John was very proactive in sending messages and helping with questions. It was easy to walk to nearby restaurants and pubs. Nice spacious rooms!

A lovely stay for 2 nights to visit relatives nearby. Elizabeth's information suggested a walk up The Helm, a nearby hill. The beautiful views over Kendal and the surrounding hills were well worth it. The very comfortable bed gave us both a good nights sleep. An ideal place for us with our dog. Will use again.

Sandra was a very welcoming host, was quick to respond to messages and gave me some great tips on where to go walking in the area. Very comfortable stay 😄
