Monthly Rentals in Lanesville

We loved our stay at the cabin and hope to be back soon! It’s was the perfect place for us to stay for our week upstate. We loved the movie collection and listening to the sounds of the creek from the open windows. Really feels like you are at someone’s home and not a soulless rental! Five stars ❤️

Alexandra’s cabin is the peaceful, private retreat that dreams are made of. We’d never actually stayed in a tiny house before, but the thoughtful design ensured it was perfectly comfortable for two people and our pup (the stairs to the sleeping loft are steep, so might be tough with any mobility issues; our pup slept downstairs in his bed). The WiFi is more than sufficient for taking video calls and working remotely, and the air conditioning ensures you can stay cool if you have to stay inside on a hot day. This is one of the few Airbnbs we’ve stayed at where all outdoor amenities are actually available as described - we grilled out every night (purchased charcoal and lighter fluid at Tops in Tannersville, used the provided chimney to start the grill) and drank cider around the firepit (tons of dry wood provided, pit was dry and ready to go, gathered kindling from the property, brought our own fire starters) while the sun set over the mountain. Perfection.

What a great place for weekend of relaxation. Although it rained most of the weekend, we made great use of the house and backyard. My kids loved the creek! The grocery store and restaurants are a short drive away as well.

What an amazing experience! The location is breathtaking and beautiful. There were so many activities to do in nature, such as fishing and hiking. It was so peaceful and relaxing and the host, Maxim, was super responsive and helpful. Would 100% recommend!
