Wonderful hosts! Super friendly and responsive. Very accommodating and on top of everything. The location was beautiful, especially the trail to the river. The cabin was perfect for my stay and very cozy. I would definitely recommend!

AMAZING VIEWS! The sunrises and sunsets were just amazing at Stephanie's place in Salida.... I've stayed at many "one-person" AirBNB setups, this was as good as it gets! Just a really nice little place, but enough space to set up my computer, have my little kitchen nook, and then the porch outside is INCREDIBLE, huge amount of space, was able to do yoga out there and enjoy the great views and mountain air! It's also walkable to anywhere... I enjoyed walking down to the "duck pond" (Sands) by the Arkansas river, another beautiful place to be anytime of day, but particularly at sunrise/sunset, and while Salida is small, there are some great shops downtown to explore! All in all highly recommend and hope to stay again... Stephanie is a very responsive host, and actually replaced the coffee table on the deck while I was there with a newer version, which was a great sign as to how she keeps the place up to date! 10 stars out of 5!

Perfect location as a base for exploring the canyons and hiking.

The yurt is beautiful and unique. The setting couldn't be matched and there is a gorgeous view from the yurt. The clubhouse area was a great place for our group to gather and play a game or hang out. We were so pleased with our entire experience and hope to come back. The only thing to note is that there is not a pull-out couch. It is a futon, so two adults sleeping there was a squeeze. It would be better for one adult (so 3 total) or children. But we made it work! Thanks BV Overlook. Y'all rock!
