It was absolutely perfect! The listing does not do it justice. This is a boutique guest house in the perfect location to walk around, close to the beach and to the old town. You can tell they have great taste and class as everything was flawless. They provided us incredible recommendations for restaurants and bars in the area and we had one of the best meals of our lives at Banana de terra per Renan’s recommendation. We enjoyed the complimentary tea coffee and cake at 5pm too! Thank you for everything!

Our visit to Paraty was the highlight of our trip and this is mostly because of our stay at Carpe Diem. Kai and his team went the extra mile to ensure we enjoyed our honeymoon to the fullest. The setting and location was perfect, the breakfast was delicious (highly recommend the omelettes) and the room was cozy and comfortable (with a TV for that odd late sleep in). Kai took us on a boat ride to visit untouched islands, gave amazing food suggestions and used his local knowledge to ensure all our logistical needs were taken care of. We are so grateful that Carpe Diem was part of our experience and we look forward to being back!

This was an incredible location! It was seriously gorgeous, lovely, a dream come true. The breakfast served every morning was DELICIOUS and the views are stunning. What a unique place! If you are going to Tiradentes, I would definitely tell you to stay here. I am definitely planning to go back! 11/10!

Accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very clean. Common areas are beautiful with lots of hammocks. The room was really nice and overlooked the garden very well maintained. The communal kitchen is fine, a few amenities are missing but it remains functional. For this price it would be really nice to have breakfast included.

Nice Hostel! Cozy Backyard, Clean, we were able to Check in at 2am and could Store our bags after Checkout. Well equipped kitchen and friendly staff. Nothing More to ask for :)!

The hotel has a great gastronomic service, breakfast there is good breakfast (but paid aside). The heated pool and sauna also made the reservation worthwhile. Even though it was a more remote location, we were able to get around by Uber from the hotel to all the tours, always staying in the $12 range.

Wonderful place to stay! We felt welcome right from the beginning. The modern furnishings and quiet location provide perfect conditions for relaxation. Everything was immaculately clean and well maintained. Due to the somewhat remote location, it is recommended to arrive by car. We even extended our stay – absolutely recommended!

Gislaine and Felipe are excellent hosts, the space is very well located, close to everything, impeccable hygiene, they are super considerate. I want to highlight the space for work, the silence of the place and the comfort of the beds. The internet is excellent and normal. I highly recommend it and I will be back for sure.

I just loved this place! Third time in Paraty and this place was one of the best I've ever stayed at. I received all the support from the beginning. Jaque was very attentive, passing on all the instructions on how to get to the inn by wpp. Arriving at the place, we were greeted by Anderson! Very nice and very helpful people. The impeccable place is beautiful. Comfortable bed, spacious room, everything clean and fragrant. It has an enviable service area! I already want to go back 😌

Great stay, all very clean and organized. Room identical to the one listed. Receptionist clarified doubts as to the location/city and was extremely polite and attentive. Well located, with markets, bakeries, snack bars and pharmacy nearby.
