What an amazing location. Right on the Loch just like the photos. An easy walk (100m) down to a stone beach where you can swim. We had a drink on the balcony each evening enjoying the view and the serenity. Even had a visit from the pine marten. There were two other lodges close by, but they are all private and well separated. The location is a little remote, but that was a big plus for us. We found the quality of produce in the region exceptional so decided to cook during our stay and maximize the time we had to enjoy the location. The kitchen has all you need to cook for yourself. There are places to eat in the area if you want to eat out. The lodge was very clean and well laid out. Dermot is super responsive and leaves detailed instructions for everything. We would happily return.

Superb place nestled in the highlands. Wonderful host who deeply cares about setting the right expectations to get your stay of to a great start. Spacious living room and kitchen area for a trailer home. The water works and pressure are absolutely fine, as is the duration for showering. Stunning views, even with rain. Absolutely peaceful. Just do your shopping before getting there und you’ll be grand. Don’t forget spray against midges, I totally underestimated how much they like humans 😅.

We had great time at the Owl cottage, we felt right at home. There was ample space for 2 adults and 2 kids, and we would have loved to bring our dog as he too would have loved it, but unfortunately we had to leave him overseas. The kitchen had every thing we needed and everything was clean and in fantastic condition. WIFI and cell coverage was spotty, and Jane did warn us about the WIFI ahead of time. All in all it was a great stay and we highly recommend staying at the Owl cottage.

We had very nice time at the Eilidh‘s place. The view is breathtaking as the location (we really liked baby sheep as neighbors). It was a bit difficult to find but if you follow the exact location given in Airbnb you will get to the place easily. It was clean and comfortable and we had everything we needed. Only small inconvenience (which host has nothing to do with) was that the road was closed between 7 pm and 6 am direction Fort William and they would let the cars to pass only once an hour. This should continue till 18.06. 2025 so if you are traveling during this period of time you should keep that in mind. Otherwise, if we have a chance, we will definitely come back.
