Monthly Rentals in Makanda Township

We were in town for a girls get away with some hiking and Twisted Sister was perfect! Such a beautiful setting and so close to the places we wanted to go. It was super easy to get in, very clean, and had everything we needed to cook for ourselves as we prefer to do. We also enjoyed strawberries from Flamm Orchard, and great hikes at nearby Little Grand Canyon and Cove Hollow, plus of course Giant City State Park. Candace was an excellent hostess. She lives next door but gave us complete privacy. And when I had questions or wanted recommendations she was super responsive. It made us feel safe and cared for. It is so nice that she shares her beautiful property with guests in this way. We will be back!

Perfect peaceful place to stay while we did some hiking and then wine trails. Everything was as described and all drawers and light switches were labeled which was really nice.

This is such a relaxing place to escape and refresh. The location immediately gives you a sense of peace and tranquility. The eclectic style inside the apartment offers the perfect mix of boho, vintage, and modern designs. This is the place to go for complete mind and body reset! We will definitely be back!

We truly enjoyed the stay at Blackjack vineyard. My favorite part was sitting in the back porch, enjoying the beautiful vineyard and watching various birds/squirrels playing on top of the trees. It was so peaceful. The house was clean, comfortable, and homey! Peter was a great host welcoming us warmly. Will definitely come back in the future!
