Waterfront holiday rentals in Podstrana

We enjoyed staying at Gorana's apartment. It is spacious, calm, clean and has everything you need. The view of the sea is amazing and the pebble beach is a few minutes' walk away. It is a 25 - 30 minute walk into town, but in return for that you get a quiet and peaceful environment. There are several good non-touristy places to eat within 10 - 15 minutes - the Skipper pizzeria, with great views of the marina, is particularly good. The Meštrovic Gallery and chapel are a few minutes' walk away and well worth a visit. Overall, a very nice place to stay on our first visit to Split.

Loved the place. The balcony is a wonderful place to have breakfast or a glass of wine. Beautiful view of the harbor. The location is a short walk from the central historic city but away from all of the noise that some of our friends who stayed in the center complained about. Dijana was very helpful and answered all of our questions. I would definitely stay here again!

I would highly recommend Davorka’s apartment! The apartment has everything that you need ! Davorka is lovely, she prepared sweets for kids and she was so nice with all of us !we will surly come back! Thank you for everything!

This apartment is a perfect location so all the bars/restaurants in Old Town but also not right in the chaos! The balcony is great and has a wonderful view of the bay - we had a great stay here!

Thank you for the lovely stay. It was very comfortable for our family of four. Darko was accommodating and helpful the entire time, including catching us before we left a bag behind and bringing it to us at the ferry! What a lovely host. The location is perfect -- easy access to the pedestrian zone, restaurants, the park. But not as busy as staying right in Old Town Split. There's a beach a 15 minute walk away which was also nice and easy to access.

It was a great stay. There were two of us and there was plenty of room. The apartment would also be well suited for four people. The sofa covers look a bit old-fashioned, but the sensational view of the sea and the large terrace with whirlpool makes you forget that immediately. The landlady was very accommodating and helpful. Ela’s place was great! Only a few minutes walk to the main part of town and some of the best views of the port. It was exactly as described, easy to check in and had good WiFi

This is the perfect place if you want to spend your time outside, relaxing in the beach just outside the front door. Toni gave us lots of tips, including recommending a rental car, without which getting to the airbnb would be challenging, and limit your freedom to explore.

We had a really great time at this property! From the beginning, Kristian, the son of the hostess, took very good care of us. He explained everything to us in detail and precisely, was always helpful, hospitable and made us feel at home. The atmosphere was wonderful – quiet, private and relaxed. We were able to enjoy the stay to the fullest, completely undisturbed and for ourselves. The accommodation was very clean and well equipped - everything you need as a traveler was there. The absolute highlight was of course the pool and the beautiful outdoor area, where you could relax perfectly. Whether in the morning or in the evening - the surroundings were simply fantastic. We are very happy that we booked this pool house. It was an unforgettable vacation that we would repeat at any time. Thank you for everything!

A perfect Airbnb for our group of 9 . 3 very comfortable fully equipped apartments on ground floor, 2nd floor and 3rd (top) floor with amazing views of the sea and Brac. The garden is beautiful with lots of space to relax, sunbathe, read in the shade. The pool's temperature is perfect with outside shower and fun pool lights. Tina and husband cooked a huge, delicious Croatian meal for us one night. Thank you! A short walk, 10- 20 mins will get you to several local restaurants & beach bars. We loved Amigos in Podstrana that served amazing fish meals & Italian dishes. A short walk down the hill takes you to the local well stocked grocery store and across the road to beach. The walk back up is steep but good exercise. We enjoyed day trips to Hvar on the ferry, hired a private boat to take us all to local islands which was thrilling & a trip to the amazing Krka national park waterfalls. We used Uber/ Bolt- easy & reasonably priced ~€15 to get to Split & ~€35 to/from airport.

Toni and his wife, Paula truly do open their home to guests as this is their home you are fortunate enough to rent which they vacate for the summer to share with visitors. It is clean and comfortable with two bathrooms and great showers and a washer where the sun dries your clothes! The location backs up to the water and a boardwalk which takes you into Old Town Trogir in 5 minutes and also puts you close to tour pick up locations and buses and markets and boat rides and beaches. Toni not only arranged for our transportation from another area of Croatia, but also waited for us outside his house even though it was late at night. He gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations and better than that, he prepared Peka for us, a traditional meal made in a stone oven in his gorgeous backyard where we could try anything that was ripe! He is a funny, generous host who made our experience memorable. Stay here when you travel to Trogir!

Wonderful stay right by the sea! We really enjoyed our stay in this house! We received a very warm welcome on arrival. We immediately felt welcome. Dado, the father of the family, greeted us with a culinary surprise and let us taste his incredibly good olive oil. The location is truly unique: right by the water, with a wonderful view from the balcony and from the house's separated terrace on the other side of the street. We always had breakfast and dinner there. A few steps lead directly down to the rocky jetty, from where you can swim in the crystal-clear sea. The bay of Stomorska is just a five-minute walk away. The village is really pretty, had a small well-stocked supermarket (with fresh bread/rolls) open in mid-April and a nice little cafe/bar. We really enjoyed our stay as a family, it was a great vacation for us in a very special location and with a very nice landlord. We can only warmly recommend the stay!

Dragana is a very kind soul, generous and thoughtful. I was well taken care of and the neighborood is quiet and charming. I loved my 5 nights there and will cherish good memories and good conversation. Thank you

If we could give this 5,000,000 stars out of 5, we would. Irena & Đuro treated us like family from the moment we arrived and we'll be grateful to them forever! If you want a truly unforgettable experience and to be part of something special, PLEASE book this place. From kind words and surprise refreshments to a perfectly private beach tucked into a hidden oceanside village, you will not be disappointed. We had a rental car but didn't use it because we couldn't be torn away from the peaceful clear waters of the Adriatic and the beautifully manicured terraces for lounging and enjoying the sunset views. We could go on and on, but we'll just say: THANK YOU & SEE YOU AGAIN! <3

We were a family of 10 people who had a great stay at the house. Everything was up to expectations and the host was really turned on and accommodating. In mid-May there were very little people and activities in the area, and all of the kiosks and bars along the beach were closed (except for the shooko and the neighbor). It was a bit too far to walk to the store to shop for goods and a bit far to walk to Omis. Would think there is more activity and possibilities in high season:) Otherwise, great house we had a great time in.

We had the most wonderful stay at Erna's property! The apartment is gorgeous and cozy, has lots of charm, and is in a lovely setting, just a few metres from the water. Everything needed was provided to us and the apartment kitchen was well equipped. We made good use of the bikes, outdoor kitchen (bonus) and paddleboard. While we didn't actually go to Split as much as we were planning, we ended up preferring spending time in our neighbourhood and exploring the rest of Kaštela with the use of the bikes :) Barbara and her husband were also very welcoming and we felt honoured to be invited to spend time with them. We will miss this place and its hosts! tips: best beach near the apartment seems to be a 6 minute walk to the right once leaving the gate. Kaštela is also to the right when leaving the gate. biking is possible all along the coast. the historic buildings are very charming. May be best to take the bus to Trojir as the highway portion doesn't have much of a shoulder. Thanks!

Apartment was outstanding. It was so relaxing eating our breakfast while watching the ferry’s dock. Lovely spacious rooms and scenic walk into Split centre. Klajdi was an amazing host. He responded immediately to any queries.

The first communication showed us that they deservedly had a Superhost status. I accidentally canceled the reservation without a refund, and Maya called the customer service to resolve it. Communication with Maya was perfect, we got all the instructions through the messages even in the PDF. It's easy to find a place to stay, because it's right on the road and beach. The beach is perfect for young children, you can use strollers, and the sea is crystal clear. The place is quiet and perfect for a getaway. They have 2 cafes nearby for parents to take a break and a grocery store. It's close to Split and Omis to visit by car. Parking is provided even after check out. It is possible to arrange a time of Chek in and out. There is everything for kids, crib toys etc. Everything is spotless. In the backyard you have a barbecue. The kitchen is fully equipped, feels like home. Maya thinks about everything and even has a book with all the instructions. We have words of praise for the quality of the accommodation, we recommend it primarily because of the qualie but also for the good hosts. we come back again

It is a great place to stay for its accessible location, pristine decor and wonderful hospitality. You will be staying in a heritage site with the Adriatic right on your doorstep! You will be centrally located between 2 touristic cities Split and Trogir making it easy to visit them, as well as take some day tours to other attractions. The surroundings are beautiful, offering a seaside promenade along the Adriatic and with pubs and restaurants along the way that offer great food and drinks. To top it all off, Antonella and her husband are wonderful hosts who welcomed us with open arms(and some gifts!). They are very responsive and empathetic, providing guidance and information before and during our stay. Highly recommend!!!

This is an exceptional apartment, split over two levels with first floor bedroom and bathrooms and living and kitchen space above, leading to a large balcony. Yes it is set on a hillside and yes the pathways up from the beach are steep, but the view of the whole bay made the climb worth the effort. The apartment is very modern and bathrooms spotless. The pool is a decent size and whenever we were using it we had it to ourselves. Apartment comes complete with James Bond style hatch opening to the rooftop! There was a mix up with check-in but the owner quickly responded to the message on Airbnb and got it sorted. The apartment is possibly the best equipped we have stayed in with plenty of crockery and utensils and chopping boards etc and plentiful supplies of toilet rolls, linen, towels (for bathrooms and for pool). Driving and parking can be challenging. We will miss our evening BBQs on the balcony watching activity on the water and the sun setting. Book now, you won't be disappointed

Amazing stay at Josko and Olesya‘s place. Super friendly and communicative, stunning location right on clear and clean water, you can jump right into the water from in front of the house. We chose to Uber back and forth to split (approximately 20-25 minutes for around 16-23€ per ride), but I believe the bus station is also around the corner. Cute bakery and some bars around the corner with views on the water as well as a nice restaurant on the water is a 4 minute walk away. There is also a little convenience store right next to the hosue with pretty much everything you need! We had an amazing time there! Thank you for having us! Till next time!

The waterfront apartment in Split is the perfect place for a couple to stay while enjoying a visit to this beautiful, vibrant and historical city. Toni and Helena and wonderful hosts who will answer your questions thoroughly and quickly and will make any recommendations for things to do and places to eat during your stay. The apartment is very comfortable and is furnished with everything you need during your stay. We loved sitting at the little balcony watching the city wake up, the people enjoying holiday life and even a few weddings in the church next door!! The Studio flat was really great with everything you need for a holiday. It is very close to Split airport so only 10 minuits by taxi. Enough distance so that there is hardly any aircraft noise. It is literally across the road from the beach. All the beaches have fine slightly sharp gravel so take beach shoes. The Island of Trogir is a 10 minuite bus journey ride away that stops practically outside the door. You can also easily bus to many little beaches with changing places and showers. There are Water sports, buses, water taxis close by and a ferry to Split. The host is really nice, always contactable, very helpful and full of local knowledge. I cannot recommend the wonderful host and her family enough in this perfect location.
