Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Hafnarfjörður

This was such an amazing place! The views from the back were amazing, perfect view of the city, yet super close to the city - less than 5 minutes to get there! We also had 3 kids with us, they loved the hot tub and exploring the backyard. Loved our stay here and would stay again.

Asta was so helpful with local recommendations, and her house was clean welcoming. We had everything we needed right at our fingertips. The sauna and hot tub were great for relaxing. The location was perfectly central for exploring the Reykjavik peninsula.

Eva and Larus were gracious hosts that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and our stay comfortable. We were delayed by over 5 hours and ended up arriving after midnight. They kindly went and got us some supplies for breakfast for the next morning because the shops were shut by the time we arrived and they reassured us that we were not inconveniencing them by arriving late. Eva was easy to contact and gave us lots of tips for nice things to do with children nearby. Larus ensured we knew how to operate the hot tub and they both showed us round the home to make sure we knew where to find everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Eva and Larus’ beautiful home and would throughly recommend staying there. We also had a fabulous view of fireworks over Reykjavík for the New Year’s celebrations!

We arrived from the US at 9pm with two young children and it was great to have a place next to the airport. We bought some food at the airport and at a grocery store on the way to the house and by 10:30 we were having dinner. The place is very nice, very clean and comfortable. We are grateful that Kristinn provides basic needs like soap, shampoo, detergent, cooking oil. Many Airbnbs do not and it is very uncomfortable that the first thing you have to do when you arrive to a vacation place is to go to the store to buy these basic items. She was also flexible about a few things during our stay which we greatly appreciated it. We went for a run early morning and the surroundings are beautiful. She provided very clear information about how settle in her place. Thank you very much Kristine, you are a very thoughtful host, and your place is lovely!!

Amazing location in Iceland! Extremely responsive and helpful hosts! Our kids and family had a great time.

This is the best Airbnb places I've been to so far. We had a group of seven and Gyoa's place really exceeded all of our expectations and truly offered what the best host can do. I highly recommend her place if you plan to lodge near Reykjavík area. 1. Bathrooms: Her place had one bathroom (no showers) in the 1st floor and a full bath in the 2nd floor. Both are nice and clean and well accommodated. 2. Bedrooms: There are three bedrooms in the 2nd floor. All of her bedrooms were clean and had enough space for everyone. Each room can fit two people but one of the bedrooms had a sofa bed so if you have a third person then you can easily fit them in. 3. Kitchen: Gyoa's kitchen was phenomenal. She had all the amenities that you would need just like your home. Cups, plates, forks, spoons, air fryer, oven, toaster, microwave, induction, electric kettle, Nespresso machine w/ capcules, and so on. You don't need to bring anything with you if you plan to cook. 4. Living Room/TVs: Superb!

A stay at this lovely place gives you a high-end experience, no doubt. The house is spacious, clean, well organized, has super tasteful interiors, and a hot tub as the cherry on top! I was simply left with a "wow" after check in and seeing all the small details Thorunn pays attention to. She had made sure that we would not lack a thing, and the instructions she provided us with answered litterally every questions we had during our stay. What a perfect host Thorunn is! Highly recommend✨

This beautiful home exceeded our expectations! Halldor communicated/responded very quickly any time we had a question. The kitchen is state of the art gourmet, all furniture and beds were extremely comfortable and great quality. Very well appointed, modern home with smart features for room darkening for peaceful sleep. Grocery store and the city were convenient. Quiet, upscale neighborhood. We hope to return to Iceland and would want to stay here again. It was perfect for our family.

Wonderful place to stay! This house provided all of the amenities we needed for our family of six of various ages. We had a fantastic trip together to Iceland and the hosts were friendly, helpful and responsive to our questions.

This was the first time we used AirBnB and it was great experience for us due to the great approach and service provided by Sigridur. The whole process from booking, to arrival, stay and check-out was very easy due to the proactive and helpful communication from Sigridur. The property itself was as described, clean and carefully prepared for AirBnB usage. I would highly recommend staying there if you need a base for exploring Reykjavik and neighbouring areas.

Hrafn's home was a great place to stay for our first visit to Iceland. Centrally located in Reykjavik, just minutes from the downtown area.

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The house boasts a stunning modern design with lots of natural light, and it's located in a peaceful yet convenient area. The garden and pool were highlights, providing a perfect space to relax and unwind. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and there was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Our host, Sigridur, was incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a great stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway!

Gigja was extremely welcoming and helpful in showing us around the house and giving us local recommendations. Her house is an amazing place for kids! We had 3 kids under 5 who loved the trampoline, the 2 enclosed outdoor spaces and playhouse, and the toys and spacious interior. The place is immaculately clean and full of beautiful plants! There is a walking path that goes right by the house and runs along a stream and goes to 2 parks that we frequented. All things in Reykjavik were under 10 minutes by car. We highly recommend this house and the hosts.

We absolutely loved every second of our stay at Eugenias beautiful home. From the gorgeous exterior to the perfect layout to the sauna/hottub/cold plunge with the babbling stream running alongside. Magical! The setting was incredibly stunning and was truly one of our favorite views in all of Western Iceland. Close enough to Reykjavik while still feeling a world away. How lucky we felt to call it home each day we returned from exploring. Traveling as a family of five with three young children (9, 7, 6) we were also grateful for the lovely amenities (legos!) that made our time at home extra enjoyable for the kids. Enjoying a coffee each morning with the incredible views of the snow capped mountains was such a treat as was a night of Northern Lights! We've traveled to many Airbnbs across the world and Eugenia tops the list as the most helpful, kind, thoughtful host we've encountered. Being able to stay in her home felt so authentically Iceland and made for the most memorable trip!

It offered the perfect mix of seclusion and convenience—quiet and relaxing, yet close to great attractions and things to do in the area. The host was exceptionally accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind in comfort and nature!

Very attractive and comfortable cabin in a beautiful area which feels entirely private despite being only an hour from Reykjavik. Great base for hiking or sightseeing. We had five days here and felt we only scratched the surface of what the area has to offer. Cabin is very well and thoughtfully equipped. Matthias was a great host and offered fantastic recommendations of things to do and see. No hesitation at all in recommending.

My family and I thorough enjoyed our stay! After a long day of travel the hot tub and peaceful surroundings were just what was needed! The location was within easy driving distance to many local attractions and to the city for any supplies needed. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay just outside the capital.

The cabin was only about 15 minutes from Reykjavík and 45 from Keflavík airport. With the directions we were given, we found it easily and check-in was a breeze! The views from the cabin were spectacular, and the large windows made us feel surrounded by nature in the best way! Having the hot tub accessible was so nice, especially after long days of chilly outdoor activity. Great experience!

The location is beautiful! Very private, modern, clean, and excellently maintained house with incredible views. The host was very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend.

The cabin was just as described. The beds were all comfortable and the hot tub was great and though the road is close - you could not hear it with the windows closed. We had a little trouble finding the place - google & apple both took us to the wrong place - but our car’s nav found it. The only thing the cabin didn’t have that would have been nice is curtains. It was tough to sleep when you are not used to it being light out all night, but we survived. The location was great for exploring Reykjavík, the golden circle and south Iceland.

Tumi was extremely helpful the entire experience, offering more than what was even offered on the listing. We seriously appreciate all the effort that was made to make our last day in Iceland as easy and stress free as possible. If I had to say one thing, it is that the location of this rental is a bit confusing to get to. Offering slightly better instructions would be extremely helpful, but overall was a perfect distance from the airport and offered everything needed for an affordable stay - plus a hot tub!

Oskar was the ultimate host. He responded to all of my queries promptly. His home fit our needs perfectly. Very clean, well-stocked kitchen. We enjoyed his hot tub, and my 9-year-old grandson had a nice grassy area in front of the house to run around and play in.

Great host and beautiful cabin!! gravel road is a bit steep for rental car but would definitely recommend.
