Holiday rentals with a kayak in Northern New Mexico

A wonderful home in a beautiful setting, we found everything we needed for our family of 5 adults... and more. Bill and Cindy have created a well-appointed, efficient, and beautiful place to truly relax. We enjoyed the spectacular view from almost every room. Morning coffee and evening meal on the patio provided great opportunities to bond and watch the wildlife. Check in was effortless, and Bill was quick to respond when contacted. We will be back!

I loved the beautiful location of the home and the easy check-in. Karin & Matthew are wonderful hosts and responded quickly to questions I had. I would definitely recommend this home. You won’t be disappointed.

This is our third time at Casa de Chara, so we will obviously like it. It’s always immaculate and easy to find things. Wonderful back yard opening to forest. Good instructions for leaving. We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful time with family and friends. The place was beautiful with amazing views and a great location. We really enjoyed the Elk and Mule Deer roaming. We will definitely stay again in the future.

Maggies Home was amazing! She had cards/board games we played. She even had a cook book Pie in The Sky so for those who don't know how to cook in different elevations this is perfect for you! Everything from the bedrooms to kitchen was so nice! The view with all the windows breath taking!! I will be booking again.

This property exceeded expectations and is perfect for a getaway to Taos Ski Valley, Sipapu, or Angel Fire ski resorts! We also went hiking a few days and there are tons of trails for all levels of experience conveniently within a reasonable drive from Taos Love. We will be back! 💙

I had SUCH a wonderful stay at James and Kims' lovely cabin. It was adorable and comfortable. Close enough to town to easily pop in for groceries and such but still had that wonderful "away from it all" feeling. The cabin is located on a beautiful property with a gorgeous stream running right behind it and beautiful views of the mountains all around. James and Kim were extremely helpful, responsive, and kind. Can't recommend this place enough!

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed Hummingbird at Elk Point Lodge. Nolan and Olive were easy to work with and communicated everything clearly. They were responsive to all needs. The cabin was very clean, as well as the hot tub. It’s a really beautiful and peaceful location with great amenities. Will do again soon!

We loved our stay at the Ranch. The place had everything we needed and more. Plenty of space and room to spread out. It was clean, nicely decorated and liked just like the photos. We had a group of 12 adults there to meet for a mediation and sacred site week. It was perfect. There are great places close by too to hike, eat and relax. Beautiful views and outdoor space too. Thank you!!!!

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our needs and so cute and clean. Just a nice, peaceful area. We had everything we needed stocked for our stay. The area was just beautiful with all the fall colors. I would suggest if you are bringing your own paddleboards or extra kayaks (there are two kayaks included with the rental) that it is easier to take the path to the lake on the far side of the cabin to the north of the property to get them down to the water. Rene was great with communication and gave great suggestions on things to do in the area!

This property was exactly what we were hoping for and more. Beautiful, remote and quiet log cabin located high on hill with great views. It is decorated with wonderful Native American art throughout…such a peaceful feeling. Hot tub, several large decks and BBQ area were amazing. Kitchen area was well equipped and made dining in enjoyable. Plenty of room inside and outside for privacy with group of 6 adults. Deer all over property and night sky was awesome..no light pollution. Lori and Rob are first class hosts and responded immediately with any questions. Very flexible and caring people. We have stayed at Croll's Cabins several times before and have had nothing but wonderful experiences, this time was no different. We stayed in Armstrong Library for the third time but this was the first time since they remodeled, and it is beautiful! We always feel as though we are at home, and the comfort and hospitality of Croll's Cabins is unmatched! They truly provide everything you could need which makes packing and traveling much easier, and I appreciated having someone within reach in the case that we needed anything. The paddle boards and canoes that are available to use free of charge was a new addition, and we spent most of our trip playing on lake! Thank You Croll's Cabins for your amazing hospitality and helping us to make many new memories, we look forward to returning next year!!

Without question, the most well-equipped AirBnB I've stayed in. Scott and Laura were communicative and responsive and I love, love, love the location. Angel Fire in April is a hidden gem and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Cannot recommend Scott and Laura's place enough and will gladly come back.

The River Cabin was exactly as described and shown which is great. But the surroundings were gorgeous, peaceful and quiet. The river is just in front of the cabin. The river was still high and swift during our stay so we weren't able to catch anything from it during our stay but we did catch some trout from the ponds. There is lots of room to roam on the property. With the cabin only 2 miles from downtown you can easily run there to grab a bite to eat. Kim and Conor are gracious and friendly hosts and very responsive. Seclusion, beauty, peace and quiet all close to town makes this the perfect place to stay! I highly recommend it!
