It is almost impossible to describe the height of what my stay at Paulo Autran's house really was. Angelo and Patrícia are the best hosts I've ever had contact with. The experience was of a welcoming home, of affection, love and a lot of quality. A very well located place, a breakfast that feels like grandma's house, a lively, friendly, perfect team. It was definitely the best place I've ever stayed in my life. I wish I could always go back there, where my heart is now. Thank you very much, my dear Pati, Ângelo and Beto!

It was absolutely perfect! The listing does not do it justice. This is a boutique guest house in the perfect location to walk around, close to the beach and to the old town. You can tell they have great taste and class as everything was flawless. They provided us incredible recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area and we had one of the best meals of our lives at Banana de terra per Renan’s recommendation. We enjoyed the complimentary tea coffee and cake at 5pm too! Thank you for everything!

You won’t go wrong here. Patricia pays close attention to detail. The rooms are comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful with antiques and great art. The breakfast is amazing, with organic, locally sourced ingredients. Not to be missed!

Our visit to Paraty was the highlight of our trip and this is mostly because of our stay at Carpe Diem. Kai and his team went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our honeymoon to the fullest. The setting and location was perfect, the breakfast was delicious (highly recommend the omelettes) and the room was cozy and comfortable (with a TV for that odd late sleep in). Kai took us on a boat ride to visit untouched islands, gave amazing food suggestions and used his local knowledge to ensure all our logistical needs were taken care of. We are so grateful that Carpe Diem was part of our experience and we look forward to being back!

Accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very clean. Common areas are beautiful with lots of hammocks. The room was really nice and overlooked the garden very well maintained. The communal kitchen is fine, a few amenities are missing but it remains functional. For this price it would be really nice to have breakfast included.

I just loved this place! Third time in Paraty and this place was one of the best I've ever stayed at. I received all the support from the beginning. Jaque was very attentive, passing on all the instructions on how to get to the inn by wpp. Arriving at the place, we were greeted by Anderson! Very nice and very helpful people. The impeccable place is beautiful. Comfortable bed, spacious room, everything clean and fragrant. It has an enviable service area! I already want to go back 😌

Wonderful, quiet place. The bedroom and bathroom are extremely clean. In the shared space we were super comfortable. Jaque is very friendly. Certainly, when we return to Paraty, we will stay in this same place.

Wonderful place to stay! We felt welcome right from the beginning. The modern furnishings and quiet location provide perfect conditions for relaxation. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained. Due to the somewhat remote location, it is recommended to arrive by car. We even extended our stay – absolutely recommended!
