. The contact with Anita and Zoran was extremely friendly, we were personally received. Checking out was also straightforward.

The Studio flat was really great with everything you need for a holiday. It is very close to Split airport so only 10 minuits by taxi. Enough distance so that there is hardly any aircraft noise. It is literally across the road from the beach. All the beaches have fine slightly sharp gravel so take beach shoes. The Island of Trogir is a 10 minuite bus journey ride away that stops practically outside the door. You can also easily bus to many little beaches with changing places and showers. There are Water sports, buses, water taxis close by and a ferry to Split. The host is really nice, always contactable, very helpful and full of local knowledge. I cannot recommend the wonderful host and her family enough in this perfect location.
