I always enjoy my stay at the Cottage. It is peaceful, clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a week or longer. Shirley & Ken are always lovely and incredibly responsive with any question. If I could give more stars I would. My go-to when I visit New Bern.

The Love Shack is located in a quiet and beautiful area. While sitting on porch one can see the water from the bay. Very relaxing. The apartment had all the comforts of home. When I arrived there were fresh flowers and a homemade pastry waiting for me. It had all the amenities one needs while away from home. The bed was very comfortable too. The hosts were very kind, considerate and responsive. I will be returning for another stay in the very near future.

Jenny’s guest house was exactly just what I needed to decompress and relax. I was welcomed with some fruit and a muffin. Place was clean with everything that I needed. My favorite part was the back porch. Read, ate dinners and sipped wine there. Can’t wait to go back!!!

Christine Anne and Bill were great hosts. Their place was comfortable with an outside deck. The location was off the beaten path in a beautiful setting on the river. It was an easy drive to Oriental, a small town with a variety of restaurants and a coffee shop. We enjoyed our respite in the carriage house.

Camille's place is super charming. We were only there for one night, but I wish we could have stayed longer! Her place is in a beautiful neighborhood. I have stayed at many Airbnb's, and this one was a favorite!

Great place. It was an easy checkin process. The apartment was clean and well stocked with necessities. I only stayed a night, but it was perfect for my needs. I met the owner on my way out. He was friendly and very nice.

The view was amazing! Our favorite place was sitting by the fireplace. It looked just like the pictures. Quiet and peaceful. Nice touches with the decor. Anglea responded and answered questions quickly. It's approximately 15 - 20 minutes from Asheville. 10/10 would recommend.

Wonderful hosts, my wife and I spent the weekend at The Nest and loved every minute of it. Greg and Gayle were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Very easy to gain entry upon arrival and the place was spotless. Would very much recommend for a weekend getaway or a “mini-moon.”

Jim is one of the most wonderful hosts we have ever had. He was friendly and responsive and made sure that we had everything we could have possibly needed. His place was exactly as described, but the surroundings and peacefulness were even more than we expected. We enjoyed the pool and the bed is super comfortable! We will definitely plan to stay with Jim again when we are in the area.

This place is WONDERFUL! It is centrally located to everything in Haywood County and to I-40 if you want to go to Asheville or day trip to Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg TN. Everything was spotless and the bed was probably the most comfortable I've had at a rental. The home was so quiet and peaceful that sleeping came easy every night. The only thing I can find to complain about is the clawfoot tub. While charming, it isn't ideal to shower in. The tub doesn't hold water and is to short to relax in, so no tub bath. And, once the shower curtain is closed, there's barely enough room for a normal person to shower. I'd love it if they replaced the tub with a walk in shower. That being said, I would definitely stay again. It was exactly what I needed, except for the charming, but extremely small clawfoot tub/ shower.

Natalie’s place was quiet and perfect for my Daughter and myself for a quick overnight without the hotel hassle. It poured the day we arrived and there was flooding throughout the city. Natalie proactively removed the standing water very fast so we could walk to our car easily. I was impressed.

Adorable little house! I stayed for 3 weeks while on assignment with my job. Super close to my work location, clean. Awesome pool!! If you forced me, I would have to say that the wifi could be faster (2gb). Otherwise, I loved it and would be happy to return! Thanks Allen!

I stayed one night at Peggy’s place during a business trip to Salisbury and had a great experience. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and very quiet — I got a great night’s sleep thanks to the dark, peaceful bedroom. Peggy and Brandon were on the property when I arrived and were super friendly. I was also able to bring my dog, and Peggy was kind enough to allow a late checkout for a small fee so I could leave her in the apartment during my meeting. I’d definitely consider staying here again if I’m in the area.

Laura is an exceptional host—gracious, attentive, and truly thoughtful in every detail. She has created a peaceful and welcoming retreat that immediately feels like home. The property is absolutely beautiful, with serene surroundings that invite you to relax and unplug. Her dog, Winston, is the sweetest and feels like the gentle keeper of the land—he added a special touch to our stay. I would absolutely love to bring my family back here again someday. This was a great stay. A thoroughly modern over-garage apartment. Lots of thoughtful amenities and the location was great - close to downtown but with a inner suburb feel. Many restaurants, coffee shops, and stores nearby. The heated plunge pool and beautiful back yard space were a definite plus. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. We would gladly stay here again.

Hosts communicate well, there was an incident that had occurred with the previous guests and I was notified prior to my arrival. There was also a blackout in the area and was informed during my stay. I stayed for a weekend while I was attending a wedding. I didn’t use the Airbnb much nor had time to enjoy the surroundings. I can say my sleep was not disturbed during my stay and I enjoyed the bath tub.

It was a great respite for us! Loved the pup area, coffee/tea area, peaceful & quiet, games, etc. Easy access to all areas we wanted to explore. Abundance of natural light, cozy spots, necessities, comfy beds...

The house was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. Communication was seamless! The host was responsive and considerate, ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish.
