Kirkjuland is a small farm just 10km north of Reykjavik, on Kjalarnes. Located under the beautiful mountain Esja. Peaceful and cozy.. We can host 2 persons at our facility. Fantastic view over the Reykjavik area. We are close to many beautiful places you would want to visit; like Thingvellir national park, Glymur the highest waterfall in Iceland, Húsafell , Krauma, Giljaböð natural bath places, etc. All photos of the northern lights taken in our garden! Cosy lakeview cabin 45 minutes from Reykjavik

A lakeside cabin at the foot of Medalfell mountain with direct access to the lake. A peaceful place with a beautiful lakeview where you can relax to the gentle sounds of the water. On the terrace is a barrel sauna with a beautiful view over the lake. The surrounding area is full of nature and a good starting point for little hikes. Good location for day trips to Snæfellsnes and the Golden Circle. During the winter time is a good chance of seeing the Northern lights (Aurora Borealis).
