Macarena's place was exactly what I needed for a peaceful getaway! Nestled in a serene, tree-filled location, it truly lived up to its promise of tranquility. I booked my stay hoping for a few days of rest and relaxation, and that's precisely what I experienced. The place is incredibly scenic and has all the amenities necessary for a comfortable and unwinding stay. The big projector screen was a fantastic bonus – we had a great time watching movies. I only wish I could have stayed longer! I highly recommend Macarena's place for anyone seeking a quiet and rejuvenating retreat.

Beth's place was exactly what was advertised - and what we needed - peaceful and relaxing! The cabin is tastefully decorated, and had everything needed to enjoy our weekend away. The community of Locust Lake is cute and quiet, and is great for taking walks with your family (which included our two dogs). We were so happy that the weather was cool enough to use the wood burning stove all weekend! The bathroom and kitchen had all that we needed when it came to basics of hygiene and easy cooking, and the bed was comfortable for some well earned sleep. We really appreciated the dog blankets as well, since our pups are keen on being right next to us 100% of the time.

My girlfriends and I have been renting from Amy for 5 years now and it truly feels like “coming home”. We love the short walk to the lake, the privacy, the wildlife, and especially the fireplace. The house is always decorated nicely and feels warm and welcoming. Thank you for another great weekend away!
