The apartment is a newly converted, 200 years old wine cellar. It is situated on the ground floor of a typical Croatian stone house which dates back to 1800s. You will enjoy a unique, traditional Dalmatian interior. The stone inside will keep you warm in winters and cold in hot Split summers. Emperor Diocletian's Palace is only 5 minutes away. (You will see similarities between his cellars and your apartment! If you come with car, 50m from Apartment is public Parking (60kn per Day)
“This place was fantastic! Amazing apartment, very stylish and the location was awesome. We loved our morning walk to the sights, and it was so close to everything we needed and wanted to see. Host was extremely helpful, showed us all of the good local restaurants and fun places to go at check in, and made sure we were very well taken care of. We drove in to Split and asked our host about any nearby parking. He was so helpful and met us at a parking lot very nearby the listing and even saved a spot for us. It was a nice surprise, also, that parking was free on the weekend while we were there. Amazing spot, definitely stay here.”
Breathtaking views from its large windows and terrace. Apartment Gina with 40m2 consists of one bedroom with a king size bed, one bathroom with hydromassage shower, large living room equipped with AC and SAT TV. Small kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials required for your own homemade food. Private terrace and jacuzzi in garden is only for your use. The apartment is located in the part of town called Gruž, (2,5 km far away from Old Town) The bus stop is just 100 m away.
“It is hard to put into words how great of a stay we had at Gina’s apartment. She describes the space as breathtaking and I don’t think I can think of a better word. We scoured through Airbnb to find the best place for myself and my girlfriend for our trip and this was everything we hoped for and more. First off, Gina is an incredible host who was responsive, gave great tips for local places to see, and had a very clean and comfortable apartment to stay in. We absolutely loved meeting her! Second, the location! We looked at a few different places that were closer to the Old City as we planned on visiting there, but I am so so so happy we chose this apartment. It is so close to the bus stop that takes you into the Old City for cheap (about an 8-10 minute ride), but has you staying in a more quiet and peaceful part of town and up the hill looking down on the beautiful harbor. It is simply in the perfect location and I would absolutely look no further for your booking if location is your biggest concern. Visiting the Old City was great, but also Sunset Beach and the Cave Bar More were so great and much closer to where we were staying. Lastly, the space and amenities. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, the shower was refreshing, and the kitchenette was perfect for a quick home made meal if you choose. But you simply cannot beat the view from the terrace and the jacuzzi. I will keep memories from the sites we saw forever, but some of my fondest memories from Croatia were sitting and drinking coffee on the terrace and looking out on the quiet harbor in the morning or sitting in the jacuzzi with a glass of wine as the sun set right in front of us. I can’t say enough good things about this place. If I ever make it back to Croatia (and I really hope I do), there is no doubt that I will be looking to see if I can stay in Gina’s apartment again.”
The apartment is situated in a quiet, attractive residential area of Split. It is placed on the south side slopes of Marjan hill, only 5 min walk from the old town, Diocletian's palace and Riva city's main promenade, where you can find all the restaurants, bars, shops and nightlife. 20 min walk to the ferry port and the main bus terminal. Large terrace is looking over the sea, islands, yacht marina, and the old town. You can just sit back and relax, watching ships coming and leaving the harbor.
“beautiful and bright apartment in a quiet panoramic location, 10 minutes by foot to the city center, 1 minute to the wonderful Marjan hill and 5 minutes to the sea, supermarket 2 minutes, parking in front of the door - ideal! Great big terrace overlooking the sea (watching ferries is very relaxing!) And the old town, comfortable seating. Pleasant dining area in well-equipped kitchen with a view from several windows. Sleeping mattresses are quite hard, a bit difficult for visitors "with back". Igor is a very sympathetic and attentive host, we felt very well at all times.”
