Beach house holiday rentals in Nantucket

This weekend was our second stay at Kimberly’s place. It’s great in all weather and has multiple spots to hang out outside. We spent morning on the front deck, had lunch on the back deck and watched the boats from the balcony in the afternoon. And it’s such a short walk to the beach we went multiple times throughout the day.

House is in a lovely family-friendly neighborhood just steps from the fishing pond and beach and walking distance to Poppanesset Resort and shops. House is a tidy rancher with spacious, bright kitchen (skylight and huge island with plenty of seating). Shared living area features two sitting areas, dining rolm table, large double fireplace (not used), and roomy deck and yards. Bedrooms are ideal for a family…primary with queen bed (en suite bath) and two secondaries with a pair of twin beds each (shared bath in hall). It’s pricey, but so is the neighborhood and location so close to the shore and amenities!

All I can really say is… wow!! From the moment we arrived, Liza was incredibly communicative, accommodating, and welcoming. And upon arrival, we recognized how truly special her home is; with so much character and charm! It’s very private and felt incredibly safe. The home seems nestled into Martha's Vineyard itself and the back led out to a private green space, dock, and beach with blooming bushes next to the path. This was such a rare find. It was so magical, we spent an afternoon painting watercolors of the view of the boats on the water that you can see from the living room. With six girls staying for a bachelorette weekend, we had an abundance of room. It is more spacious than the photos capture. Situated in a prime location near Edgartown. And every piece of decor, plate, bowl, cup felt vintage, special, unique. This place has authentic charm. Bottom line: Our stay was incredible. We all can’t wait to come back again!

If you’re visiting Nantucket staying at Connor’s is a must do. Very charming and super close to the beach. Quite neighborhood which is a great escape from how busy downtown can be. Nothing beats listening to the waves as you fall asleep instead of a sound machine.

Very cute and cozy cottage. Decorated in a true Nantucket nautical theme. The home had everything that we needed to make for a pleasant stay. We were able to walk to town very easily and to Children’s Beach and Brant Point also. Hope to rent again someday!

Lee is an outstanding host, very responsive and went above and beyond. There is a Wave shuttle bus stop a very short walk from the house which enables you to get around the island easily. The house was lovely and quite comfortable with great air conditioning. The kitchen was fully stocked and had a lot of spices and plenty of delicious coffee. Nice beach equipment available and outdoor dining table on a shaded porch made all of our meals al fresco. We had a remarkable stay and would not hesitate to return.

This was my first time ever using or renting on Airbnb, and Doug surely made it easy and stress free between his quick responses and amazing referrals to local restaurants. The place was spectacular, well decorated giving it a soft and comforting vibe. Along with an amazing view of the harbor on the rooftop deck. Location couldn’t have been anymore convenient, walking distance of the ferry, along with some amazing restaurants just a short walk away. Will surely stay again on my next trip to the vineyard. Thank you Doug and Christina for such an amazing visit.

We had a wonderful stay out in Madaket. Quiet, serene and amazing proximity to the beach! Abigail was flexible and accommodating with us, we had a larger group staying + everyone was comfortable. House is spacious enough while giving old nantucket vibes too! We cooked a few meals at the house and found the house to be well supplied with propane, utensils, plates and glasses. We slept 10 people at the house comfortably, only one of the bedrooms from photos didn’t match up, switched from 2 twins to a full but it actually worked better for us! The real winner of the weekend was the ocean breeze accompanied by the views, hard to beat!!! Super pleased with Abigail’s responsiveness, accommodations + suggestions and overall friendliness! Look forward to staying at “The Captains Quarters” again! 10/10

Prescott’s house is such a relaxing place to stay with a big group. The house has a very pretty view and is very clean and peaceful. We are very grateful for such a nice stay at this beautiful house. The BBQ outside didn’t work great but other than that we had a wonderful time! Thank you Prescott.

Amy’s villa was perfect for our family vacation. From the moment we stepped into the villa we immediately relaxed and went into vacation mode. The villa has a beautifully designed layout with well appointed furnishings and decor and lots of windows that let in lots of light. It’s definitely a beautiful and peaceful place of serenity. Amy had everything we needed from a well stocked kitchen, a gas fireplace that was relaxing to sit by and look out at the beautiful pool right outside. We enjoyed lounging at the pool, and grilling, while the kids swam. Absolutely very private and relaxing! Close by are areas of lovely shops/restaurants just a short drive away. We truly enjoyed staying at Amy’s. From the moment we had reached out to inquire about her property she was always very responsive - right away! And very thoughtful! Fresh flowers and a bottle of wine welcomed us to the home! Thank you Amy for making our vacation to Cape Cod the best experience! Can’t wait to return!

We loved are family stay at Paul & Katie’s home for Easter Week. It is a dream home . The neighborhood was beautiful and walkable, with a peaceful path to a private beach. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants in Mashpee Commons about an 8 minute drive away.

Kerry was an amazing host. Very kind, very helpful, and very communicative. The house itself was very cute and had the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen. The outdoor shower was also a huge hit. The house was super close to the community beach and the community pool, which were both a ton of fun. The house was also close to some other things we did on our week vacation, like sailing on the Liberte, taking a ferry to Martha's Vineyard, and checking out some other town beaches. The house was a little tight for the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids)...while there were plenty of places to sleep, there were only 4 chairs at the kitchen table and the outdoor table. The house was also right off the main road, which made it convenient, but I think we would have preferred to be a little more secluded. But all in all, positives definitely outweigh the negatives.

Emily was so kind and responsive and the house was exactly as expected. The walk to the beach was lovely and doable with the toddlers thanks to the wagon provided. It was a quick drive into all things Falmouth and a great home base for us. The stand outs for everyone were how comfy the beds were and we were all obsessed with the outdoor shower. Loved all the thoughtful amenities, such as games and kids dinnerware. Overall very stylish and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Quynh’s house was great for our trip to the Cape! we had a family wedding and the location was perfect, close to everything. Quynh was very quick to respond and solve any issues we had with urgency. would stay there again!

Lloyd was friendly and got back to us right away for our quick trip to Falmouth. We were looking for a spot that was central to a few places we were heading and friends we were visiting. The house has a great layout for traveling with kids with bedrooms and bathroom on opposite ends of the house. The master bath was great with a huge walk-in shower. It was immaculate and had everything we needed and even some extras! The deck and outside dining space is lovely and we wished we had better weather to have enjoyed it more! Thank you again!

My brother & my family, total of 8 stayed at Alex place to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. It was a beautiful home, very cozy, plenty of rooms for all of us. Nice swimming pool and grill setup. Very peaceful location. Alex is prompt in answering our questions. We all had a great time and good memories to cherish for a long time. Though weather was raining and cold, and couldn’t do much outdoors, we were glad we stayed here as the house perfectly felt at home. Thank you Alex for hosting us!

We had such a lovely long weekend at Katie’s place! As a family of four, we couldn’t have asked for a better spot—the proximity to the beach is everything. The house was incredibly clean, welcoming, and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. We especially appreciated all the thoughtful touches for kids and babies—truly everything you could ask for when traveling with little ones. We’d definitely love to come back!

We loved our stay! The house was beautiful, immaculate, spacious, and well-stocked. The location was perfect, we walked into Edgartown every day, and rented bikes to get to the beach. Amy was super responsive and the house manual she provided in advance had all of the info we needed. The only downside was construction on a neighboring house— the work was noisy and a little disruptive, and large construction vehicles sometimes blocked the road getting into and out of the house. No fault of Amy’s, though, and hopefully the work will be done soon!

Fran and Susan's house is even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The spotlessly clean interior is thoughtfully decorated with impeccable style, and every amenity has been carefully considered to ensure a comfortable stay. It is within easy walking distance of downtown Oak Bluffs and the waterfront. Thanks to Fran for the exceptional communication and responsiveness. Cozy Bluffs made for a truly cozy escape!

We stayed at Jenny’s property in early June and it was one of the best decisions we could have made! A beautiful space with room for guests (though it was just our small family) and it was very easy to access beaches, downtown Edgartown and just a short drive to Oaks Bluff and Vineyard Haven. Jenny was a great host - super responsive and gave us great beach recommendations to take our little one. The outdoor shower helped us rinse things off before we came into the house which was nice and saved us the extra cleanup. Would definitely book with Jenny again and we had a wonderful time!

Erin’s place was so comfy and cozy. Has all the amenities you would need or want. The home was clean and cute. Beds & pillows were comfy. Great location too.

A gorgeous house in a great location!! I loved the layout of the house, it was so open and in a big fan of open concept spaces. The bedrooms were also a really great size with lots of room to play for the kids. One thing I was very pleased to find was that while it is technically “three floors” each set of stairs is VERY short, so it doesn’t feel like your climbing a mountain every time you need to get upstairs. The house was extremely clean and wonderfully organized The kids bedroom was FULL of toys for all ages and my daughter loved going through it all. The available high chair and pack n play were also a really convenient and appreciated touch. Lastly, Marianna was SO NICE and incredibly helpful!!! I asked her about the location of some laundry detergent and we realized there was none. She immediately door dashed an entire gallon of detergent to the house without me even asking. So sweet!! I would definitely stay here again!!!

Marcela's home is superb. It was even bigger and brighter than we expected. Her home was exactly what needed to have a relaxed family reunion. Everything was so well put together and thought out we did not have to ask her for anything!

We visited Island Grace for a long weekend and enjoyed the many perks of this beautiful home! It was a perfect spot to visit Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, and beaches and just a short drive to other areas and towns. We enjoyed biking, the hot tub, and the well-appointed kitchen. The beds were so comfortable! We truly had everything we needed and thought it was so fun to watch their HGTV episode!
