“We loved staying in this cabin, it was cute and comfortable, and had a great location! We saw lots of deer around the cabin each day, and were able to easily find amazing hikes nearby. The kitchen is really nice and well stocked, easy to put together any gourmet meal. We spent lots of time in the hot tub, around the fire pits, and grilling on the front deck. The indoor fire places add a very nice touch for the colder nights. Checkin/out was a breeze. The host was pleasant and easy to reach, and offered a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. We plan on staying here again in the future!”
“Sprucewood” is one of the few original 1940s split-log cabins in the popular and wooded Upper Canyon. Filled with new, modern-rustic design, it’s an historical gem at the top of the hill, with deck overlooking distant mountain peaks, pines, and cabins. Friendly deer walk through the yard. The river is a scenic stroll away. An easy hike through the woods of Perk Canyon is a 2-minute drive; shops & dining are a 5-minute drive. With hot tub, and ski-lodge decor, it screams mountain cabin getaway
“We stayed in Steve and Gretchens place when our country was in crisis over the worldwide coronavirus pandemic. This was the perfect escape from the news and media and darkness of the world right now. We went to ski spache every day and relaxed in the hot tub each night. We made home cooked meals and enjoyed wine on the patio. We got to feed the deer right from the hot tub and the back door. Its in a beautiful location, close to everything. Steve and Gretchen offered us an addition night for free because of so many cancellations due to the quatatine. They were so generous and kind. Always fast to respond. We will return.”

“This cabin is everything I look for in an Airbnb! I prefer to stay in Airbnb's rather than hotels precisely for the details, comforts, and amenities provided by great homeowners, just like Scarlet and Michael! They were such responsive and great hosts. I would love to come back to stay in their home again!”
