What a wonderful place! Francine and Tom were terrific, the house is very private and quiet with a deck facing the woods. Beautifully furnished and decorated. So many nice features, like the various coffee-making options, and an abundance of little touches that showed so much care.. It’s a short drive to the Putnam Rail Trail, which is part of the New York State Empire Trail, so you can bicycle for many miles on an excellent, dedicated path. (And the Maybrook trail is also not far.). The area is beautiful with lakes and reservoirs and some hiking nearby as well. A real treasure!

The place was very cozy. Felt like home. The Host was very attentive and had everything mapped out for us. It was equipped with everything, washer, dryer. Basically anything you would have at your home they supplied. I will definitely rent again. Thank you Michael and family for sharing your home with us. We stayed 4 days and I was at peace.

This was a few nights getaway with my two adult daughters. The house is adorable, neat and cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Felt right at home. We did a little kayaking on the lake, which was beautiful. The weather wasn’t perfect, but we made the best of it and enjoyed each other’s company. The neighborhood was very quaint. We took a walk around the lake. Nicole was very responsive whenever I messaged her. We felt very comfortable being there. I would highly recommend this home.
