Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Newport

We spent a wonderful weekend at Rachel's home. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and lovely. Many restaurants, beach, shopping and sites a short ride away. Rachel was responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend this house and area, just beautiful! We hope to visit again soon.

The house was perfect to stay at for a wedding weekend. Close enough to walk to second beach for those that don’t mind a short walk on a busy road. The house had everything we needed and more and was extremely spacious and private.

David’s home was exactly as described. The house has obviously been taken care of. The house was homey and very clean. The location was very close to Bowen’s Wharf.

Stayed here one night with our two small kids and we felt right at home. Such a cute, rustic vibe. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought into the place. Had access to everything we needed. The power went out briefly due to an issue in town and they were super responsive, ready to hook up the generator if needed. They were also flexible with check out, which helped us a lot. Would definitely stay here again if in the Newport area!

Great location in walking distance to downtown Newport. We were in town for a wedding and the price was much more reasonable than all of the hotels in the area. The space was clean and Sam was extremely responsive and friendly. We would recommend staying here!

Great stay in Newport, perfect, quiet location away from the summer craziness of downtown. Extremely walkable, to restaurants, coffee shops, downtown and the harbor. Place was very clean and comfortable. Sarah was a very responsive and friendly host. Loved the private backyard courtyard to sit and have coffee or a meal. It was nice to have a driveway to park the car. We would definitely stay here again, recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Cape Newport for a wedding weekend! The home was spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay! The location was perfect—just a short drive to downtown Newport and close to the wedding venue, which made everything so easy. Our host was responsive, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. You can tell they truly care about creating a great guest experience. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Newport—whether for a wedding, a weekend getaway, or just to explore the area. We’d definitely stay here again!

Elaine has a lovely apartment. Very pristine and quiet with amazing views. Our stay was extremely comfortable. Her instructions were perfect and we had no problem with whatsoever anything. If you’re ever there do not miss the morning sunrise. Outstanding. Thank you Elaine & Rich for a lovely stay. We hope to come back some day.

Tom and Cindi were delightful hosts and thier property was immaculate! I especially liked that they didn't use heavily perfumed cleaners and the apartment smelled clean without a hint of chemicals, excellent for my allergies. It was a peaceful, quiet stay only steps away from the wonderful waterfront. If I return to this area I would definately return to Tom and Cindi's!

We had a great stay at Harbor Watch! The apartment is clean, cozy, centrally located on the main road and walkable to everywhere in Newport. The apartment is a top floor loft with sloped ceilings and skylights that bring in a ton of natural light starting from early in the day. Jen was also so friendly and responsive throughout our stay. We’d stay here again and would definitely recommend!

Location was perfect. Short walk to restaurants and nightlife, while still in a peaceful residential neighborhood. The room is spacious and homey.

Beautiful and well-maintained place. We had a minor issue, but Jonas was very proactive in resolving it. Felt right at home.

Our stay was fabulous! Anke was very kind, the place was beautiful and well maintained. Though it is a small room, it seemed huge because of how well the place was laid out! We enjoyed our time and would love to come back :)

Jane was a gracious host. She greated me when arrival. Showed me how to enter, parking and interior. Very convient location to to beaches, shopping and restaurants in South County. I highly recommend Jane's place for your next getaway to South County.

This apartment was exactly as we hoped! Excellent location on the east side. The place has so much character and was comfortable for all. Had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend.

Host was responsive and helpful, instructions were clear. The apartment was clean and very nice, we enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was easy to drive to downtown Providence and Gillette Stadium. It was easy to get to and a lot of space for parking (we all arrived mostly separately and there was space to park all 3 cars). Also, we were all very impressed by the shower and the water pressure lol. A great location and great Airbnb!! I would def recommend this spot and would come back! 😊

This place was great! It was wonderful to stay in such a historic building. The apartment was very clean and tidy, the check-in/check-out instructions were very easy, and the host also provided suggestions for nearby restaurants. I definitely recommend this place!

We rented Kathi's place for our girls trip to Newport! It was plenty big and spacious to comfortably accommodate our group of 5. The best part is the prime location! Couldn't have asked for a better one - the Bodhi spa is right across the street, good restaurants that we could just walk to, plenty of shopping on the street. Kathi was always very responsive and even gave us early check-in, which we truly appreciated. Having free parking is a bonus on Thames St, you know if you have ever been to Newport! Overall we all had a fabulous time. Thanks Kathi.

Alex’s place was a great stay to recharge and relax after the long days we had last week. I would highly recommended this place for anyone popping through New Bedford, or staying for a few days! The airbnb was spotless and quiet and clean. I will be renting here again when I need somewhere to stay when I’m back in New Bedford! Also very close to downtown all the coffee shops, and restaurants! Quiet neighborhood.

I highly recommend staying here as a home away from home retreat! Our stay was relaxing and cozy with a peaceful view of the water. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

The apartment was as advertised. Clean, comfortable beds and sheets. We did not cook there so I can't comment on cookware. There is not much nearby to walk to. Great coffee shop about 2 blocks with walgreens across the street! Felt it was a bit overpriced for location. We've stayed in Federal Hill for less. This apartment supported our stay very well for attending a family event. Thanks, Sean!
