Cottage holiday rentals in France

Everything was perfect. We had a great stay in this little paradise, both quiet and tastefully decorated. The surrounding area is really lovely. Thank you very much to Johanna and her partner! We will return as soon as possible. 😊🌷

We had a great Ascension weekend at Sandra and Mathieu's place. The accommodation is beautiful, tastefully renovated. The place is beautiful, surrounded by nature and very quiet. Many activities during the day: hiking in varied landscapes (mountains, ponds, etc.), electric bike rental in Melisey (€35/day) and games available in the accommodation. In the evening, it's time for foosball and the jacuzzi! I would highly recommend this rental!

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

We had a great stay, the setting is beautiful with a beautiful view and tranquility, the accommodation is perfect and well decorated, we enjoyed the plancha of the hot tub and pool. the host is super responsive to any requests. i highly recommend this place.

We had a great weekend at Christelle's place. The sauna and hot tub were much appreciated. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable with their private bathroom. Christelle was a nice host who showed us the walks and places to visit in the area. We'll be happy to go back!

Had a very nice stay with 4 friends in this cottage. Everything was provided, very cozily furnished and ideal for a weekend getaway. The combination of the beautiful quiet green area, hot tub in the garden and super cozy cottage with close to the large city of Lille is ideal! Jerry was a very pleasant host who was quick to respond, helped us and gave tips. We had a very nice weekend!

This was the most beautiful Airbnb house I have ever rented – hands down. Dominique was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire stay felt like a pure vacation dream. The house is located in one of the most stunning regions I’ve ever seen – the landscape, the view, the garden, everything is just magical. The kitchen, the interior design, every little detail – it’s like stepping into another world. I’ve truly never seen anything this beautiful. As mentioned in the description, the pool was cold, but having a pool like this is such a gift – we used it every single day and loved it. Everything was simply perfect and dreamy. I can only recommend this place to everyone – and I’ll definitely come back!

Very happy with my 3-day weekend, me looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect place. This little house so nice and warm, I loved the bathrooms and the upstairs bedroom which is just beautiful. Mark has always been responsive to the message, at the top. This place and a small gem, I'd recommend it. I'm thinking about coming back 😊

We had a lovely stay at the house. Perfect for families. It’s quiet and remote. If you have a car there is plenty to do that’s close by. The house is beautifully restored and had so many amazing spots to hang out or chill. Several fireplaces, indoor and outdoor dining spots, very comfortable. Would recommend!

A peaceful place to unwind. The birdsong was appreciated. Nice place to hike. Small shops accessible 5 minutes from the cottage by car. Clear and accurate instructions. Responsive host.

A beautiful little nest in the countryside away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it was a perfect place to unwind and get some rest, our host was lovely and helpful, and the castle grounds were simply gorgeous, definitely on our go-back-to list ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very welcoming, friendly house. It seemed as if the residents had gone out for a while and would return. Everything is present and works. Very nice television room (Roland Garros). Absolutely quiet location, you only hear nature and beautiful views over the hills.

Stephanie is a host of rare kindness. She knew how to put us at ease so that we could feel at home. His instructions before our arrival allow for a serene arrival. His well-appointed and tastefully decorated accommodation, surrounded by his magnificent little companions, offers a peaceful and exotic setting. Our dog was more than pampered, animals are really welcome! Thank you for this welcome and the visit tips despite our short weekend.

We had a wonderful stay as a family with two small children. The house is absolutely beautiful, very tastefully decorated, and extremely well-equipped - especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The garden and the surrounding area are stunning and perfect for relaxing or letting the kids play. The location is excellent, close to many great sights in the Dordogne, including the famous Lascaux caves. Périgueux is just a short drive away and offers a lovely market and all the stores you might need. Catherine and Maxence were incredibly kind and helpful, offering perfect tips on what to do and where to eat in the area. The only small disappointment was that the pool wasn't working during our stay - this would have made our experience even more amazing. Still, we can absolutely recommend this place!

We spent two restful days in this wonderful house and couldn’t be happier. It’s absolutely beautiful and we had everything we needed. The house is stunningly decorated and surrounded by nature, fields and animals. Eric was very helpful and picked us up from the train station. The stay was a unique experience that we never forget. Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

Alison and Costas are a dream team. Excellent hosts with a beautiful chateau for you to enjoy. Aline is great too. You’ll have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Great food and activity recommendations in the booklet. Be sure to visit all the markets you can, and try and eat at Le Flores- which was the perfect lazy lunch venue.
