Cottage holiday rentals in Lower Normandy

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very comfortable and very well-equipped. The trampoline, games, books, and comics delighted our daughter. Despite average weather, we were able to enjoy the garden, hot tub and hammam. The house is also located a stone's throw from the lively heart of Saint-Pair sur Mer with all its shops and three steps from the sea. We'll be back with pleasure in this nice house. Perfect stay in a beautiful rural part of France. All D-day and other historical events within easy driving distance with Bayeux 10 mins away for meals and shopping. Recommend you use a bike to explore the local areas.

We had a pleasant stay that was able to satisfy everyone, the calm for the adults, the trampoline for the children and the large grounds for the dog. We were welcomed with a stocked basket that was very useful to us, as the supermarkets were closed on this holiday. the place is pleasant and self check-in is very useful. Hannah was always responsive to our many questions.

We had a great stay with the family, everything was perfect, whether it was the comfortable and very well-equipped house, the beautiful garden (and the many cherry trees that the children loved) or the relaxation area with heated pool and jacuzzi. We had an absolutely perfect stay! The accommodation is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. The jacuzzi is a real plus to relax after a day of sightseeing. The location is ideal: halfway between Saint-Malo and Mont-Saint-Michel, which makes it easy to discover the whole region. The hosts are very welcoming and available, while remaining discreet. Staying at Francois’ cottage was peaceful and quiet. The cottage is just as it appears in the photos— it’s spacious, clean and functional and serene. The property is beautiful. Although you have another cottage set on the other side, it doesn’t detract from your sense of privacy. It feels like you’re a thousand miles apart. I wouldn’t advise this cottage, however, for anyone who is handicapped, very elderly, or who has toddlers because of the stairs. Other than that, you will be very pleased with your time there.

Amazing spot to unwind from the big wide world, two hounds loved it with great walks in mature woods on your door step, with beautiful surrounding country side. Everyone we met or interacted with was friendly and very helpful. Great local produce to be had so go find it as you will not be disappointed. Would not and will not hesitate to highly recommend and book again....

Our stay at Isabelle’s place was absolutely unforgettable! Isabelle was beyond amazing as a host – warm, welcoming, and so thoughtful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The location itself was stunning – beautifully peaceful and incredibly relaxing. While it’s remote and there aren’t shops or restaurants nearby, that added to the charm and tranquility. It felt like we had our own private sanctuary. The property is a dream, with so many thoughtfully placed little areas to relax, unwind, and just enjoy the surroundings. Whether it was sitting with a book or just soaking in the views, each spot felt special. And the house itself – wow! It’s stocked with everything we could need, and honestly, it looks like something straight out of a high-end design magazine. Every detail is beautifully curated, with a stylish, welcoming vibe that feels effortlessly sophisticated. I can’t recommend Isabelle’s place enough for someone looking for paradise. 😍

We had a great stay. The house is equipped with everything you need. Sandra and Paul have spent a lot of attention on all the details. We also got a complimentary bottle of wine, and all the other basics that you need such as coffee, cooking oil, butter and bread. We definitely recommend it!

Great location very close to the local amenities. Beautiful house, lots of space. We went as a family of 8 and had plenty of room, 3 toilets, 2 bathrooms, large dinning area and kitchen. There were also garden toys and games for the kids. The house was clean and met are needs. We needed 3 single beds which Severine and Thierry provided. They were very responsive and on hand when we needed anything. This place overall was a gorgeous place to stay with a large amount of what you need. The supermarket was only a 10 minute drive so very convenient. If you going with kids be sure to visit the swimming pool in lisieux as it was brilliant. Thank you both for letting us use your air bnb.

Paradise. In fact, this one word indicates how we spent our time with Vincent and Margot and how we felt. You can read all the other findings in the other reviews, such as the wonderful beds. We had good weather most days so we could spend a lot of time outside. There is a lot to see, places like Lisieux, Bayeux and Honfleur. The coast of the invasion was impressive all around D-Day this year. We enjoyed the castles and the beautiful gardens where everything colored and smelled. Lovely to stay for part of the day around the house, a paradise of trees (the fragrant lime!), plants and roses. And always the most beautiful bird concerts. We also enjoyed our daily jars of ping-pong. Dear Margot and Vincent, thank you for a week of happiness, health and amitié. We wish you many more years of family life in this unique spot of earth in Normandy.

The house and garden are even nicer than the pictures. It's beautiful. The house is missing nothing, it is perfectly equipped and full of details. Very quiet and ideal to disconnect from the city. Ideal to explore Pays d'Auge. Eric and his daughter Megane are delightful and have been available to answer any questions. We definitely recommend it.
