Farmstay holiday rentals in North Carolina

It was a house in a tree. It lived up to our expectations. It was rustic and woodsy. We enjoyed staying there.

I cannot recommend this place enough!! First off the privacy and the view was spectacular. We were greeted by the cutest dogs! We were able to rest and enjoy the fire pit while lying on the hammock. And the host took us around to see his goats, horses and dogs! It was so enjoyable! I will recommend it to anyone who needs to escape from the city life!

Such a peaceful place to stay even just for a weekend getaway. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay with their significant other. the only downside while we were there was not all the animals were there or out.

I had an amazing stay at this cozy Airbnb—truly a serene and peaceful spot to get away and unplug from the hustle and bustle. The location is fantastic, especially if you love hiking, as there are great trails just a short drive away. Waking up to the beautiful views was such a treat, and the cozy spaces inside made it easy to relax and unwind after a day outdoors. The kitchen is well-equipped and perfect for preparing meals, which added to the comfort of the stay. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to recharge in nature without sacrificing convenience!

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. Location was great and the deck over the river's edge was wonderful. Only suggestion we would have is a vacuum for the cabin versus just a broom. Rate was great and we will be back.

Our second visit to this peaceful cabin. The hosts are wonderful and made the trip extra special for our birthday girl. We explored nearby towns of Dillsboro and Bryson. Wonderful restaurants and local shops. We drove ‘the tail of the dragon’ on our route in. Loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the view. Looking forward to coming again.

We all liked the rustic cabin. It was very quaint, comfortable and a great location. The porches are so nice and relaxing. Enjoyed the place with our family very much. Great memories and exercise made on our NC Mountain trips always!.

In town for the NASCAR Allstar race. The cabin was a perfect distance from North Wilkesboro. The cabin was an excellent retreat after a long day at the track. The property is gorgeous, and we were fortunate to get to know Lilly the German Shepard. She greeted us in the mornings and stopped by in the afternoon. We plan to book this place again for next year. Thanks to Sawyer for an awesome stay.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend this place. There were zero issues. Michael was communicative and kind. We had a little “staycation” with a group of friends and loved sharing the huge sectional sofa for a movie night. The screened in porch was perfect for evening drinks. The kitchen was stocked with all the utensils and kitchenware needed to make a meal. And the property was beautiful and peaceful. The location is a little secluded, but it was perfect for a stay where we had no plans or need to go anywhere. We would absolutely stay here again next time we need a getaway with friends.

This was SUCH a wonderful getaway for us! The cabin is beautiful, tons of outdoor activities close by, and the views on the property are incredible! Matt was an awesome host, extremely kind and helpful. We only wish we could have stayed longer :-) Thank you again for hosting, we will absolutely book this spot again!

We had such a peaceful time. it was exactly what we needed. I felt such peace staying there. Walking around the farm and visiting the animals just brang me pure joy. We tried fishing a bit and sitting there by the pond was so relaxing and therapeutic. I loved Emma she followed us around everywhere, I teared up leaving her which is weird for me, I'm a cat person. We loved the sofa recliner so much that we ordered the same one from Wayfair for our TV room lol it will be here Wednesday. We will definitely be back. I love this place! Thank you for creating this peaceful, serene place.

Shannon’s place was so peaceful and relaxing. I felt right at home. I met Shannon and some of her family since the guest house is on their farm and they were great to talk to. I really enjoyed seeing the farm animals. I chose this property since I was traveling with my 2 dogs. The setup inside a 3/4 acre fenced yard was perfect! Everything in the guest house was clean, worked well and very comfortable. I highly recommend and will definitely stay again when I’m in that area.

Amazing host, great location, such a special place. The bathroom was clean and as described in the posting! The pigs on the farm were adorable!

Super clean, great location, very peaceful! Such a beautiful place to stay if you are looking to get away from. Situated great for hiking and exploring local towns. Lance was very friendly, tagged along everywhere with us and was very interested in the dogs!

Effortless process and wonderful experience. This place is exactly as as shown in the photos and even more quite and peaceful than expected. The house and the decor are so thoughtful and inviting we didn't want to leave. The screened porch and open deck extend the small but generous living spaces outside perfectly. The loft is a great retreat and with a great selection of games we made use of. We were (4) people and we had plenty of space for cooking, dining and relaxing. We will stay again and highly recommend!

We felt right at home and welcome for our whole stay! This was our third trip to the farm and it really felt just like going home. We had two families with a combined 3 boys and had plenty of space to spread out within the house. We went into New Burn for site seeing and dinner and found multiple parks near by for hiking/running. The house was beautiful and comfortable- we loved seeing the lambs, chickens, cats and cows right outside the windows and the screened in porch was perfect for catching up. We had a tour of the farm and got to see baby chicks and brand new baby lambs! Getting to name three lambs were our boys’s favorite part! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

A lovely, peaceful, & restful place. We loved the porch, view, hot tub and fire pit. Scott and family were very helpful and yet gave us “space.” The eggs straight off the farm were great too!

Ron and Janet were so kind and their cabin was lovely. My kids loved playing in the creek. It is a beautiful area!

We had a wonderful stay! The place is private, cozy, and well kept. It’s in a valley of a mountain, so you can hear the small creek running if it has rained, and the large window in the front of the house allows an amazing amount of light into the house. While it looks small on the outside, it’s quite spacious inside. Beds and living room furniture are comfy, and it has a medium sized kitchen table for eating. There were games, cards, and books to help with the serene setting. Beautiful home in a beautiful place!

Tina’s place was so peaceful not only because of the setting, but also because of the cleanliness and simplicity of the furnishings, and the lack of clutter. While maintaining a cozy feeling, there was also plenty of amenities including games and toys for the children/adults, loads of extra blankets and towels, a dreamy wrap around porch, and a blackstone grill that was perfect on these cool mornings. We also loved getting to say hello to all the animals including two friendly porch cats.

Private and quiet. And has goats, which you can feed by hand. Caleb quickly answered all my questions and refilled the goat food quickly. Great place to stay.
