Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Kendal

John was so kind to wait for us as we reached late. The place is great, soo many rooms and soo many things to do. Pool, jacuzzi, Sauna, baths, Fireplace, 2 kitchens.. would keep a day to just enjoy the house!. John is extremely helpful with recommendations and any help. We were 9 people and it was tremendous fun. We walked to stone circles at 8 pm and it was like walking in the clouds. Not enough words! If you are a group, this is the place to stay in Lake district. Would recommend it and would visit back! Thanks John!

The venue is stunning, the photos do not do it justice! Everyone has everything the need in each room with their own en suite and the grandness of the building is something else! You have so much space, the large garden area wraps around back and side and is beautiful with stunning views! Everything you could need in the kitchen and welcome bottle very kindly provided by our hosts! Plenty of entertainment and eating areas! When leaving one of our cars broke down and they were very understanding and accommodating! Perfect location, made our stay extra special!

We really enjoyed our time at Paula's cottage. The space was clean, peaceful and super comfortable with a great location. We'd absolutely recommend and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Bay Horse Cottage! The place is cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Caroline and Phil were incredibly welcoming and accommodating throughout. Our little one especially loved the treats provided – thank you! We’d love to return and highly recommend this lovely cottage to others.

We really enjoyed our 1 week stay at Ivy Nest. We had our 2 little dogs with us. Comfy bed, nice homely house, good location for amenities. Always got parked near the house and used the parking permit. Jaqueline was always friendly, left us personal recommendations (especially dog friendly places) and personal touches (cute blackboard welcoming us too) Check in was made super easy with Jacquelines picture instructions. Welcome book full of info. Internet good which was handy as we didnt have good phone signal there. We enjoyed some of the takeaways in the area as well as cooking in the house. Jaqueline left us to it, but was on hand if we needed anything. We would stay again if visiting the area.

A lovely place that is only a short walk to the centre Hebden Bridge, with a nice hot tub and next to the train station.

We enjoyed a long weekend at Thomas Gray with 4 adults and a dog. We were blessed with glorious sunshine so spent most of the time out and about. There are beautiful walks nearby with the dog. The local picnic spot has a cafe open Fri, sat, sun, great for brekky & a cuppa! Jerry & the team were very responsive.

The perfect place! We are often so disappointed with the lack of effort put into places we've stayed, and it was such a dream to find Sara's place totally exceeded expectations! It was cosy, clean, had lovely decoration, even homemade cookies on arrival. It had everything we needed and the patio area in the garden was gorgeous. For once it actually felt worth the money, we could have stayed a week! It felt like sara really cared about putting a personal touch into the room. Thankyou 🥰

Great place, very quiet and peaceful. Beds comfortable. We stayed whilst going to a family wedding in the area. We would definitely recommend the place and stay again if we visit the area.

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place! Super spacious and spotless.. comfortably fit three of us. I really enjoyed the quirky style and colorful decor, and there were plenty of books and games to keep us entertained during downtime. Siobhan was very responsive and helpful throughout. The location is fantastic, easy to walk to shops and restaurants, but still nice and quiet. Plus, the views from the window were a lovely bonus!

Apartment has everything you need; comfy bed, nice shower & bathroom, full kitchen inc tea & coffee etc, big living space with tele & board games. We’ve come away Scrabble lovers! Lovely garden & only few mins walk round to the canal & cafe. Perfect! Oh & not to forget the kind gesture of homemade tea loaf; very thoughtful & tasty! This bijpu bedsit is perfect for a single person. Peaceful and private, and with everything I needed. The bed was really comfortable, and the whole place was immaculately clean. I was really happy to see environmental measures in place. The location is perfect - spot on for accessing this part of the Lakes, with so many beautiful spots within easy driving distance. Kath's communications were clear and friendly and fast. I would recommend this accommodation and its owners without hesitation.

Mike's place was perfect for our 3 night trip to the Colne Valley. The farm shop just across the road and pub a short walk away were very handy. The place was very clean and had everything we needed, and we felt really comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door. Would lo e to come back and explore the area more.

This a lovely cosy, quirky little home. It is clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and thought Julia the host was exceptionally helpful and responsive. We will absolutely return.

Absolutely loved our stay here. It’s out the way, quiet, peaceful and perfect place to reset. The communication was fabulous, the owner was wonder was kind, friendly and accommodating. Love the fact it’s on a dairy farm! Would definitely go back!

Absolutely perfect long weekend at Peasecroft. The place is gorgeous and so well kitted out. We took a projector and had a movie night - the blinds are the perfect projector screen ;-). We bagged three Wainwrights, did a boat tour, tried most of the pubs in Coniston, had a spa day at Low Wood bay... perfect weekend and amazing accommodation. Couldn't recommend it highly enough! We loved our weekend escape to Coniston and found the accommodation both peaceful and perfect. The views were outstanding and all our walks were from the doorstep. The weather could have been kinder but returning to a hot shower & relaxing space made our days even better. A wonderful weekend, thank you!

The lodge was in a beautiful location over looking the lake. It instantly felt so homely and was well equipped with everything you’d need and more; down to the paddle boards and life jackets Charlotte allows guests to use on their stay. Charlotte was a fantastic host and send me a lengthy email weeks before hand with useful information. great tips, places to visit and more. I would definitely love to return to the lodge again soon.

Nicola was very friendly and accommodating. Good walking recommendations! The hut was peaceful and in a beautiful setting. Would certainly come again.

Me and my husband stayed here for our baby moon and it couldn’t be a better location. It was so peaceful and exactly what we needed. Laura was very attentive and friendly too, which helped. Hoping to return once our baby arrives for a slice of tranquility!
