Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Northern New Mexico

this was my first time using Airbnb and Lindsy made the stay really easy with check in, instructions for appliances and even where to park.

This place is absolutely beautiful!! Surrounded by mountains in the distance and breathtaking views through each window. Everything was very clean and pleasantly decorated. I stayed for two nights and cooked lightly. The kitchen is stocked well with all the essentials, however It would be have been really nice to have some type of cooking oil available. You will also want bring your favorite toiletries. The hosts were very responsive to any questions I had. I’d love to stay there again.

The Glass House in Cedar Crest was by far the nicest home I've had the pleasure to stay in. First, it was spotless in all areas. Secondly, it is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views. The hosts have also thought of everything you might need or want and supplied it. The house layout is perfect with very large private bedrooms and a huge great room to gather together, and the decor is lovely and not overdone. The hot tub and sauna were such wonderful additions too. The beds and linens were top quality, and the hosts responded immediately when I had a question. I really can't say enough about this very unique and beautiful property. Everyone in our group thanked me profusely for finding the Glass House for our family weekend.

Incredible spot close to Santa Fe- the drive is beautiful and this place is nestled in a very cozy and quiet spot! We really enjoyed our stay at Ryan and Johanna’s spot- they have thoughtfully created a very beautiful space on their lovely property! Everything is better than pictured- it’s so clean and well stocked! Fantastic hosts, very kind, easy to chat with and our kiddos loved getting to meet their pets! If we make our way back to the area again we will for sure book here!

This place is amazing. The house itself is so unique and we loved the little room with the writing desk. It felt like a monastic cell, but in a good way. The design of the place is so cool! I loved the watermelon theater (at least that’s what I’m calling it) and the Alice in Wonderland door that leads to the patio from the bedroom. And then there’s the location which is unbelievable! You are surrounded by the most amazing views of the desert and all you need to do is look out a window or lounge on the pergola to take it all in and experience the magical sunsets. We will definitely be back. I was so sad we had to leave!

My husband and I absolutely enjoyed staying at Jeremy's place. We both felt we were literally staying in a National Park. The casita was immaculate and we had clear directions to the casita as well as for check-in. Jeremy provided helpful information both before and during our stay. As Georgia O'Keeffe said about New Mexico, " ...it will itch you for the rest of your life", the same can be said about Jeremy's place.

The Casita in El Prado was perfect for our first visit to Taos. We especially liked the ease of entry, responsive host and a good value. The view from the back door was outstanding although we love the authenticity of the outdoor chairs something more comfortable would be inviting. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet although close to the main road. It was just a quick ten minutes or so to all Taos has to offer down town. We did not take advantage of the kitchen but it was adequate for the space. Kudos for providing our use of the fireplace and raising the firewood. Only negative was we had some difficulty after dark finding the entrance to the property as it was not lit and sort of crept up on us! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were familiar with area, having grown up in Albuquerque, and we knew we wanted to be close to the mountains for morning hikes. The amenities were top notch and we were able to bring our elderly parents over to relax. Overall, 10/10.

I loved this place. Very quiet but also right in town and within walking distance of the local restaurants/shops. Very clean and the AC stayed quite cool in the New Mexico heat. A true gem.

Gracious host. Felt as if I were TRULY staying in someone's home. so many little details provided by someone who made the effort to think what all a traveler may need while away from own home.

Peaceful retreat in Tesuque was perfect for us. Walking distance to sculpture garden and restaurants. 15 minutes to the plaza downtown Santa Fe.

We visited Joe and Shirley’s casita for a romantic weekend getaway. The space was immaculately clean, super cozy, and very conveniently located. There were several wonderful restaurants and coffee shops within comfortable walking distance. The hosts put together a very helpful binder of restaurant and activity recommendations. They were also very responsive and friendly. We had an absolutely lovely time! 10/10 recommend staying at Joe and Shirley’s casita.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The unit is a basement apartment located within 20 minutes of Albuquerque yet in a mountain setting, surrounded by Ponderosa Pines. It's minutes away from the ski resort and crest of the mountain with lots of hiking and biking options as well. The unit is tastefully decorated in a lodge theme with plenty of attention to detail. Brad was a great host and very responsive. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area.

I had a lovely stay at Lucy‘s place in Madrid. It was clean, cozy, peaceful and had a cool mix of an eclectic furnishings and decor. It had just about everything you could want and need. Lucy was very responsive and helpful and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her space if you’re going to be visiting the Madrid area! Very funky, artsy, friendly little town!

I absolutely loved my stay at Velma and Jude’s condo. The condo was more roomy than I imagined. The kitchen was beautiful and I loved cooking meals at their place. The condo was comfortable and had everything I needed even for my short stay. The neighbors were quiet and the place in general was very calm with little to no traffic noise. The room was beautiful and her place was beautiful I loved the little details around the place and would definitely come back and stay again. It was perfect for me!

Very cute place, just like the pictures. The area is quiet but close enough to walk to downtown Taos, though youll still probably need a car for things like grocery store and misc activities. The hosts were very responsive when I had a question. Make sure to read the “directions from host” as they clearly list how to find/get into the unit. We were provided some granola bars at check in which was a sweet and kind touch. I didn’t see shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom, which was fine since I always pack my own but something to keep in mind if you don’t always travel with it. It was a lovely stay

The directions and check-in instructions were super specific and clear. Fantastic location between railyard and Plaza! Although Luc was out of town during our stay, he stayed in communication so well that we felt like he was there. He responded so quickly to our questions - one time it was within a minute - usually less than 5 minutes. We loved the whole experience and property, however, stand-outs were the private courtyard and the fireplace. Our first night there was overcast and a little chilly, so we made a fire with pinon wood in the kiva fireplace. It was fantastic, smelled so good, and made a dreary night a positive experience. My husband utilized the shared hot tub and loved it. Although the condo was in a 100 year old adobe, the bathroom was modern and very clean. The whole place was updated and very clean and there were a lot of little, thoughtful touches to make us feel comfortable. Hope to stay there, again.

Fort Marcy was very convenient with easy parking. It was reasonably spacious and the kids lived the indoor pool.

Clean, reasonably priced, centrally located, felt safe at night. The washer + dryer in the private outdoor space was a godsend. Thoughtful amenities. Definitely worth it if you’re like us and spending a lot of time on the go during your trip!

Cozy and close to the Plaza We spent a wonderful week in this Taos Airbnb! The location and price couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the Plaza, shops, and restaurants, but still quiet and peaceful. The space was comfortable, clean, and felt like a home away from home. Perfect for exploring all that Taos has to offer. Highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed at Taryn's place over the Memorial Day weekend. The place was clean and easily accessible. There was plenty of street parking, and it was a walkable distance to the Old Town area. We enjoyed our stay there. The instructions were clear on check-in and check-out. Taryn was responsive when we ran out of toilet paper! We didn't realize we only had one roll, but we were promptly provided with a toilet paper delivery! There's a tiny kitchen area if you need it, too. Overall, it was a great space to rest your head! It was also quiet at night, even though it's by a main street, we didn't hear any noise at night.

We absolutely love staying at Mark’s place. It was perfect for our little family. Great location, very clean, comfy… 5 stars all around!!! Thank you for hosting us!
